A holy grail war where Shirou summons bloody Optimus prime is the type of crack fic I need.
I just want a Fate anime in the same setting at Stay Night but instead of servants it's just autobots and decepticons and instead of the holy grail it's the matrix
If FGO ever did crossovers, I could see an event where the autobots and Decepticons ended up in a lostbelt and we had to help stop the Decepticons.
I can think of a few ideas:
-Instead of summoning servants, it's transformers instead(bit of an easy idea but could work since it would be character vs character instead of team vs team, unless they make it Apocrypha style.)
-Some of the servants are turned into transformers by the allspark to combat the decepticons(perhaps a bit cursed if thinked about long enough but not entirely a bad idea. Though, I think servants can stand up to transformers pretty fine.)

Animated Season 4 Megatron helmet is inspired by Hannibal. Both badass and disturbing head design for someone who broke was breaking out of jail with the aid from The Animated Stunticons
I love how they essentially made motormaster the leader but wildrider was really the Mastermind. That was a nice touch.
Just to note: Most of the episodes we were getting for Animated S4 are only ideas that the writers had on the board and subject to changes during Animated’s run. What we know of S4 now could have been different had S4 actually been made in 2009-2010.

Honestly if season 4 got made the only thing I hoped would be changed would be Ironhide replacing Bulkhead, as replacing a beloved main character just to tie in with the stupid bayverse movies would have been a real boneheaded move.
Being that the show was based on how well the individual action figures were selling first and foremost, I can understand how attention to detail wasn't a huge priority.
How awesome it would have been for animated to introduce kids to shattered glass.
10:00 The 13 Primes predate the aligned continuity, the idea has existed as far back as 2004 where they were mentioned in the ultimate guide, as well as being mentioned throughout fun publication's comic runs. However, The Aligned continuity was the first time we had a full confirmed roster for every member of the 13 primes.
The first I knew of the 13 was of vector prime. Cybertron/Galaxy force.
It was originally seven but it was changed to 13. Aligned really messed it up and forced them in without properly introducing nor building them up. They also removed Logos Prime. It’s a neat concept but the execution was terrible.
@@ironrex6979 The 7 Primes was a Bayverse decision, the Thirteen Prime predate that being mentioned in 2004's Transformers The Ultimate Guide and latter being expanded upon in the Fun pub comics in 2005, both of which predate any mention of 7 Primes as far as I am aware. However while the number was always 13 not all primes were known.

Some theorize that Logos Prime & Amalgamous Prime are one in the same, or that Logos is a version of Amalgamous Prime due to both having the ability to take on seemingly any form they want. Though their stories don't exactly align with each other.
That last part with planet x being Unicron could be used for very interesting stories. It would explain why most alien lifeforms come to earth, because their planet was devoured, he is on a path to eat their world and are just evacuating to earth, or a neat way to just have him explained in the universe rather than some machine with God powers like his origin in the g1 cartoon or being the earth itself.

As a G1 fan I appreciate this. It's almost like Transformers has its own language/culture to where it's quite possible to be left in the dark on alot of things. I stopped collecting in '87 and picked it back up 30 yrs later so I'm a little behind.
The one thing I loved about the Combiners Wars show was seeing Optimus Prime wield Megatron in gun form

Bro you need to do talk about Superlink one of these days, all the characters are cooler, the atmosphere gets intense and I'm only on episode 11 and Starscream just disintegrated Galvatron with his gun/blade thing and the latter regenerated his entire body like nothing, dudes like Aizen but he fights like Sigma this shows insane, like the vibes *completely* different I can't believe no one (aside from Protoman) talks about this
One note, Death's Head was actually printed in a one page Marvel UK story prior to him appearing in Transformers UK. This let Marvel keep ownership on him instead of having him belong to Hasbro. This is the same way the US comics put Circuit Breaker in the ir Secret Wars II comic prior to her appearing in the US Marvel Transformers run. Another fun note, Death's Head also crossed over with Doctor Who, which is where he was shrunk down from Transformer sized to human size. Not the only Doctor Who connection with Transformers. The UK series had a character Decepticon with a Dalek alt mode named Octus, though it's more implied then shown

Omni Productions also dubbed Super God Masterforce and Victory in addition to Headmasters, but they actually got dubbed before Headmasters did despite originally being made after. Also, the Omni dubs would eventually see official releases in Europe and Australia after Sunbow bought the rights to the dubs, but they didn't get officially released in North America because Hasbro was concerned about their quality. Also, there's a whole "out of context" account on Twitter dedicated to these dubs so feel free to check that out.

