If they last as long as Logitechs G29s etc... They'd be a safe bet. The heel plate being plastic for myself is a non issue as you will scratch most if not all heel plates if your grinding a stone into it with your heel, that and the old G29 pedal sets are plastic and I can't ever remember it coming up as an issue before. If does bother some folks just cover it with something. Good Review. Stiffening up the brake pedal was a great point and easy to do if you replace the soft foam with a firmer one.
Cut the remaining elastomer spacer to size and replace the weak polymer one and that should stiffen the initial take up. You can also add washers in the stack as a preload adjustment. This will make it more difficult to reposition the stack into the base though.

Great review and very helpful, I currently have the G29 which I use mainly on PC and this looks like the start of a great upgrade path for me before then getting the wheel base too
The plastic pedal base at this price point is really tacky, but I like that they at least designed these in a way where all the important components can just be removed from the base and mounted to an aftermarket inverted pedalbase or race rig and then it becomes a non-issue but this still seems hard to justify at this price compared to the entry level Moza pedals

Great Wheel and pedals, absolutely amazing. I have not been able to make it work on any of the games I have in Stream. On iRacing though this has to be the best. Great detailed review, thank you! As for that break pedal pretravel, can’t you just replace that PU bit with softest elastomer, or sqeeze two PU bits in there?
Absolutely love these reviews. I’m only a console gamer at the moment, but when I’m ready to take that next step to PC gaming, I’ll definitely be looking at the G Pro ecosystem. Looks good. Hopefully they bring out a range of wheels for all racing types.
As of now there's still no real ecosystem because there's not a single accessory available or even announced. You're still only getting the wheel + the pedals.
I just got mine and discovered that if you place the brake pedal all the way to the left (in the same position as the clutch initially) then the cord is not long enough to connect. I wonder if I can take the elastomer brake cylinder and move it to the clutch and then plug the clutch cord into the brake port. I’m surprised that Logitech made the brake cord so short.
The clutch and heel toe downshifting really needs to be showcased in these reviews. That is huge and nobody seems to show it. Some pedals work well for it and others not. just playing with the throttle and brake....you can buy the cheapest pedals and do fine.
Had mine for a couple of months and they're great .Took quite a bit of adjusting and trying out different hardness of the elastomers but after a week or I was totally used to them and love em.Also dont forget you get feedback thru the pedals as well as the wheel which most ppl have no idea the pedals have true force too
@@PeteV80 Just adds a little immersion as u feel the vibration thru the pedals like when you drive your real car .u feel the engine and u feel tyre wear and rumble strips etc
The pedals do not have true force. You're feeling the vibration only because the wheel base vibrates and this vibration if strong enough can shake the whole rig.
They are smoking crack with their price on this! This is like going to subway for a decent ribeye steak that costs $35 instead of going to a restaurant down the street thats tried and true and getting their proven ribeye for $20. Insanity. Im dumbfounded.
@@impreza0109 yeah. Here in Brazil we dont have fanatec and only a few wheels from thrustmaster. On the other hand we have all products from logitech. So we will have to do with that.
Not really. Fanatec's load cell pedals are around the same exact price range as this. And this is easier to disassemble and more customizeable options for it. I think you are just in denial and you're a Logitech hater is what it is.
From a physics perspective, the "position based" pedals are force sensing by their overall design. The spring makes the position proportional to the force. The load cell really just makes it a more direct/precise measurement.
Simply put yes, but you won't get the same maximum force with most spring pedals and having too much travel of the pedal isn't helping either. There is a reason most racing brakes have almost no pedal travel at all so you can be more consistent with applying the braking force.
Once you switch from linear springs to progressive springs or elastomers you do not have linear force sensing anymore on position based pedals. On the load cell Asatek you also have a load cell, but it is not a load sensing pedal, because the spring is fully linear with no option to switch to progressive, so that is NOT a load sensing pedal despite having a load cell. The logitech and Fanatec pedals are MUCH better in this regard, they are at least fully load sensing, while Asetek is false advertising it`s product.
It's amazing that most people don't seem to understand this. Load cell in practice only has the potential to make it easier to customize the sensation when braking, which can be pointless for some and crucial for others (pointless for me).
@@Gizfreek that is not true at all, watch Random Callsign video when he actually debunked that. Or you can watch Lando Norris pedal cam in his F1 car, it has a longer travel than you think.
