Seeing the Jag in 88, probably the Mazda in 91 ,fabulous sound, enjoyed the Uneo Clinic McLarens win in the rain, Bentley, Peugeot the 919s, many happy memories, off again tommorow 6th June, nice that the 963s include a privateer car.
the incredible fight between Audi and Peugeot in 2011, the sole remaining Audi having to deal with the entire Pug team, it was a spectacle supreme - much like this great video!
Agree, but those Porsche´s define also the racing driver´s in those times, Bell, Stuck, Bellof, Schuppen and Ickx, among others in the competition/client teams.Thank you.
In a world full of tension and stress, this channel brings joy. My daughter and I met Tiff at Goodwood FOS in 2014. I’m sure we were irritating, but he was a consummate GENTLEMAN. As kind in person as he is on screen. THANK YOU!
Tiff was and is a great racing driver, I always love the sense of humour with Derek Bell a true LeMans legend, so nice to see them all together in legendary cars, 😍and a post from love cars, thought you had gone.
Proud to have seen all the 956s and 962s at Le Mans over the years and it remains my favourite race car. Love the looks, sound and what they achieved. This is a great video with some of the greatest drivers of perhaps the greatest era. Excellent!
Really enjoyed that. Group C were the perfect mix of raw machines with beautiful design. Would love to hear more from each of the drivers and delighted that you got to experience it too Paul.
😊🙏 World Sportcar Championship Group-C Rothmans Porsche 956 & 962C in the 1980s were the Supermarine Spitfires of Racing Cars as they were both Championship Winning Cars & they are still incredible handsome looking Racers indeed! 🌷🌿🌍💜🕊🇩🇪🇬🇧
I watch this because all of the legendary racers, but the presenter is awfull. He starts with getting the year of Tiff's car wrong, he states Lauda had his crash in '75. It's just a disgrace to the drivers having this guy interviewing them.
amazing @lovecarsTV if you wany to gain viewers, maybe bring some simple car guy like me along to experience Caterhams, or race cars with you. The driver (me) could feel and relate it to your audience from a parallel perspective.
What's your favourite Le Mans memory?
Being there when Jag won in 88

Besides the 917 era? Any time any Porsche won. There's no better sports cars in the world on the track or streets
2000. First one i watched. I was 12 and tried to watch the entire thing.
Tiff is every bit of a legend to me as the other drivers. And they're all total legends.
Group C monsters like the Porsche 956 and 962 were the cars that defined motor racing in the 80's.
Agree, but those Porsche´s define also the racing driver´s in those times, Bell, Stuck, Bellof, Schuppen and Ickx, among others in the competition/client teams.Thank you.
Stuck was a madman on the track in his days of touring cars..
Love seeing Tiff again!
Finally, the best TH-cam channel is back

Met Derek Bell at a hotel in France during a Le Mans race weekend a few years ago and he was a real gentleman and happy to be photographed with us.
Tiff is an animal!
Why on Earth would you play music over Tiff and the 956 engine?
Because he was emotionally mumbling
Stop the music😢
That was absolutely brilliant guys and what an experience. Just amazing. Brilliant video.
Proud to have seen all the 956s and 962s at Le Mans over the years and it remains my favourite race car. Love the looks, sound and what they achieved. This is a great video with some of the greatest drivers of perhaps the greatest era. Excellent!
Group C was my favorite form of auto racing. I was sad when it disappeared, but I've latched on to WRC! 😊
Seeing tiff in the 962 brought a tear to my eye!!! Both him and that beautiful machine are true legends. Cheers!
Great film...very jealous ! I was there to see Jonny Herbert win in the Mazda 787B. Special times !
Finally a new episode! Missed you guys so much.
Awesome to see my hero's from back in the day (including the car) celebrating the 40. Less talking and more driving Needles!
Imagine launching a full channel, with high quality content like this!
Peple keep forgeting, Tiff is actually quite the star. Apart from Le MAns, he also raced in Formula 1.
I was fortunate to sit in Derek Bell's Lowenbrau 962C at Al Holbert's shop back in the 80s.
Really enjoyed that. Group C were the perfect mix of raw machines with beautiful design. Would love to hear more from each of the drivers and delighted that you got to experience it too Paul.
Amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it
Whaat a Video!!! What is really mind blowing that the Drivers are even more Legendary then this Alian cars.
It's a shame that Holbert, Wolleck and Bellof aren't here to celebrate this.
Love Stuck. (And Tiff too).
Emotion, thank you
Why blur out the Castrol and shoei badges.?
It was for the TV item and we used it here too
@@lovecarsTV yeah but why blur it why driving and not blur it when he gets out of the car??
You haven't posted anything for so long that I actually forgot that this channel exists. Are you back, or will the next upload be around Christmas? 😆
We've got lots of content to come! 👍
Fabulous, simply fabulous 🙏👏
Doesnt get much better than this..
I do feel a little sad that it can’t have the Rothmans branding on it, even as a museum piece
There was at least one car in Rothmans branding. They ran with Racing logos at some races in period. So that livery was authentic
Cant like this content enough, thanks lads, fantastic you got a go too!
Really like the comment about the white line becoming a solid white stripe over 370 kmh
How cool is that?!?!?!
😎
The Dream Drive of a Lifetime 😮🤨😎
I've built several Porsche group C racecars.......1/24 scale of course.
Legend 👍💪
Yes Paul we all know Tiff is VASTLY OVERRATED.
Only joking he's an *ABSOLUTE LEGEND*
🙌
Und STEPHAN BELLOF ❤
Unfortunately we lost Bellof and Winkelhock in these cars . Amazing Drivers….
Jackie Ickx is a Porsche legend as well, but no mentioning about him?
😊🙏 World Sportcar Championship Group-C Rothmans Porsche 956 & 962C in the 1980s were the Supermarine Spitfires of Racing Cars as they were both Championship Winning Cars & they are still incredible handsome looking Racers indeed! 🌷🌿🌍💜🕊🇩🇪🇬🇧
How come Richard Lloyd racing never gets a mention?
I remember Derek Bell on Top Gear Rally reports of the RAC Rally late 80's. He wasn't a rally driver thats for sure😂
Heaven
Tiff's Porsche had two gear sticks that day
Wholly white lines Batman @ the 10:00 mark !
Everybody knows these are Shoei and Castrol logos. You don't have to blur them.
Millions of dollars worth of LeMans automotive royalty. Wow.
TIFF IS THE BEST!
❤ Toyota Corolla GR❤
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥂🥂👍🏾👍🏾✌🏾✌🏾
917 first victory
Paul driving a PDK porsche race car
Probably should have invited Jacky Ickx to drive his car… Unbelievable.
9:05 what did he say ?
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THE CARS DON'T LOOK ALIKE! END OF THE ERA.
Lovely engine sounds. Sadly drowned out by an orchestra. Shame.
Thought this channel had died
I wonder if Tesla team would be able to race
Who is the grinning berk asking the questions who seems to know nothing about the cars or drivers?
...and suddenly, Mr Niddell gets uncomfortable in his pants
Wouldn't you be the same?!
@@lovecarsTV touché
I hate when the presenter can’t get basic history or the models/year of each car correct. Pathetic….
I watch this because all of the legendary racers, but the presenter is awfull. He starts with getting the year of Tiff's car wrong, he states Lauda had his crash in '75. It's just a disgrace to the drivers having this guy interviewing them.
Should have gotten that Dauer 94 car there too.

Worst presenter ever.
