I went to Mexico you guys. I went in September I didn’t post about it because sadly I went to my grandmothers funeral :( she was a US resident and would come back and fourth so I got to see her but she got cancer and the last couple years she decided to stay in Mexico. if I can say one thing is don’t let fear keep you from visiting your loved ones. I wish I would of seen a therapist or something to help me get over it. Because the sadness I feel that I didn’t see her is unmatched :( anyways the experience overall wasn’t bad I got to see all my cousins and Culiacán seemed really chill. The crazy thing is the two weeks after I left all that crazy stuff happened in Sinaloa!! So Idk
I haven't gone since I was 14 I am 29 now and I haven't been able to go back because I'm so tramatized..nothing personally happen to me thank god but something horrible happen to a cousin I grew up with.. I am not ready to go where my family lives but I wanna start by going to a really popular tourist spot to see how I feel. My goal is to be able to see my family again I know they are not feeling the fact that I haven't went ... I feel like since they all moved on from what happen I don't have the right to still be so messed up but I can't help it.. it's this crazy fear I have .. so I'm glad you went back and that's giving me some courage to go.
seeing all these commenters saying the same thing happened to them and fighting about which cities are dangerous... You guys, it's not about the cities. It's about men. Name the problem!
there are also women who work for sex traffickers so pls stop this sexist shit hny, they use especially women because they can calm the victim down and gain more trust from them then men so be aware of EVERYONE they use even children tu lure you in
Same thing happened to me!!! I got followed by a group of men when I was In Mexico. My grandma sent me to my aunts little corner store that was like 5 minutes away and I went walking, as I was returning I see the men coming towards me , like running to me. I bolted like crazy!! I was running passed houses until I saw a house with their gate open and saw people outside , I tried asking them to help me but I couldn’t get words out of my mouth because of how scared I was, I was pale, shaking , dizzy. Luckily that family helped me and took me to my grandmothers house. The next day I was on my way back home to Houston
LifeOfBethh omg gurl legit gave me the chills! The way you explained how you felt after is exactly the stages I went through. It’s truly scary I think the adrenaline helped me run faster honestly! I’m so happy you got out safe 🙏🏻
Bethany Wow that’s so scary I’m going to ciudad Juárez for the first time this summer and I’m scared af cause apparently that is a really dangerous city! Btw I live in Houston too❤️
Omg that’s so scary !! I’m so scared of Mexico, I was suppose to go with my in-laws but they told me I would have to not wear makeup nor do my hair and dress poor or something like that because I would get kid napped or robbed or something, long story short .. I didn’t go. I’m too scared ..
It’s because they fake ass stories!! Lol....back in the day instead of being kidnapped the story was that you went tot he baile and ended up meeting the devil....new generation, new stories....
You don't understand her family didn't know who she was dancing with then she finally told her older cousin then that's when her cousin knew about that guy
nia ling they didn’t realize who I was dancing with until we were like already dancing a lot of my cousins were already on the dance floor when he asked me
I don’t like this part of Mexican culture. Even my parents tell me that I should say yes when a guys asks me to dance. I just hate cuz the guys are creepy and way past my age.
Jacqueline Castro I honestly don’t give two shits if my mom or dad tell me to say yes if I guy ask me to dance like ima say no if I don’t want to nobody especially your parents can force u to do something that u don’t want to.
Because the culture is to please a man. It's in all cultures, a lot covertly, like the old days. Men ruled and do not take kind to humiliation. Some countries are still trying to follow old traditional ways without thinking about why
Natalie www.diccionariodedudas.com/dijiste-o-dijistes/ , hahahahahah no it’s not, I’m Spanish and we use vos as well and we say “dijiste” which is the correct form. The “s” is just wrong and usually used by people who are slightly ignorant
Kimberly Enriquez ok don’t get racist here, you probably have some indigenous ancestry as well if your Mexican . The term “inditas” just shows how u are
In Mexico you really shouldn’t be rude bc of how ppl react different and if she would’ve said no he would’ve called his buddy to come get her just in one so it’s better that she knew his intentions
Firstly that was messed up that some of your family members tried to put the blame on you claiming you “lead him on” you were 15 years old and he was a grown ass man. There is absolutely no excuse for him to think it’s ok to STEAL YOU bc u lead him on, even if u actually were intending to lead him on he’s a grown adult and it’s his responsibility to make sure he does not act in that behavior. In every way this is the mans fault completely you did nothing wrong
Same thing happened to me, my family is from Durango. I was followed by a suburban full of guys & they blocked my way when I was walking my dog at night (Doberman) and they were saying I was gonna get kidnapped by them. My dog immediately got into attack mode & I told them who my family was and they took off and never bothered me again lol. Our family doesn't play. I'm glad you're okay!! I haven't been to Mexico since 2007.
