I am very transparent and do not hide things well. I strive to be genuine and honest and want to share it with you. Someone could relate to my situation or get something out of it. I totally feel your conflict as I’m experiencing the same. Caring for my Mother who is 89 and happy to be there for her, but at the same time I can’t go, see, do and feel it is affecting my mental health. No family near by! I appreciate your videos!!

That camper should provide a haven no matter where you are. To me it provides a hotel, no matter where you are. So to be with family at time of crisis and have flexibility is priceless.

Watching and thinking that you should be sponsored by Better Health. It's okay to set boundaries for your own health. IDK, I lost my parents early to cancer (15 and 25 years ago - I'm 58 yrs now), and wonder if I would have chosen the nomad life if that were different. But also know it's the healthiest choice.
Looking forward to your European adventures. Stay healthy and embrace those emotions.

@jonathanmchugh5978 It's OK, Jonathan. Society doesn't teach us how to live our best life. It teaches us how to be a worker bee, conform, and make money for others. If you add family shiitake, you must dig deep to find yourself. You are not alone. Find the little things that make you happy, and don't judge it. Take small steps. It's hard, but everything worth it is hard. I have faith in you! I am sending you warm, fuzzy, positive vibes because you are worth, always!

We are not flawed, we are humans with experiences that teach and guide us toward evolving into better human beings. Embracing all the parts of ourselves no matter how ugly they might seem is what makes us whole beings and avoiding or rejecting parts of ourselves leaves us fragmented and inauthentic. Suppressing our emotions is never healthy and can lead some humans to addictions.
When there is shared vulnerability, there is an authentic connection between human beings and authentic connection is what humans crave.

I went through the same situation as you over 2 years ago. I moved back to my parents to help them.. and help my Dad to pass per his wishes. I still struggle with incredible guilt, and anger. Anger because I sacrificed my mental health by moving back to them. I lost a big part of myself in those 2 years. My Dad passed 9/18/2022, 4 days after his 94th birthday. My Mom is still in the house (the one I grew up in.. I even stayed in my own bedroom), and I left a week after his death to go back to work in a hospital (I am a Psych NP) for a short term gig. I needed to leave, to get back to work (which I love) in order to curb my feelings. I am still struggling, with my intrusive emotions and apparently not allowing to feel (forgive). I have blocked out how to feel happy. I definitely do not enjoy much anymore. I deprive myself of the things that I normallly like to do. I have become distant and really don't reach out to anyone. My oldest son does, but I push him aside as well. I do not like this about me.. and now all I think about is surviving one day to the next. I work a super high stress job and I think I do this to avoid my self. The 90 second rule makes sense, and I know I have stifled my feelings and your story has helped me to realize this. Thank you :)

Thank you so much for sharing! Life is always challenging, and, ironically, everyone goes through "the dark night of the soul" from time to time, and we hide it from each other. We distract and push it down, and it just lingers. It's hard to feel it because when it comes up a lot of other shiitake will arise, and it's scary, but the only way to the other side is through. I am happy that my story has helped you. That is my inspiration for exposing my life. You can get to the other side of the swamp! I am sending you love and positive vibes!

Hi Kimann, Since you sound like you want to be there for your parents then the decision is made. Then it too decide what you enjoy and make it work for your happy times. What I am trying to say is make your decision and move on with life. Life goes on and you do right now are free to make decisions or luck I call it. As sometimes we don't. We don't control life but we can decide what is best then make the choice and move on. I rather you be brain storming of your next step versus trying to make sense of it. At the end it doing what you think is right and making hard choices if you have to. This time you can as most the time in history we didn't have the luxury. What is the term nowadays. Living a interdependent life when really we live a dependent life on what life throws at us. All the time I have to remind myself I am not in control but make lucky guesses on what I should do by brainstorming.

