Just had my second break in exactly that location on my otherwise great Monster headphones. I fixed the first one two years ago with an aluminum splint epoxied to the plastic frame, and tried to copy that when the 2nd break happened yesterday. Shoulda used a stronger splint, as the copper strip just bent under the strain. I'll fix it again, as I really like these phones to use with my laptop. Or maybe I'll just do what previous commenters did, simply tape the splint in position! Bad Monster! Bad, bad Monster!

i had 2 of these over a 4year time and it was the best mouse precision wise. the buttons do ware out in a few months but there's an easy fix for that if you have a few min. other than that great mouse

I somewhat repaired my broken ones by getting a piece of metal, slightly less wider that the headband, and about 2 inches long. I bent the metal to the curvature of the headband and I taped it to the headband with electrical tape, kind of like a support bridge. It looks ghetto, but they work and I can use them at home. I have new ones for "going out"...

I had the same problem but you can do something before you use them...when i got a new pair, i used electrical tape (any tape will do but i used electrical 'cuz my headphones are black) and tightly taped the area of the headband that breaks (which are the spots on the inside of the headband that have the monster logo and slightly open apart). I made sure that the tape covers the slits and remains stiff. Of course, I'm still careful when putting them on. Cheers.