This is literally my worst nightmare. I’m so sorry men in Mexico are literally ruthless and have crazy extreme machista ideals the fact that they think that this is normal is absolutely terrifying💔 I’m so sorry
You are gorgeous and need to still be careful as an adult! There are several grown women that are being taken into sex trafficking so stay safe ladies!
Girl, the SAME thing happened to me. My cousins and I were at the baile del rancho and this group of guys showed up. One of the guys asked my cousin to dance and his friend asked me. I thought he was cute and he could dance so I was like ok. Then I wanted to go back with my cousins but the guy whispered in my ear, “te voy a robar y te voy a llevar a donde nadie te encuentre”. Boooooy I never wanted to come back to the states so quick...
Pues mejor alejarte de los tipos extraños yo no tengo ninguna experiencia así porque siempre estoy encerrada en mi casa y esto que viví 15 años aquí xD
I completely understand why your traumatized but don’t let it ruin the great memories you have in Mexico and how much you had going. I love going but I always make sure I’m aware of my surroundings and never walk places alone especially at night even though my moms rancho is pretty safe.
Emmy yeah I try not too 😭 I do have wonderful memories living the rancho life it was always so much fun. I truly miss it. I just don’t know how I would feel if I was back I think I would feel super paranoid😭
First of all how could anyone blame you for someone wanting to STEAL you. You don’t control psychotic behavior. Someone tried to kidnap me as a little girl and I never told anyone for years. I think it’s great to share our stories because we could help save someone else you know. I’m happy that you are safe!!!
Tarynn Wescott her being 13 I can understand she would want to listen to her cousins instructions about not being rude but I think if she was a little older she would have just not done it if she wasn’t comfortable
girl the same thing happened to me in guanajuato and i was soooo traumatized and i didn’t wanna tell any of my cousins and i was so scared to go out !! then i decided to tell my family and they told me to not worry but then i came back to california and it took me like 4 years to get over what happened. and finally in december i went back
Unfortunately that’s how some family members are. If I were you I wouldn’t get too close to your cousins. I’m glad that guy didn’t get to kidnap you. It makes me so mad to know that people knew him for doing shit like that and they didn’t do anything about it. That’s why I don’t like going to Mexico anymore. People don’t care about authorities and people don’t care about justice they just want to turn to the other way when crimes are committed
Alexa Yturria yeah... so were the 43 missing students from Sinaloa? No, they weren’t dumb ass. Do you know how many fucking people go missing, and are never really searched in Mexico? It’s people like you that make places worse...always trying to make serious issues into something small. You’re the ignorant one.
Dont anyone go attacking me this is just what I've heard! The police there are corrupt as well and expecially if they know you're from America they see you as a huge dollar bill basically becuase they think American's are rich so the police will tend to not help victims
Girrrllll, I have too many horrible stories about Mexico. I’ll never go back ever again. I’m so sorry you had to go through this mama. I’m so glad you got away.
I had a somewhat terrible experience when I went to Mexico for the first time. There would always be these guys hitting on me and my sister. These guys were 18+ while I was 15, and my sister 16. This one night, we slept at my cousins house and we would chill in the balcony and there were these drunk guys flashing lights at us. And, we headed inside. The way her house is structured is that the second floor has a staircase outside. And, the door isn't that secured since you can easily slip your hand and unlock it. That night we heard banging on our door and stuff and since the doors are metals it sound terrible. We couldn't sleep at all, and it turns out my grandparents from my mom side started saying that we made the noise cause we were sneaking guys in. My sister and I got hella mad and told my grandma from my dad's side since we were staying at my dad's house. There was another time when we went to these horse races and it began to rain. My cousin told us we can go by the big van since there were guys there telling us to come since they were using these covers to shield from the rain. We were there for a few minutes and these drunk guys began to flirt. They even told us we can go inside , but this man told him off and told us that they were rapist. I was fucking scared. He told us the minute the rain slows down to just leave. The drunk guys kept trying to touch us and pull us in. We didnt bother waiting for the rain we all began to run and since I did cross country I was able to run hella fast leaving my cousins and sisters behind. We slowed down a bit and stayed with these women and children until it was better condition to head back home. We were forced to stay 2 months in Mexico and it just involved so much drama with my own family members and guys. They called us lazy, and white and stuff. We haven't gone back in 3 years, and I don't plan to.