Hi Kimman 🙃intense and emotional ! I really enjoyed this video. It’s good to get those emotions out. I watched a similar video where the message was to expel the energy by doing a sprint or doing push-ups or pull ups to exhaustion to get that pent up energy out of your body ! The fight or flight is real and natural ! Like you spoke about the ancestral self which the other individual did as well ! Cool 😉 sunshine first thing when you wake up is key! Maybe put on the headphones and put on a podcast or soothing music to get away from city noise! Your parents need you ! Yes, exciting news about Europe! A live from the Swiss Alps ! I’m there ! I can so relate to you! I’m an only child and I am also 58, I am one who does not like crowds, cities and being around a lot of people for a very long time. I get almost a panic attack. I have to be in nature where I can hear the wind through the trees and the birds and insects sing. But, I also took care of my Mom, she was very independent at 83 but learned of a 99% blockage on her widow maker, she had no choice but to try and repair it, after surgery she lasted a week with really good vitals, but ended up having a cardiac rupture and passed the day before Mother’s Day 2022 😢 and the day she would have been extubated. At our age, we were ingrained to take care of our parents, and that is what we do to the best of our ability. I am now traveling with my spouse and one dog in a TT and working remotely. It’s not selfish to feel
The way you do, we have to take care of our mental health and we cannot stop living for ourselves, our parents have lived full lives and we can devote time to them when we are able, but we should never feel guilty for doing the best we can, we have to find stability and balance and live our life. So, take a deep breath and realize that you are giving your best and do what makes you feel good, take care of you! Enjoy your international travels, stay safe and God bless. ❤

I hear what you are saying about being wanting to travel and not staying in one place for too long and how you feel guilty about it but you shouldn’t feel guilty because I don’t think your parents would want you to feel that way. As for the glasses, believe me I know the feeling. I’m wearing mine right now just to be able to type and read what I’m typing. LOL. Getting older is not for the weak. LOL. I hope all goes well for you and as I always say, when you do get back to travelling, please take it easy and stay safe. Sending you blessings from across the pond.

I hope by opening up helped you. Maybe you can set up some sort of a commute where you get outside the city and go back and forth for visits, and be never really far in the event of an emergency. Now i don't know Florida so i don't know if that's a possibility. I know the feeling you're in , I'm in a similar situation, I'm where i need to be but i fear ill never get to where i need to be, i still don't know where that is lol. Yes we definitely feel emotions lol.

Thank you for you kind suggestion. I am in a campground 15 minutes from my parents. I would love to be out West but this is where I need to be. It is comforting to know that you are in a similar situation. It is just part of life. When my brother visits my parents for a few weeks, I can travel. Also, my daughter is having a baby and I will definitely go to Nevada when she is due. Emotions are just part of life. You have to allow them to pass through you.

I would totally go find some other campgrounds to venture in while you are in Florida... And keep on going on those hikes!
It sounds like you're near future you're going to be having a blast and yes I absolutely think you should go live when you get to the destination you were talking about what was it ...Sweden ? I already forgot haha! Good God I feel like Dory the blue little fish in finding Nemo sometimes with my memory what the heck...🤪
Hey don't feel guilty.. you are human.. nature should be everybody's mantra there's no doubt about it..

Alright your favorite poster is back. 😉
What I am going to tell you, applies to me as well. It's not about you, it's not about your comfort blanky, those damn dogs, it's not about me.
What it's about is there are people and in this case your parents that need you. Quit looking at yourself and your problems you have. Be there for them. They won't be here much longer. If their minds are fresh by all means don't leave them to deal with all this alone.
Thank God for your health, and you are a good looking lady, you're smart, and you have a lot of things going for you.
You seem to get along with people. Perhaps they can use your friendship. Be strong. Be brave. Be content. If you can, be happy.
Do you have old friends to talk to? Not about you but friends to share, to laugh with, to do things together?
    Maybe watch a funny show?
Sometimes you have to put things in the rear view mirror as you drive away and those problems are left behind or you will lose your sanity.

I wasn't happy that you got a tick bite. As humans we discount the fact that we do get parasites and they are the cause of most of the sickness in our bodies. HCQ has quite an effect on them.
This will make you happy. I found a dog in here, in fact right behind me that I like. It's a small ugly bull type of dog but it literally looks like a mob crime boss. Just put a black hat, dark glasses on him and a cigar in its mouth and it's a gangster. It is actually mellow. Good night girl.
