- When ThinkGeek started selling inflatable turrets I knew I had to take one out of a plane. Turns out those things are hard to get under control above 7000 feet, when the increased air pressure deflates them enough to be manageable.

I like the idea of someone just coming across that whilst out hiking in the desert. I'm not sure it would be better if they knew Portal or not.
after Aperture faded into obscurity, many turrets had acquired different careers after leaving Aperture. this is one of those stories.
