One small correction for the video in the segment of adjusting the height of the wheel base on this sim rig. It is totally possible since there are two side panels, one on each side that hold the main plate for the base. I apologise for the mistake and just wanted to note this so you don't get the wrong idea about the base and the wheel. This means that what I said about the base having the Quick Release position too high and not being able to adjust everything on PlaySeat F1 Ultimate Edition is wrong. It is totally possible. Again, my apologies. I will try next time to avoid these silly and totally unnecessary mistakes from my side so I can bring more accurate reviews and benchmarks. Thank you!

@ Java I pray that Logitech release an F1 wheel soon. Although, I gave up hope and am going Fanatec. 1 wheel and no accessories isn’t good enough.
@@grahamkelly8662 yea bro I got mine immediately on release and still nothing is out, I’m going to a different brand altogether as well. I plan on leaving this wheel for my old PC in case friends come over
The pedals are rock solid and heavy no need for all metal.
Only the pedal base stand is plastic all the rest of the pedals are metal,had my wheel pedals and adaptor since their launches with zero issues,like most other owners tired now of waiting for other wheels to launch it seems crazy they never launched on release a F1 wheel too.
The fact that I could use this if I ever get a Playstation is why it's on my list. Plus I've been using a G29 for years and really need to upgrade.

Thank you great review, lots of detail! Showing the travel of the wheel paddles helped me as other reviews did not. I will use them as brake/throttle.

you mention the brake not being as stiff as you would prefer, did you use the stiffer elastomers, or just what was shipped inside? the other elastomers do signifcally stiffen and shorten the pedal travel.
You can tell by the travel distance that he didn’t change the elastometers. I have these pedals, the brake moves way less with the stiff elastometers all the way pressed
He said that he didn’t try them, which is a pretty ridiculous.
would you recommend those pedals, over the Fanatec V3 ?

Hi, I’m at 16.24 and you mention that because of the big wheelbase, it raised the wheel quite a bit higher, on your rig. I have the gt omega Titan cockpit and a Logitech g29. If I buy this new Logitech g pro direct drive, do you know if it will be much higher then my g29 on my rig? Or if it’s possibly the same height? This is a big deal for me, because right now, my cockpit don’t really have adjustability to lower wheel and it’s just about ok for me but I’m worried that if I buy Logitech g pro, it may be too high for me. What ya think? I was planing on buying gt omega Prime cockpit, because that has full adjustability. Wheel can move forward, backwards and up and down. Only problem is, I didn’t want to buy the new cockpit, till end of 2024.

I swapped my G29 for the G Pro and just installed it on my Omega GT Art cockpit. I did not have to move my rig height at all.
Is anyone using this wheel attached to a desk and if so how does it perform...have looked at the playseat trophy but not sure about the wheel being so high

I think you should get the Fanatec DD1. The amount of custimisation of Fanatec's eco system is insane. You get way more options. Please don't get the logitech wheel.

I waited months for the Fanatec DD wheel to be in stock. Gave up and bought the Pro. No regrets. YMMV. I race in VR so the only wheel I see is what the car has equipped. I'm sure new wheels are on the way. No hurry here.

Soooo......I've heard the xbox version will work on Xbox, PC and PS5!?!? While the PS version will only work on PS and PC. Can anyone confirm this?
It’s the reverse. Ps edition will work on ps5, ps4, pc and Xbox only if u get the Xbox wheel on the ps wheel base.
The pricing is so much above the g923 😐
Logitech should have a model with direct drive between the g pro and g923.
Like a g323DD not as strong as the g pro in the same housing as the g923 (and same pedals as the g923).