Sinaloa is crazy when I would go my dad wouldn’t let me go out of el rancho without him but there was a lil town like 5 minutes away and ig this lesbian from there had a lot of money and would always carry guns and other guys protecting her and if she saw someone she liked she would robar them on gun point she did it to a couple of girls in that town so when I started growing up my dad wouldn’t let me go out there without him. And once we were driving to culichi and some guys were going slow so my dad went around them then they spead up in front of us and blocked us got off with guns and said “traen tanta prissa o que pedo compa”while pointing a bunch of guns to the truck my dad literally told him “Somos conocidos de los ***** no se quieran meter en problemas” then the guys apologized and drove off but heck no girl ever since then I haven’t gone back! No way it’s too crazy
We call it culichi lol whenever we use to go to culiacan we would say “vamos pa culichi” and well I wouldn’t know since that’s the one place in Mexico I have family members at & I’ve never been to any other part of Mexico but that was just my experience when I did visit Mexico :) lol
Lol what? Some lesbian chick tried to steal you? Ok I’m not sure if I understood correctly but that’s crazy! My family is from Mexico but I’ve never been to Mexico cuz deep down I’m scared 😟
Kenia Molina no don’t be, as long as you’re with a group of people and aware of your surroundings you should be fine. And never try to “show off” that you’re a tourist (like speaking English in such an obvious way, or having expensive things in public). Have fun and be safe! :))
Mexico it's an amazing place you will know when you get there. People have bad experiences but because some bad apples that doesn't mean the hole tree is bad.
It can actually be dangerous my mom once told me that a girl said no to a guy and when she decided to dance with another guy he shot both of her legs bc she rejected him it's obviously really fucked up but that's how some guys are
Cristina Hernandez yea it’s just sad how dangerous they let some men be in Latino America even though they’re at a public place surrounded by pple. I would think that pple would try to step in and do the right thing but I guess it’s just different in some places unfortunately
Thank you for everyone that leaves me sweet comments 🙌 you guys are awesome. To those that leave mean comments calling me a pendeja or whatever it’s okay lmao. You can be angry at a stranger for no reason. It’s just the internet. Anyways if you don’t think I’m a pendeja I post a lot of different content you guys should totally check it out 👏🏻☺️🙌
I am glad you are okay. But seriously, when something like this happens tell your parents and stay in doors the whole time. God really was looking out for you.
omg samee I went to visit Mexico for the first time and this guy took me out to dance and he didn’t wanna let me go until I like yelled at him like ya déjame ir and he saw that my uncle was their and let me go
I can totally relate. I was mugged a couple years ago and I’ve never been the same. You just end up traumatized. Any where and everywhere you go it’s like you have to watch your step. So glad it wasn’t worst 🙂
This happen to me in Louisiana, and I’m not even hispanic! Hispanic men did the same thing but my older cousin don’t play that shit. He said “idk wtf y’all looking at.”💀💀
Wowww.. that’s so scary I totally understand why you would be traumatized... the whole leaving with your head down thing seems so frightening. (Unrelated but you’re a really good storyteller and straight to the point! This was a really good video)
When I was living in Mexico (7 or 8 years old), we went to visit my grandparent's house in a small town for the weekend as usual. And there was a family gathering around the corner, I was there with all my mother's side of the family (and my own too), and around 11pm rolls around and I wanna go home. And since it was just around the corner I thought I would just take my little cousins and my smaller brother with me as it was late and they were tired. All of the sudden I hear a man talking to us and i start running and I am grabbing my cousins' hands and tell them to grab each other's hands and just run. Keep in mind, this man is drunk, very drunk. And he is like come here and starts running after us, like bolting. And he starts yelling and I am freaking out, thinking he is going to kidnap us or something as there was no one around and it was close to midnight. My cousins almost fell on the ground multiple times so i was really stressed. And when we are so close to my grandparent's house, he continues to yell. When we got in front of the door. I couldnt freaking open it, sometimes it got stuck so I was freaking the hell out and almost started crying because he is still running towards us and screaming. But luckly I get it open and I shoved my cousins and my brother in there and I also get in too, I lock the door. And I tell my cousins and my brother to push themselves against the door because i was terrified of what could happen. And this man starts BANGING on the door begging us to let him in, he WOULDNT leave. Anyways my aunt comes and that freak runs away. And I tell my mother and she is like yeah he always wants to go inside peoples house so he can beg them for money. But WE were KIDS (I was the oldest one). I'm pretty sure he had a knife with him too, I remember seeing something of the sort with him when he was RUNNING towards us. I've literally been through so much shit. I was almost kidnapped by a woman in grade 5 (not in mexico tho)....just a hot mess.
