Okay Okay so we've seen the car and heard you talk about it, let's get in it and hear some pulls! Let's get this ol' girl Whining. Ain't no video's without some pulls. Get to Mexico and do some pulls :p
"Cammed fully built" is an oxymoron. Cammed means you put in a different camshaft. Fully built means you completely built the engine from ground up, the cam is redundant. So, which one is it? Did you fully build the entire engine or just replace the camshaft?
It has forged pistons as well and gapped the rings. The only thing. That isn't replaced is the rods so I'd say it's fully built, or damn near. The whole valvetrain is upgraded as well
hey i dont know if you still have this but do you know what that hissing noise is coming from the right side of the engine? i have the exact same thing and its kinda annoying and it could be nice if I could fix it
Nice! I have so many questions -I have a 2000 GTP what size wheels are those? Is it safe for the trans? What is that tensioner besides the supercharger? Did you delete the cats for that exhaust sound? Those gauges are nice too One more- how do you get that power to the ground from a standing start? Thx nice car
I know some answers to your questions. Trans - this is a weak point. Look at what you got, if it’s not a 4t80 it ain’t gonna last. These teams are heavy but handle power really well for what a 3800sc puts out. For the rims and tires, any good set of sport dedicated tires will work. Go to your nearest discount tire and see what they have. Buddy of mine grips and rips on 275s on his 750WHP GTO - he’s got Toyo proxes R888. Do you need these expensive tires? Will you be doing prep or no prep 1/4 runs? Is this a daily driver? All Q’s you gotta ask yourself. Google is certainly your friend. In general tho, to help you get off the line quick, get thicker tires that are made for grippin and rippin (no $50 Walmart specials. You may need to shell out depending on your WHP and surface). There are many forums online that have asked and answered the same Q’s you have.
@@ligma2414thanks- the Grand Prix forums are mostly 404 now, they let the websites go The tires , I read that the std trans can get messed up if you go to a bigger wheel Thanks
mide as well just get a v6 accord coupe with a j series v6 if your going to build something -_- way more potential especially with turbos and most people ditch the supercharger and put a turbo on these cars anyways if their smart

@@ViralkillkidFTW Well alrighty then. Sounds great. Good stuff
Finding a clean 2dr 6th gen is starting to become a "needle in the haystack" quest. If you come across a clean gtp coupe.
Pick it up.
Just saw one locally for $900 decent interior, clear coat was just peeling, clean title.. just needed a belt and battery
I found a good bit of em for cheap found one for 1000 but has a broken transmission
Mine runs and drives i had to pick it up
I found a 67k original owner 2dr 5k$%

R u sure this is a 97 because I thought there hear shift wasn't in the middle till 99 ?
Yes the title says 1997 and it even has the 1997 trans line fittings and abs module
I see you got the new car together, that thing sounds nasty in the best possible way
Thank you man. I like your channel. Very informative videos
