What if you drilled a hole in the aluminium pole so where it tighens up (and you pulled it out) the bolt would go inside of it? You could even use a threated nut tag welded so it screws in and not just loose. You're video really made me think, that way I don't need to find a 3d printer either or mess about with a third party. Great video guys

    Where's the link to eBay?

Obviously Starlink wants you to drill a complete hole in the pole - hence why there's a V on the opposite side of the bolt hole. It's a recess for the bolt to snug up after going through the entire pole.

I would worry about the strength in a high wind of the clip in part designed by Starlink.
It may be convenient, but it is weak. You need to do more work on that.
I just bought the gen 3 kit. I will eventually be mounting it up in a 150 foot tree where there will be wind.
I am thinking about straps around the front or plexiglass sheet on the front to which I can bold things down.

Nice piece, but now the cable is inside the mast. Your only options are a big strength-robbing hole near the ground to get it out, or bring the cable out the bottom through the dirt. Can't say I like either of those options. I'd rather bring it down the outside of the pole.

I'd buy one if it was for sale anywhere. It's not, as far as I can find out.