I’m Sinaloense too, I understand that there’s creepy people, but you shouldn’t let a bad experience stop you from going back to Mexico there’s so many good things out there, just be careful who you dance with haha and of course never go alone
Karen yeah but In Mexico if your kidnapped no one actually cares to investigate all the way to see what happened and they really don’t investigate like they should. People in Mexico don’t give a shit unfortunately
I went to Mexico 2 years ago and some older guys just starting saying por qué tan sola a donde vas mamasita and I felt so uncomfortable but I was walking with my family at night and I was so behind them that I got scared and I stared to walk faster I was with my prima and it was so scary
Omgosh girl! My whole family is from Sinaloa also!! I’ve had a few scares.. and now with kids it gets me paranoid just thinking about taking my kids over. We’d go every year for Christmas break for 3 weeks. I hate their customs. You can’t even defend yourself.. my family doesn’t understand that. They think it’s so easy to go & be out & about. It’ll be super difficult because my husband speaks NO Spanish.. your story is scary.. that’d ruin it for me.
Ingrid Gonzalez yeah girl it was crazy! But it’s so different over there like we’re Mexican but you can tell we live in America and they want to take advantage. But yeah it did ruin it for a while but I think I’d go back. Same hubs doesn’t speak Spanish lol
I am so sorry that you have had to endure that kind of situation. I too have been in a situation like that. When I was 14, I was walking home from a friends house and a man followed me in his vehicle to a certain point. He then yelled for me to talk to him and when I tried walking fast away from him, he literally drove his truck ahead of me, blocked me from proceeding on the route I was walking, got out of his car and was chasing me trying to grab me. Escaping from that situation has effected me as well in the same way it effects you. It is truly a terrifying experience to be in. I am glad you were able to escape and get home safe. Thank you so much for sharing your story.
This story is WILD!!! You are totally allowed to be rude, aka ‘protect yourself’, from a guy who is KNOWN for violent behavior especially towards women. Glad you’re safe 🙌🏾
Something similar happened to me. Just creepy guys always hitting on you, meanwhile you’re minding your own business. I got hate for it FROM MY OWN GIRL COUSINS. They thought I was asking for attention because i’M fRoM tHe sTatEs. Girl I was 14, tf was I doing playing in the maquinitas eating frozen danoninos.🙄 Were from Michoacán and luckily my dad and cuñados were very known in our town. So they handled whatever rabo verde came my way 🙂
Cassandra Ramos i hate most my family in Mexico they can be so shady and rude, when ever I good they judge me for everything!!! And they are always asking for money and taking advantage of my dad and having him buy them shit and pay for everything
Girl..omg. I'm from zacapu michoacan. Haven't been there in ages and i have been thinking of visiting family with my mom. So it's not safe right? I'm scared now I've been watching all these stories and omg! 😥
My wife and I went to Porto Viarta south of the border below San Diego. I wish someone had told us that bad things were happening there before I took my wife down there. The police told me I should’ve known better than to bring a beautiful woman like Kathy down there.
I’m sorry that you weren’t protected by your family. This wasn’t a cultural thing, but more of your family not keeping you safe. There’s predators everywhere! When I go to Mexico my daughter is not allowed to leave my sight. She went to her first baile at 20 and even then, the whole family was watching her and told her she couldn’t dance with older men! People thought we were being stuck up, but her safety comes first!
