I've had mine for five years. They have held up and still sound great. Only complaint I have is they don't have great noise canceling quality. But I didn't expect that for the price. Using them to play my drumset to a backing track is possible with a headband around headphones holding them tighter to my ears.

Are they good for PS4?? I dont need it too be super special gaming headset like others (cause its not gaming headset), I just want it to use it normaly with my ps4 and for music...

I am a Proud owner of the ( Sennheiser HD 205 ) Over Ear Headphones. Amazing price for money, The Sennheiser HD 205 Over Ear Headphones have a great pitch to sound, Low to high sound of this device have great sound thoroughly through the headphones. Smooth and not over powering bass. Nice LOW. Nice Medium & High. For a cheap price im very happy with the outcome for a budget set of over ear headphones =)

i bought one of these to my productions on ableton.it was him or pionner hdj 500,did i made the right choice?
+Alexandre Saldanha I've never had a chance to try the pioneer, but it all depends on the price. There is still a lot better around. but as long as you are satisfied, the rest doesn't matter.

Just got em... Now yes I agree entry level on ergonomics but sound is mid to high range. Tested them and the sound is rich like bill gates. The cord is long but better to be too long then too short yo. I'm out @franksinop merry Christmas yall

Let me explain to you why these headphones are bad:
- It is WAYYYY TOO TIGHT. Seriously WTF was Sennheiser thinking. I guess they designed these for kids, because they really hurt my neck after a while, because they are so tight. Expect no comfort, or try to stretch it everyday. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE IF YOU HAVE AN AVERAGE SIZED OR BIG HEAD.
- The cable is 3 meters (almost 10 feet), which is too long, and is not coiled.
The good about these headphones:
- They are cheap, I bought them for €40.
- The sound is good for the price. And it also sounds good when you watch a movie. When I purchased these, I also tested a Sony in the same price range, but that one only made the music sound good (because of a bass boost), regular conversation in movies however was terrible. Don't be a moron, don't expect $100+ quality for this price, I read some people complaining about how the quality wasn't good compared to $100+ headphones.
- You receive a bag with it.

Yeah its ya head you put between them and there is a metal strip that connects the heahphone, that how they get to the 6 nm .org clamping force, would want these falling off.

LuisBasch Kind of... I would suggest something better, because these are very bottom level headphones, even though they fight hard for the price they cost.

How can they be over-ear if they rest on your ears? Shouldn't they totally encompass your ears? I ask because I'm thinking of getting these but if they rest on your ears then it's a deal breaker for me.
they DO rest, they are on-ear. I have them, and I don't recommend them if you have other more comfortable choices
I think what Vodkal trying to say is that the earphone is not on the ear but the ear should fit inside the headphone.

In less than 2 years the plastic wore off the earpads and was in my ears and all over my floor. They wanted $35.00 to repair them.
i have this headphones and these gets uncomfortable overtime. with the sound if good for its price only the comfortability 5/10, and the wire its very thin and long they could've made it a coiled. T.T
You can coil them yourself with a hairdryer and a broomstick

Sorry mate, i had these headphones for just a couple of weeks, but actually they are very good about the leaking, not the best, but good. A little bit better than the beats Mixrs...
Not bad actually... but they are just less than 100$ headphones, so do not expect too much...

just bought this for £15 2nd hand from cex. just discovered it's fokken cable has a fokken intermittent fault. Fok. I have a guarantee but it's just a fokken pain because now I have to go back there, unless I can replace the jack as the fokken fault is in there

One thing they aint is entry level , there not the first inline they are hd202 and others. Just stop describing them as entry level, these bad boy are better than most over ears that cost much more money, and if u cant see, hear, and feel that in them then dont review, and maybe script your words so ya dont keep repeating entry level.
Karl Benson Agree. These are MUCH better than I expected. I got a pair as an open box special for $23 shipped and I'm glad I got them. I compared them to the HD 203 and these stomped all over them with a nice deep and textured bass and very clear midrange . Treble is clear and not recessed. These are great for Rock and are excellent for movies and TV. They might be inexpensive but these are NOT budget cans. And for anyone wondering these DESTROY the JVC HARX-700 and HARX-900 even though those cans ARE more comfortable. The HD205 Have a clamp of death but the sound is so good I deal with it. I have the DT 880 and DT 990 and the HD 205 can still hang with those big boy cans.
Joe Rico Hey nicely put. I've bought 3 pairs of them so far, lol not all at once a pair got stole a pair lost and I sold my others for £10 more than I paid, That's a win win.. The clamping force is 6Nm of force that's is a lot. Problem is with peple they slag thing off without even ever trying them or even held a pair. But yeah they look nice feel nice and sound exceptionally well for £35 to £50 depending on the store prices. I'm buying another 2 pairs so I can keep one pair box fresh and use others for travelling, only problem I have with them is the none detachable cable. Wish they would change it to a pullout cable so I could use a shorter one.
Karl Benson When I first got them I hated them. They sounded thin and bassless. They needed about 50 hours to break in for the sound to settle in to where they sounded better. After using the JVC HARX 700 and HARX 900 I went back to the HD205 and it was like a heavy wool blanket was lifted .The clamp IS tight but it eases up to a tolerable level. These sound BETTER than the Grado SR 80 and SR 60
Joe Rico yeah same here couple of days to break in and they sounded better. Maybe if the HD205S would look and sound better if there was a open back variant and matt black.
Karl Benson True but Sennheiser already make open headphones. HD 650 HD 600 HD 598. It's nice to have a pair of balanced closed headphones for the nice extended bass and the better isolation. Late night listening is one instance where a closed can is preferred. I haven't heard the HD 650 or HD 600 but I'm thinking they might have a lot in common.
I don't recommend these, mine stopped working completely almost immediately after the 2 year warranty ran out. Really poorly built, these just start coming apart easily over time as if they were poorly glued together or something.
My first pair of 205s lasted well over seven years of constant use, so either you didn't look after them very well, or you were shit unlucky. Just got my second pair....love 'em.
