    I am looking into doing the same upgrade to my 2017 Camaro v6 Auto but I am having a hard time finding a differential for a 2016 - 2018 Camaro 2.0 Turbo auto to look into the upgrade. I was also going to look into a shop to perform the swap for me as well. I am curious to know how much can be expected from gains.
    So far I only have a cat-back exhaust, x-pipe, a hi-flow air filter by K&N and a Trifecta tune. I am looking into upgrading my intake manifold to a ported intake manifold, the 80mm big throttle body, a CAI Cold Air Intake since it has just come out a few months ago, and the last mod would be the differential if I can't find one soon.
    I am interested in Forced Air Induction but I am being told that I shouldn't do it because I will run into poor gas if it is a daily driver and that is the reason why I got rid of my 2012 Camaro SS. I had to fill it up every 2 - 3 days and the only mods I had was a cold air intake and a custom exhaust.

    Again thanks for the video. You have answered a couple questions for me in the past on this subject. The only thing holding me back at this point is - The tune after everything is complete. I want the Overkill tune but am concerned about turn around time and driving the car in the meantime. The HP Tuner you reference, is that only to correct gear ratios or that's the tune your running? What is affected until the tune is in? Once I'm straight on all of this I'll definitely make it happen.
    Thank you kindly

    Think I may have messed up trying to go from stock 2:77 to 3:73 and bought a 1LE rear when maybe I need the M6 rear. From a forum I read it’s possible the 1LE had an electronic diff and it isn’t compatible.

    for the 2023 v6’s that have the a10 transmission, you’re better off doing the 2.77 LSD in the automatic SS and change to the SS axels. this also doesn’t require a tune bc it’s the same gearing and on top of it this 3.27 is to high gearing for the 10 speeds (from what i’ve heard)

      @HyperHawkCamaro  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes Nice update point! the A10 didnt even exist when I made this video 5 years ago. the 3.27 gearing is short enough for the A8 if you put this in a A10 you might as well say goodbye to first and maybe second gear. • @HyperHawkCamaro
      @HyperHawkCamaro  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      V8 and V6 autos come with 2.77 the difference is the V6 is non LSD. The V6 and I4 manuals come to the 3.27 lSD and the i4 auto comes with 3.27 non LSD. Manual V8 has 3.73 LSD which also can be swapped in but creates for really short gears

      Yeah the trans gearing in the V8 is diff it's all about what your goals are.. you won't have traction issues with the right tire. But if your shredding around town in street tires yeah you probably will.. It's a pretty huge diff for me.

      @@@graphite718Sacrifice top end? Traction issues down low? How much horsepower do you think you're making exactly? If you're worried about traction issues down low, go with a larger/better tire setup to eliminate traction issues. If you're worried about sacrificing top end due to the increased RPM at a specific speed, then install a taller tire to compensate. The ratios can all be balanced, the idea is to find what works.