I just came back yesterday after being in Michoacan/Guanajuato with fanily for over a month - 1st time in Mexico. This dude on a horse bolted at me twice. I ran lol. I wanna go to bailes next time lol. So true about the small town, everyone knowing you by family affiliation lol
Hola fellow sinaloense. I am so sorry that man battered and harassed you like that. That's so not cool. I can relate and I'm glad to hear you are well in spite of your unresolved trauma. Perhaps you may want to seek counseling for PTSD because it sounds like you may have the symptoms. Certain medications can help and hemp as well. Most of my late father's relatives that are still alive are still in small town Sinaloa close to the Chihuahua border in Indian country. Though my paternal grandfather left a ranch behind I never went back to reclaim it for safety reasons. I had to start over in the USA with nothing. But at least I'm sana y salva. The struggle is real. You are strong and brave for sharing your story. ¡Animo!
this sort of stuff happens to me and my girl cousins. but that’s why i like being from a little rancho that nobody really knows about. everybody is family and nothing bad really happens there
No one has the right to shame you and say that you asked for it!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so sorry this happen to you. We just have to be aware of everything , glad you heard the truck and ran. Thank god your safe ! ❤️💜💚
I'm gonna be honest here. I've read all these comments about cousins and family members setting female relatives up for trauma and unfortunately, it is true. It's always the people that are closest to you that you gotta watch the most. Observation is way more effective and informative than conversation. You could save yourself a lot of time, energy and mental sanity just by observing your environment. We all know that Mexico isn't the safest country on Earth, particularly for women. I applaud you for making it outta that situation. I'm going to Mexico this coming Easter
I can tell this is a hard story for you to tell. Your voice is shaking all over. I hope you're doing better sister. I went to Mexico myself when I was 12 but I was with my brother and had a great time, exploring a country I never knew. You're absolutely gorgeous, please take care of yourself and I hope only good things happen in your life 🤍🤍
My mom has also said to say yes to a guy if he asks me to dance and just say thank you and leave after one song because you never know if he’s a narco or whatever and get mad if you say no
Bc most of our cousins live in Mexico..well at least hers and mine do..I'm Mexican and most of my cousins live in Mexico so..si no sabes..pues no sabes
I was 14, in Mexico, with people from my Spanish class for a month learning to speak better Spanish through an exchange program. I went into a shop by myself (14...dumb) and the man in his late 40s blocks my exit to go outside and keeps telling me to come with him to this ship to go get weed. I told him no, I would like to leave, unblock my exit. He kept trying to call me baby and persuade me to go. I told him no so many times. He wouldn't unblock my exit. I looked him in the eyes and told him, no thank you, MOVE. He unblocked my exit pissed off and wouldn't look at me. I stormed off to find my group down the road. This was over 12 years ago. Trafficking was not really news to the public yet. I was so upset and mad I just forgot it and didn't tell anyone. I wish I would have told someone on the trip.
Girl!! I watched this after filming my traumatizing experience in Mexico!! I really never want to go back either and I’m not sure if I should leave my video up for long because it did happen recently.. I hope you get a chance to watch it :) and stay safe!!!
Being a women in a man's world is scary. That is why I started training all my nieces in boxing and MMA. Now they all train in different gyms. But here is some advice for any woman, try to take Crav Maga as it teaches you to use pretty much anything as a weapon. Crav Maga is used in Israeli special forces as hand to hand combat and not for competitive purposes. I am a 2° black belt. Every woman should learn to defend themselves against all attackers. It's sad that no woman is safe no matter where you live in this world. I think it's even more tragic not being able to defend yourselves. So if you are a woman and want to have a chance to protect yourself, please take self defense classes of any sort. Stay safe sisters..✌
When I go, only my parents know and the person that iam arriving to as well, no one else, no cousins no uncles nothing and about a day or two into my trip theres already family and family friends looking for me before I go and try to visit them. Like a month ago I arrived saturday on plane, spent the day at my aunts house (which she didn't know I was coming only my grandma knew) got to my grandmas house at night, I go upstairs to get the mattress and I go down stairs and someone is there to meet me, and it was just a spontaneous trip cause I left the next day Sunday.
