Mrs H flowers have the magical effect of putting us in a great mood.
That was a classic shave! I bought the TOBS Grapefruit after watching one of your videos a few years ago and I don't regret it one bit. As a matter of fact, I will return to it in a future shave, because it's such a nice scent and lathers beautifuly. The Gillette fat handle Tech is such an easy rider of a razor. Feels comfortable and safe, as all vintage Gillettes.

Razor was my Parker Variance with a rose colour handle. Slade was a Derby Platinum. The soap was TOBS grapefruit. The brush was a DS cosmetic 24mm smoke knot with a red handle. Aftershave Clubman Pinaud Citrus Musk and balm was Proraso White.
I like a mix and match shave let's me use some of the extra items I have in my den.

Nice one Paul, shame about the dud blade but it does happen even with high-end blades. 👍 no shave today for me, my razor slipped out of my hand and cut right under the nose I'll wait until Sunday before attempting under the nose should be well-heeled by then as I do recover quickly from cuts normally.

Nicely done Paul🪒🪒 TOBS Grapefruit is unique in the shave soap world, real as it gets. I have the same razor, came in a case with instructions, hardly used I think and shaves like new. Gorgeous flowers thanks to Mrs H as always, just beautiful. SOTD: B&M "Leviathan" soap/splash/EDT, Grizzly Bay custom badger brush, Timeless "Bronze" razor w/Personna Lab Blue blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...glorious. Hello Paul great shave! I join in your thanks to Mrs Humphrey beautiful bouquet that must smell great in the bathroom. I admire the way you handle different cameras, and I know that's not all. I had half grapefruit this morning and it was delicious. I prefer white grapefruit over the red one, but they are hard to come by. So when I seen them at the grocery store the other I picked me up a couple.

Paul this might be my favorite shave of yours. You're using all of the heavy hitters. I absolutely love TOBS (although I don't particularly care for the scent of grapefruit), I love a good vintage Gillette, and I adore Polo aftershaves and colognes. I recently started becoming a daily shaver and I use the TOBS Eton College soap and Polo Black aftershave (although I use it sparingly due to its discontinuation). I love the scent of Polo Red so I think that'll be my next purchase once I run low on the Black. Wishing you, Mrs. H., and the cats all the best.

You are showing some wounds from your tussels with Millie. SOTD was the Merica razor with a 3rd. use Voshkod. Some baby oil preshave. Stirling Pumpkin Spice. Love grapefruit. Will have to try that at some point. Thayers Lavender witch hazel. Cologne was Aqua DiGio one of my favorites. Take care.
Happy Hump Day. I don't find the Big Ben blades work quite as well for me as the other blades do. My SOTD is: Aylsworth Kopparkant razor with Gillette 7 o'clock black, AKA Brushworks with synthetic 26mm knot, Zingari Man The Royal soap and splash.
A wonderful Tech shave, Paul. The Tech is a smooth & mild yet very efficient razor which still benchmarks today's mild razors imho. SOTD - GSC/Swiss Fatguy (4,3,2), Astra SP blade, Art of Shaving Sandalwood soap, Peaceful Bee Skin Calming Elixir AS, Davidoff Cool Water balm. Have a good week. See you for the Sunday shave.

Beautiful flowers! It must be Wednesday! A more natural and enjoyable DE shave than the last one. I assume when you'll retire that Big Ben blade after one use since it wasn't as smooth as others you've used. I also enjoy shaving creams because they are easy to smear on my face for a quick face lather. Have a relaxing and productive rest of the week.
I just picked up a Gold Tech a week ago and will use it tomorrow for the first time. I don't know what shaving cream I will use yet though.
You should try the U.S army one from Gillette
Great shave Paul, Tobs Grapefruit is a great scent and realistic, big ben blades I have tried the bloody awful like having a shave with a blunt blade to me, Pomegranate smells as it tastes another balm to look out for in future I'm on a no buy sabbatical at the moment 😂 take care and enjoy the rest of your week 😀👍