I added the bundle to my cart on the Logitech site using your link. The wheel and Pedals. The Pedals are showing (Xbox) tho and I'm buying for PS5. Are the pedals the same as long as you get the PS5 -compatible wheel? I couldn't find any info on that. Cheers for any help.
hey Josh did you put thru the order? I took a chance they'd be compatible. I ordered mine I'm in the UK and just got email today saying pedals have shipped.... PS5 wheel is still processing

So, I’m watching this and I’m kinda lost. I’m new to sim racing and all the technical stuff, goes over my head. I was going to buy these pedals and wheel set. Is this set usable for a noob, straight out of the box? I don’t want to start taking stuff apart and possibly mess up or lose springs etc.
hey man what a great channel, i think the best concerning sim racing set ups. I was wondering which support for wheel/pedals do u use? I saw it was "next level.. something" it seems very solid
Idk if you eventually found out or not but his is a next Level Racing cockpit. I believe the F-GT Elite. Which is second now to the more sturdy F-GT elite 160
Just returned my g pro pedals, bought the simsonn ones instead. They definitely need to be tuned but once set up properly they are amazing. Way above something like the v3 csl and g pro. Plus they’re all metal and come in black and look fantastic. Don’t buy g pro when you can buy simsonn for 150$ish cheaper and much better
Imho its a ripoff of fanatecs V3 and the prise difference is not much , the V3 are just a class higher then this product, better choise , can adjust trottle travel and adjust brake. better finetuning, yes a bit more work . Even the Fanatec V2 has the same idea as this product from logitech. A comparrison would be appreciated.
Nice Review as always :)! But I don't agree that they, or the wheel, look expensive or high quality. I find both looks, I think mainly because of the plastic, relatively cheep. And the wheel looks way to gimmicky, because of the useless triangles, and bulky. And for that cheep (looking) materials, in combination with no additional wheels, no additional features of other expensive pedals (preload, 2-stage clutch...) and the fact that Logitech is a huge company where they make lots of units, and therefore way cheaper then the competition, the price is way to high!
What's the length and width in cm of the whole pedal set? Not sure if it would fit my rig. They could have made it more compact including the controller into the brake pedal or somewhere else.
great review. I am very tempted to buy this with the wheel. But I miss the how to mount the pedals on a rig. I have a PLAYSEAT using Fanatec CSL Elite (gen1) but I can figure how I would those on my PLAYSETA pedals plate. On the fanatec there are threads underneath the pedals that I am using with cut-off on the rig pedals plate. I cant see such Option on the Logitech when pedals are all assembled to the plate. Sorry if that's sounds dumb but how do you achieve this mounting?
I was thinking the same pretty sure you could use cableties through a hole somewhere which is what i did for my inverted t3pas. Im also looking to upgrade i would drop a post on simracing sub reddit see what they say
Withdrew my comment on the price as i got the full bundle for a good price delivered free total £1212.48p and it's a very premium bundle the pedals are loadcell and you do get some spare bits to adjust the pedals with 3 spare USB sockets i am sure more is planned for the G Pro Base the price is in par with the Fanatec DD Pro whole bundle if you include desk clamp too and 3 pedal set and remember this is 11nm not 8nm,new F1 wheel is planned i bet?
when playing on console with these pedals, if i press down on brake pedal and the brake meter doesn't go all the way up, does that mean the brake elements i am using are too stiff?
The only reason I'll go for Logitech when upgrading to Direct Drive is the True Force feature, it actually adds something to the experience. Wish they had a wheel base with 20Nm however.
I like the design very much. I have the Fanatec CS V3, it's overbuilt and underengineered. However, Logitech isn't a boutique manufacturer, they have the manufacturing and design expertise and a global sales network and the economics of scale on their side so I would expect better pricing and I'm a bit dissapointed.
Yeah, I was hoping for a lower price tag too. That $1,000 USD just for the wheel is hard to swallow. If they had managed to do the whole bundle w/pedals for $1k, I'd be all in. You're right about Logitech's economics of scale, but I think at the end of the day, high-end sim racing is pretty niche, so there would probably be only so many of these that are gonna sell, even at a price of $100-200 less.
Can any of you tell me whether or not the softest brake adjustment for the G Pro pedal would give me a similar amount of resistance on par with the "soft first half" of the G29 brake pedal, before you reach that very stiff rubber block? I plan to use this wheel and pedal set on my desk
There are six rubber inserts to customize exactly how stiff you like the pedal. It feels progressive, not at all like the rubber stopper in the G29 pedals. Unscrew those pedals and take that rubber stopper out. The pro pedals aren't magic, there is no feedback like a real car, but they are miles better than the G29 pedals.
I,m playing with my pedals on the carpet and my steering clamped to a wooden tv tray… when the racing gets heated I’m having to reposition the peddles with my feet as it turns sideways and I find myself steering with the dinner tray in the air swinging under the wheel…haha just bought some 2” square tubing and a cheap racing seat off of Amazon so upgrading !! 😂

@@PeteV80 Just adds a little immersion as u feel the vibration thru the pedals like when you drive your real car .u feel the engine and u feel tyre wear and rumble strips etc
Are they loud?
@@scottd7222 No ,not at all.
The pedals do not have true force. You're feeling the vibration only because the wheel base vibrates and this vibration if strong enough can shake the whole rig.
@boostedmedia a bit late to the party but where are those circuits on the wall from? I need them!
They are smoking crack with their price on this! This is like going to subway for a decent ribeye steak that costs $35 instead of going to a restaurant down the street thats tried and true and getting their proven ribeye for $20. Insanity. Im dumbfounded.
Agreed - I'll wait until they don't sell any and maybe buy one at half price or less.