mexico is not that scary lol JUST STAY AWAY FROM SINALOA but like if you go to Oaxaca it's super safe and i go there all the time.. Puebla too. Overall Mexico is pretty safe just dont flash expensive things unless you're in a rich area
ivette Alice quirarte where y'all spreading misinformation from? where tf did u hear this from? have u been to cancun or mexico even?? dont judge a whole ass country bc yes there are cartels but it's not like u would think lmao they aint gonna target random ppl for nothih
One time when I lived in Mexico with my mom there was this one lifted new truck that was going around my block and I was sitting outside stealing my neighbors internet 😂😂 and only narcos have those trucks there and my stepdad was coming from work on his bike and they stopped and asked him where a lived and he told them I loved about 10 houses down from mine and my mom never let me leave her side anymore and lots of guys would follow me and sent me notes but now I’m safe cause my bitch ass got fat asf so ahora quien me va querer robar😂😂😂😂
I grew up in Mexico until I was 11 and I can count on one hand the times I’ve gone out to the street alone there lol and not once at night... I was living in CDMX so I guess it’s a bit different, it’s a really big city but even in Queretaro where some relatives live they don’t even like me going to the tiendita alone 😂 It‘s a shame that our beautiful country is so unsafe, so many of the most gorgeous parts like the jungle, sierras and some beaches have become too dangerous to even visit 😢😔
something similar happened to me my first time in mexico last summer. i was in my dad's small rancho with mi tia, and we were walking to the pharmacy which was right along the main road that led to and out of the rancho. right across the pharmacy was one of her cousin's house, and her cousin was outside chilling in her patio. mi tia, being the social butterfly she is, stopped by to saludar a su prima and it quickly became 10, 20, 30+ minutes of us standing outside. la prima was sitting in the corner of her patio right on the side of the road, but her patio was kinda fenced by bushes, so you couldnt really see out into la carretera expect if you walked up and through the walkway, and mi tia was sitting down with su prima, so she couldnt rlly see into the street. anyways, i was on the outskirts of the walkway and literally on the carretera petting and playing with the lady's dogs. it was getting dark outside, and many cars passed since it was the main road in the area, and mi tia was so immersed in la platica. multiple times a truck or car would pass by slowly cause there was a speed bump a couple meters away from the house, so i didnt really pay attention when a minivan slowed down and literally pulled up beside me. i turn and notice the van is full of guys, but before i could turn and walk into the patio w my tia, the driver turns the window down and asks if i knew about the gun he sold to my dad. and in my head i was like ?? whatt my dad ain't even here 😭 tf you talking about. and this guy kept insisting about a gun and blah blah blah and i just laughed and smiled nervously shaking my head when my tia started walking towards me yo leave, and that's when i heard the other 3 or 4 guys laugh and pull away. but anyways thank god nothing happened, i just thought it was funny how they were bullshitting
I am trying to figure out why you would want to visit cousins that didn’t care about what happened to you. Not only that, but I have a feeling that they set you up. They’re probably jealous because you’re so beautiful. Don’t ever second-guess your instincts. You did an excellent job following your instincts when you were in Mexico. You handled the situation very intelligently because you were 100% prey and your predator was on top of you while most of your herd just stood there and watched. Thank God for your uncle! Thank God for your life. He loves you and he was watching out for you! He moved through your uncle to show you how much he loves you and he gave you an amazing mind. Listen, don’t second-guess yourself here in the US either. There is a reason why you feel fear to walk alone at night. You should! I know you know that that man is not the only predator out there. There are so very many and you must always keep that instincts sharp! Protect yourself and in the future you will use it to protect your own children. Thank God you’re alive. God bless! PS… Don’t visit your cousins, sorry but they don’t care about you. Send a nice letter to your uncle once in awhile.
Every time I would go visit my family in Michoacán, I’d be the only one in my group of cousins dressed very masculine; tuck my hair in a cap, while my cousins would get all dolled up in their heels. I would walk them to the plaza, me and three other girls. People would watch us lol and the guys that would ask my cousins to dance, they would just give me dirty looks, one of the dudes came up to me and ask how I was able to acquire such fine young ladies 😂 mind you, I had a very similar experience when I was 13! Dude was 23. I hate dancing Banda music but I didn’t want to stay at my grandmas place while my whole family was out and about partying so after I turned 16, I would dress very masculine while visiting Mexico to avoid creepy older guys asking me to dance. And it worked. Plus for some reason, my cousins and other girls felt safe when I was there watching. 😆
It doesn’t MATTER if you flirted with him or “gave him the wrong impression”. That doesn’t make kidnapping you okay, and more than likely rapping you. I’m glad you’re ok and now you can use that experience to be more cautious.
