    As someone who went from shorties to long tubes, get a nice set of LTs. Deeper note, and definitely felt it in the B.D. havent had a chance to tune it yet though.

    Other than the yellow brake rotors with red badges and the scat pack steering wheel on a non scat pack that is a gorgeous car. Those wheels with the pitch black car looks great

      Good catch! I've since removed that rubber steering wheel cover. Might change the red R/T emblem to yellow now that you mention it. I feel like red calipers on a black car is overdone, plus the Jeep usually has yellow brembos no matter the exterior color.

      No they aren't bro, there's maybe a 3-5 horsepower difference between long tubes and short tubes virtually unnoticeable

    The Tx and Rx are transmit and receive. It appears that the box is designed to communicate with other equipment. Maybe multiple wideband boxes, daisychained?

    I think it’s because you can advance more degrees of timing…it will then want a higher octane and fuel flow. It’s odd but I get knocking at 89 octane. I have to be at 91 minimum on my RT.

    Get a long tube headers and tune up on higher octane and I guarantee you will be able to make 390+

    So, by 89 tune, do you mean to be tuned for 89 octane and run 89 octane or is it be tuned for 89 octane, but run 91+ octane?

    Also compare your last dyno run with stock manifold to 6.4 manifold you did a lot of gains throughout the whole band but up top you should of had more

      doesnt require a valve spring upgrade, works as well as a 270 cam. works pretty well without a tune, but of course the tune simply makes it much much better

    Wow, that's pretty good power for a 392 cam and intake on 5.7. I bet with a premium (91 or 93 octane) dyno tune and long tube headers you'd make another 25 hp.

      The first two runs were with the 92 octane tune, it didn't like it. The 5.7 doesn't have as high of compression as a 6.4- which would benefit from the higher octane.

      I use 93oct. You probably losing hp because jaygreen didn't tune the vvt

      Yeah, it's still an OEM 392 camshaft and a factory bottom end. I looked up R/T life and he has similar mods and similar numbers (last year)with a factory non-LSD rear. This one has a 3.70 lsd that will affect the peak numbers. Still a fun car with the two major mods being a cam and intake.

      Yeah, they are set to open at 4800 RPM.

      @@neverenuff2381 on stock 392 I think they open at around 3500. Your ride is good though. There is a rough dip on a stock 392 when they open but your curve was nice and pretty smooth

      It's a OEM 392 cam, not made for peak power.

      You need to lock the VVT with phase
      lock to gain correct hp gains from cam

    I think u need to get an actual dyno tune because that doesn’t reflect anything good I have LT headers and intake manifold and stock cam and put down 372 trust me tune Is off just get dyno tune.

      I don't have anyone out here that tunes Hemis- to my knowledge. I've been using JG and the car is still in one piece. Man, I could use longtubes though...

      He might be seeing better number if he had longtubes. Pretty sure he just had shorty headers. That’s probably where he is losing a lot of top end hp.

    Them 3 runs was of the 92 octane tune and 89 octane tune comparisons you didn’t get a ported stock manifold and 392 manifold comparison you gained a lot low

      Yeah, it definitely gained throughout the rpm band, picked up torque but no so much hp at the peak. The 392 manifold is mildly ported. Again, this thing is designed for larger displacement motors (392). But it's nice to see gains for us 5.7 guys out there.

      @@neverenuff2381 I started watching your videos about the Holley but itbwasca bust. That is nice to know so I don't waste money on one. I was really wanting to see what the Holly did on the rollers though. That active 392 is going to be hard to beat for actual drivability though

      It is an older car (first year of the redesign). If you like getting passed by V6 Mustangs in your 5.7 go for it, I personally enjoy modding to see what's left on the table. Thanks for watching though!

    @neverenuff :Is the 392 intake part number 68190715AC which its lists for scat pack but not 392. The intake manifold part number 68190715AB was listed for 392 2011-2018 but is out of stock everywhere but the one you bought was part number68190715AC for sure??

      Scat Pack and SRT 392 have the same intake manifolds with respective years. The Mopar p/n 68190715AC is the one I ordered from Tucson Mopar Parts back in July, 2020. Their number is 520-745-7923 | parts@tucsonmoparparts.com. I waited a few weeks to receive mine but I knew it wasn't from a blown motor- no metal inside the ports. Good luck, it is a worthy mod.