40:40 as I understand it, the game devs only got the rough outline of the game's plot as well as the characters appearing in it. This is fairly common for tie in games. For example, the devs of the 007 Quantum of Solace game decided to throw in most of Casino Royale's plot as flashback levels due to how little they actually knew about the movie's story save for a few key plot points.

I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned this but @17:40 the purple seeker is named Hotlink and the blue one is named Bitstream, while Ion Storm (who also happens to be blue) and Nova Storm (who is a searing yellow) are not seen until later episodes along side Acid Storm as the Seeker unit the Rainmakers as you stated later on in the video.
So Geewun is pretty much the Transformers equivalent to A Genwunner in Pokémon.

I also like G1, Prime, Cyberverse, Combiner Wars trilogy, and Japan’s transformers continuity. Oh WfC duology and Devastation! It’s tragic we never got continuations for them.

I never heard of that before I remember when the movie came out it was mixed. Fun movie but the critics hated it. I thought Dark Moon had the worse depiction.
@@ironrex6979 I forgot to put in a disclaimer that it's just my personal opinion. Personally I loved ROTF, it even gave me my favorite song New Divide. But still, the "give me your face" Prime really started in that movie. Every time he interacted with a Decepticon he brutalizes them. Compare that to the 07 film where, like, the only Decepticons he interacted with were Bonecrusher and Megatron. Yeah he killed Bonecrusher but come on, it's way tamer than even Scavenger, and that one's also tame compared to even the Forest Battle in ROTF. Heck, Megatron was the one who brutalized him in the 07 film. But yeah, FaceTimus Prime was only truly born in ROTF, even before the face moment
@@jvbutalid8316 You bring up a good point. I still enjoy TF 2007 & TF RotF movies, however I think ever since the first movie Optimus was depicted as brutally violent with the Bonecrusher scene. I always treated the live action verse as it’s own thing but I think Dark Moon Jumped the gun. That was when I realized this wasn’t Optimus. The rest of the movies after that (AOE, TLK, RotB) sort of toned him down back to 2007/RotF self but yeah he is still off. Well at least we got Bumblebee movie out of it.

To be honest I'm surprised you didn't mention the DS live action games. If feel that the Decepticon version of the 2007 game deserves a mention, since that game has a completely different story line. The Decepticons have personality and interact with each other, hell, Starscream is the final boss in that game!

Hey, the algorithm sent me here. My knowledge of Transformers was basically Beast Wars and Weird Al (who somehow was never mentioned in this??) and I thought this was an incredibly informative and entertaining video. That's a hard needle to thread, keep it up!

actually, I can't remember who but you can look it up (I'm lazy) someone working on the film recently confirmed that Cyclonus is Skywarp, this is backed up because the bombshell that was in that scene has been confirmed to just be a clone, the same with the other insecticons in that scene, you can even see those same insecticons in the coronation scene.
I actually just rewatched the 86 film with my friend last weekend and noticed them there. Didn’t realize they were there. Though that could just be an animation error. Regardless Skywarp is my headcannon

You know who else can be seen at that Coronation? Skywarp. And everyone else who got reformatted for that matter- they probably animated the scenes out of order and in earlier drafts of the film none of them got reformatted (instead the life sparks of ancient Decepticons were used).
Oh, and the storyboards specified Bombshell became Cyclonus and although those aren't always reflective of the final film it kinda shows what the intent was. And what's so bad about being Cyclonus' Armada anyway?
@@jetshot2218 actually those characters are the rainmakers and hotlink, they look similar to skywarp and thundercracker but hotlink has way more purple than skywarp and one of the rainmakers is slightly darker than thundercracker. So no you're still wrong, and that storyboard stuff is mainly going to be an outline of the scene, but the plot always implied for skywarp to be cyclonus especially since the insecticons are also in season 3 of g1.
@@flamedude6849 Yeah... no, they're pretty clearly Thundercracker and Skywarp. They look nothing like Ion Storm and Hotlink anyway (who were only generics in 1986 anyway). They probably animated the scenes out of order, and were possibly affected by earlier drafts of the film where none of them got reformatted (instead the life sparks of ancient Decepticons were used, and Thundercracker and Skywarp die in Unicron's attack).
As for the Insecticons being in season 3- the same thing with the early drafts also applies, plus AKOM aren't exactly known for the quality of their work. They aren't the only dead characters to turn up in Season 3.
Oh, and the plot doesn't care who Cyclonus used be. He's just Cyclonus, and at no point is the fact that he used to be another character ever brought up in the G1 cartoon.
Ah yes Scorponok's weird baby ... some evidence that James Roberts has a thing that's probably been there since he wrote Eugenesis. Though I'm surprised that Eugenesis isn't on here as it kind of serves as an origin of several parts of More Than Meets the Eye and Lost Light like Star Saber being evil and Rung.
