Splendid shave Paul. Here is a comment re your subscriber with the shaving problems (redness, bumps, ingrown hairs, etc.). It was about 8 years ago when I had a check-up with my dermatologist and he commented on some redness, etc. He urged my to adopt a best practice before bed each evening, i.e., using a night cream after washing my face with a facial soap. He suggested CeraVe but noted there are others. on the market. The night cream creates a barrier for the skin. I have had no problems with any of these issues since that time. In the last year, I have switched from CeraVe to Eucerin night cream, which is working perfectly at a much better price point. Finally, using your style of shaving (thank you) it has also become my practice to use a blade not more than 5 times and trying to flip it over with each shave. One last thing, is that I avoid soaps, and balms containing the chemical triethanolamine...seems to produce the symptoms suffered by your subscriber. I hope this helps.
By the way (BTW), Mrs. K and I enjoyed our trip/cruise around the British Isles with some stops in Ireland as well. Thanks for your encouragement and maybe, next time around, we'll work toward having a beer together along with our brides. Shetland Soap Co was kind enough to send the Norseman and Alamootie soaps to our hotel in London. I concur with your findings that these are terrific soaps...nice scents, superior lather, yet most importantly, their cause is sublime...we may get to Lerwick on our next trip north.

In Canada we have a dish called scalloped potatoes but they’re cut in disks and layered with butter spices, onions, and milk,then they’re baked, thickened with corn starch, then cheese is added and broiled to crisp up the top

Tried floris once, never again, smells great but only lasts 5 minutes, considering how much you have to pay for it.

I just bought a new razor, an Edwin Jagger de89l that came with a feather blade. I also bought some proraso red shaving soap so I'll be having a good shave soon.

Paul, have you ever experimented with 'corking' a blade? I had a Geofatboy vid recommended and it was about corking blades.

I’ve grown quite fond of Dear Barber and their line of shave products! Just picked up the shave oil and the EDT! I already have the shave cream and the post shave balm. The scent is outstanding. Mrs. H is on top of her game as usual! Have a good rest of the week!😊

Good morning Paul. I have the Elite version of that soap. I use the underside of the puk and use it like a shave stick, rubbing it on my wet stubble then face lather. Keeps everything dry and pristine.

I used Macduffs new v5 soap tonight. Market Place is the name of the scent and it's a lovely lemon forward scent. A tatara blade in a rockwell 6c and that made for a great shave. A great vid as always Paul. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

The person commenting about getting redness and later bumps or ingrown hairs, I could not find when checking the comments in the previous two videos. To know what details he gave would be nice and useful for other commenters to give advice.
Any of you guys had a horrible shave lately? I nicked myself a few times and gave myself a good slice yesterday morning. I’m a seasoned wet shaver and it still happens.
