I had a turned up lq9 6.0 voetec max swapped in my 05 silverado. I was pushing 430hp and almost 500flbs through my rear tires. I whooped an Audi R8 on a half mile straight away, I was still pulling with the spedo pegged at 120. But i had an experience crusing at 80 down the highway headed up north, a maroon red dodge caravan crept up next to me and he pointed forward and nodded, so I cut her loose and jumped past 100, all the while hearing a turbo under that damn van's hood and watching it leave posi at close to 110mph and watched that van sail past me. I shook his hand when we both pulled off at the gas station on the next exit. He had sold his 2008 mustang bought the van and totally went all through it top to bottom new paint everything. Looked factory from the outside but under the hood was a whole new monster.
Derek Ahmann About 280 to the wheels if you're conservative, if not then 250-260 whp is pushing it. The trick to maintaining a stock transmission on these cars is never, ever ever burn rubber. Because if you constantly do burnouts the transmission will give out even at the stock 200 whp in 100k miles or less...
dunkingkid7 I mean his Buick is impressive but the 2105 GTR has 545 to 600 hp, and amazing acceleration. Even a regal with 527hp it probably wont happen, I think you dream car is safe (for now, lol)
Do people ever suspect you or call you out before you race? When i inherit my sister's civic I want to use all the cash i get into making it a sleeper but i thought too many people would call me out and take a look under the hood before a race. I don't really care how people look at my car or how much women i can get with it. I just want to see how fast i can get it to go and how much people I can make lose to a honda. But do you get called out a lot when you ask others to race against your regal? And what does happen when they see it's modified on the inside but not on the outside? Do they back off?
The trick is to keep it low key, that means quiet exhaust, and no hints to that it is a fast car. You have to remember this is also a Buick, not many only those who know about them and have them know what they do so I doubt people take a look off the street, especially red light racing and such. In your Honda you're probably no going to get called out lol, just laughed at because many will suspect a ricer, so don't rice it. Keep it at a stock appearance, no gauges sticking out no loud waste-gate if you turbo, no fart cannon, for fucks sake no fart cannon lol. Many people don't know about the regal it's kind of the hidden gem of the W-body cars with the L67 and L32 motors. But I'm sure if you do show off what's under the hood of this Buick Regal or any other Regal even the ones with the SC or stock ones they probably won't believe what you have because it's a "Buick" so it must be slow. But if you get at it with another car guy he or she will know and probably won't back off. But if you are going the civic route, I hate civics imo, but if you do it right you can make a good sleeper just don't be a rice fag. Oh and another thing most of time with a Regal (own one) You will usually get people who wont race you automatically because they believe its slow or they'll get cocky as said before and try to stomp you. Now I suspect with your Honda they will think that you are completely insane and want to humiliate you or once again won't believe a word you say. Most of the time people with factory sports and muscle cars who you'll race, they don't know shit about their ride so its easy pickings and you can make them feel bad.

K24 honda engines love boost.
You can turbo or supercharge it for better performance. And an auto tranny keeps the boost going.
