    There is not a link for the "wall mount", as you have to log into your starlink account and go to the "shop" to order directly from Starlink. There are probably other 3rd party sellers out there for this though, but just search Starlink Wall Mount for "standard version" or gen 3 version (both the same)
    Amazon affiliate links can provide the channel a commission if used to purchase, but at no cost to you.
    Thank you,

    Brian....First of all this is brilliant! I am doing pole mount at the house and hunted everywhere for a worthy pole. I never considered a flag pole...plus it telescopes which should help with all the trees we have!! I can't figure out if this is the high performance or not. I cannot figure out how to set it up. Starlink said I had to "drill holes"! Why would I need to drill holes, when the supposed holder already has bolts and holes. It's so confusing. Too bad we can't reach out to you to walk us through this. Thanks for the great video!!

    This was a great help and thank you for passing the information along, sorry to hear you discovered the pole mount sucks "the hard way" but you've saved me and probably many others from the same fallacy. Hopefully you'll be repaid in positive karma (if you believe in that like I do). Crazy how Starlink skimped on the pole mount thought process, that recess should be at least 4 times as deep!

    Just completed the wall mount to Camco flag pole setup as described here. I can confirm it’s quite sturdy. In addition to the foil tape (3 wraps around), I did drill out to put a bolt through the pole and mount. Thanks for the video and tips!

    This is REALLY COOL, many thanks for sharing your idea. I am curious: is the wall mount 'mast' 1.5" diameter at its thicker point ( above your alu tape?) just like the old standard actuated dish arms were? it looks like it. If so, I can buy this and use it in my current fishing rod holder on my boat. Please let me know . Also curious about the length of that short mast in the wall mount kit, to know how deep it would go in my rod holder. Many thanks

    I have similar, almost, concern. I want to use the wall mount or possibly a different 3rd party all mount. but my concern is the starlink pipe adapter. so I think thinking of using the starling wall mount for that solid connection from dish to power. then try and find an alternative universal pipe adapter to create essentially a longer mast extension than what comes with the starling wall mount. In your case you just took the mask extension into the campco. I want to possible cut the extension, and insert a pipe to create a longer mast extension. Think that might work ?

    Hi Brian-
    I just bought the Gen 3… brand new Starlink user.
    We have a rural business. I want to buy some sort of flagpole set up that I can put in the ground permanently.
    I was watching the video and appreciate the advice on the wall mount.
    Can you provide links for the materials that you bought?
    My other question on this might seem silly - does the flagpole nest and extend? The reason I’m asking is that can you retract the flagpole so that it’s short enough to put the Starlink on top and then extend it to however many feet tall you want it to be?
    Our plan is not to have the Starlink out all the time because there has been theft in the area. I assumed it will lock it up and when we arrive at the workspace in the morning, we will put the Sterling on top of the flag both the day and then put it back away. So I was just wondering , without needing a ladder if there was an easier way to to adjust the height of the flagpole for putting the Starlink on

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The flagpole I bought does “extend” so you can raise it up after you install the Starlink. I’ll put a link in this vid description for the flagpole I bought. I can’t send a link for the Starlink wall mount, but you can log into your account in Starlink and go to the shop and find the wall mount in there. Hope that helped.

    Obviously Starlink wants you to drill a complete hole in the pole - hence why there's a V on the opposite side of the bolt hole. It's a recess for the bolt to snug up after going through the entire pole. It's not a terrible design - people just aren't smart enough to use a perfectly designed accessory correctly. 🤦‍♂

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You can leave it on the ground, but you have to place it far enough away from anything to get a clear view. That brings in tripping hazards with the cable, and it could easily “walk away”. I’d rather get it up on a pole attached to my rv👍🏻👍🏻

    FYI, If Elon actually knew about these pipe adapters, he'd probably scrap it for something way better. These are penny pinchers that work for Elon. Not actually Elon.

    Musk and his bunch aren’t the greatest engineering bunch. Look at his Tesla cars. He keeps jacking the monthly price of star link…..
    Not for me.

    Kind of disagree, they build Rockets, Cars, countless other extremely over engineered objects. Mount looks perfectly fine in my opinion. Glad you found a solution that you are happy with but sounds like you never even gave the one designed for intended purpose a chance.

      It is a terrible design if you actually had one in your hand to see. No way would I risk a $600 satellite dish being held on by a 1/2” lip and one bolt.

      It's an absolute atrocious design, not to mention that it was also recalled by starlink itself because of its faulty design. I wouldn't trust it either. Sure, they build rockets and blah blah blah.... some of them actually explode too, soooo.... just bc they build other "overly engineered" items, doesn't mean they're good or trustworthy. Hence the recall. Duh.

    if engineers had to work on the crap they design , things would be made way different
