Mr.Mass was one of my favorite sports car drivers.He's won at Sebring and LeMans.He deserves more recognition.He and Jacky Ickx were among my favorite sports car drivers.These two men survived a dangerous era.Mr.Oliver's had his share of success.He deserves better recognition as well.
Brabham was a jolly good driver and possibly in those days F1driving was not as demanding as in the late70es.I don't honestly remember of Surtees' results when he was both team owner and driver. As for the Arrow team, if memory serves right the A2/A3 were full ground effect projects which meant a big extra effort was required from the drivers to master the car. I guess J.Oliver made a wise choice giving up driving and starting to focuse on team management instead.

The 1973 German G.P.was at The 'Ring.Jackie finished either 7th or 8th.
It would've been nice,if they had discussed sports car racing in the good old days.
Mr.Oliver said that he wouldn't drive his own cars.Why was Sir Jack Brabham successful,as opposed to,John Surtees?
Good question. What Brabham achieved often over-looked. I think part of it was that Brabham was such a good driver.