Not all countries have Fanatec or Moza available. In my side of the pond TM is the luxury product and Logitech is the high end
When I saw the wheelbase price, I thought it was a good deal because I also thought it included the pedals. I am not so sure now.
The cost of the pedals is nuts. I have the G Pro ordered but planning on keeping the tlcm pedals from trustmaster to use on PC.
so lets say i just wanted the pedals, i can unhook the g29 pedal from the g29 wheel and plug in the wheel and pro pedals to my pc and use both ?
From a physics perspective, the "position based" pedals are force sensing by their overall design. The spring makes the position proportional to the force. The load cell really just makes it a more direct/precise measurement.
Simply put yes, but you won't get the same maximum force with most spring pedals and having too much travel of the pedal isn't helping either. There is a reason most racing brakes have almost no pedal travel at all so you can be more consistent with applying the braking force.
Yep from a purely technical perspective that’s right.
So around this price point what pedals would you prefer
i like drifting i haven't really tried racing yet might have to give it a shot great content!!
Thanks great presentation very informative and really helps to get a new owner getting up to speed.
The pedals are universal since you have to plug them into the base in order to use them on a console. So yes, you can use them on PS5.
Best help you’ll get… don’t spend your money on this lol
hey Josh did you put thru the order? I took a chance they'd be compatible. I ordered mine I'm in the UK and just got email today saying pedals have shipped.... PS5 wheel is still processing
Hey Will! Not related to the review - is your screen really high? Looks super uncomfortable! Sorry if its been answered earlier ha
We run a projector for shooting these reviews on our test rig to make filming a little more practical. Its not too high, It's just a large projection area (about 120 inches).
@@boostedmedia I love that you came back with a massive flex, haha! Love your work mate.
Be great to see a pleb like me get sent a wheel and pedals to compare it to a 923 that l have. Never used anything but logitech gear for my racing and have always loved the durability and ease of use. Really happy logitech have bought out another quality wheel. Looking forward to trying it.
These or the cammus lc100? Around the same price in Brazil
Thanks for the video
I was wondering how u feel these pedals stack up against something like Thrustmasters TLCM’s or Fanatecs CSL’s with loadcell
Just received from the Gamesmen an email offering these pedals for sale
Love the fact that they can be reconfigured, clutch would get put in a box in a minute.
Do you have plans for reviewing the new Logitech Racing adaptor? 😊
Even Logitech has a DD now. What do you say to that Thrustmaster? We're waiting...
Is there a wheel stand you can reccomend for someone that needs to place this on carpet? I find it super hard to find good info
Why didn't you add spring to brake peddle like for accelerator?
Nice Review as always :)! But I don't agree that they, or the wheel, look expensive or high quality. I find both looks, I think mainly because of the plastic, relatively cheep. And the wheel looks way to gimmicky, because of the useless triangles, and bulky. And for that cheep (looking) materials, in combination with no additional wheels, no additional features of other expensive pedals (preload, 2-stage clutch...) and the fact that Logitech is a huge company where they make lots of units, and therefore way cheaper then the competition, the price is way to high!
How do they compare to the Fanatec CSL Elite V2
what about a game like ACC where you need to brake 100% initially?
What's the length and width in cm of the whole pedal set? Not sure if it would fit my rig. They could have made it more compact including the controller into the brake pedal or somewhere else.
Its on the logitech website.
As long as there isn't any flex in the pedal plate I don't see an issue with it being plastic..
FINALLY NO POTENCIOMETERS, F*** FINALLY, thank you for this Deep review
great review.
I just got the Fanatec Clubsport V3.
My g920 pedals have that potentiometer issue on my brake and gas pedal and it sucks do these not have the same issue abt a year later?
when playing on console with these pedals, if i press down on brake pedal and the brake meter doesn't go all the way up, does that mean the brake elements i am using are too stiff?
Do you see these being a inverted pedal set?
Boosted Media’s videos slowed down to 0.75x speed are so much better.
The only reason I'll go for Logitech when upgrading to Direct Drive is the True Force feature, it actually adds something to the experience. Wish they had a wheel base with 20Nm however.
20nm sounds absurd lol 😂 why haha do you do this for fitness?
Any update on these working with the G29?
I like the design very much. I have the Fanatec CS V3, it's overbuilt and underengineered. However, Logitech isn't a boutique manufacturer, they have the manufacturing and design expertise and a global sales network and the economics of scale on their side so I would expect better pricing and I'm a bit dissapointed.
tryna make that money back from the 923.... they really need a new shifter though....
And their customer service is as much use as a chocolate teapot
@@jasper_of_puppets815 for wheel 313 pedals why do you people keep complaining 😂 this guy even gives you a code 😂 come on
I used your code and bought both
is this ok to use with G29 wheels, right? I mean, the conection will be recognized by the G hub together with the oldest wheel?
The Logitech store has an adapter for sale so it's compatible to use with the G29 and G923
@@Loudlevin I'm sorry. I should have specified I was looking at this from a console perspective
Holding out hope that they release a shifter that's actually good.
This product release looks great so far. Not done watching the review yet.