I would of walked away tbh! And go home ASAP! And dudes in Mexico doesn’t matter what part of Mexico when they see what they like they will do anything to keep u with them!
You don’t know how you’ll react in a situation until you’re actually in it. It’s easy to say I would of done this or that but to actually go through it, you don’t really think straight.
So Idk
This is so sad, I'm so sorry love, stay strong xx
You are brave and I know it's frustrating that your cousins aren't understanding. In the end you are here and well.
Even if you did flirt with him that doesn't give him the right to kidnap you. Your cousins are wrong.

Holy shit there's the feminist
Is the way of living in Mexico really that bad that one of the common ways of providing for your family is sex trafficking?
?????
Same thing happened to me!!! I got followed by a group of men when I was In Mexico. My grandma sent me to my aunts little corner store that was like 5 minutes away and I went walking, as I was returning I see the men coming towards me , like running to me. I bolted like crazy!! I was running passed houses until I saw a house with their gate open and saw people outside , I tried asking them to help me but I couldn’t get words out of my mouth because of how scared I was, I was pale, shaking , dizzy. Luckily that family helped me and took me to my grandmothers house. The next day I was on my way back home to Houston

Because the culture is to please a man. It's in all cultures, a lot covertly, like the old days. Men ruled and do not take kind to humiliation. Some countries are still trying to follow old traditional ways without thinking about why

I thought he was cute and he could dance so I was like ok. Then I wanted to go back with my cousins but the guy whispered in my ear, “te voy a robar y te voy a llevar a donde nadie te encuentre”.

This makes me want to talk about my experience living there. It almost feels surreal all the things that happened to me.
You should go for it
this was actually a very interesting story time. glad i came across it, and very sorry that happened to you.
You have ptsd 😔😔 try counseling! It might help
If I ever go to Mexico again it would be tourist places only like Cancun etc cause lots of Pueblos and city’s have cartels and kidnappers 😭

Absolutely am loving your makeup and especially the hair. You look amazing girl xo
I grew up in Mexico until I was 11 and I can count on one hand the times I’ve gone out to the street alone there lol and not once at night... I was living in CDMX so I guess it’s a bit different, it’s a really big city but even in Queretaro where some relatives live they don’t even like me going to the tiendita alone 😂
It‘s a shame that our beautiful country is so unsafe, so many of the most gorgeous parts like the jungle, sierras and some beaches have become too dangerous to even visit 😢😔
something similar happened to me my first time in mexico last summer. i was in my dad's small rancho with mi tia, and we were walking to the pharmacy which was right along the main road that led to and out of the rancho. right across the pharmacy was one of her cousin's house, and her cousin was outside chilling in her patio. mi tia, being the social butterfly she is, stopped by to saludar a su prima and it quickly became 10, 20, 30+ minutes of us standing outside. la prima was sitting in the corner of her patio right on the side of the road, but her patio was kinda fenced by bushes, so you couldnt really see out into la carretera expect if you walked up and through the walkway, and mi tia was sitting down with su prima, so she couldnt rlly see into the street. anyways, i was on the outskirts of the walkway and literally on the carretera petting and playing with the lady's dogs. it was getting dark outside, and many cars passed since it was the main road in the area, and mi tia was so immersed in la platica. multiple times a truck or car would pass by slowly cause there was a speed bump a couple meters away from the house, so i didnt really pay attention when a minivan slowed down and literally pulled up beside me. i turn and notice the van is full of guys, but before i could turn and walk into the patio w my tia, the driver turns the window down and asks if i knew about the gun he sold to my dad. and in my head i was like ?? whatt my dad ain't even here 😭 tf you talking about. and this guy kept insisting about a gun and blah blah blah and i just laughed and smiled nervously shaking my head when my tia started walking towards me yo leave, and that's when i heard the other 3 or 4 guys laugh and pull away. but anyways thank god nothing happened, i just thought it was funny how they were bullshitting
Girl this is so f scary what the hell 😭 my dad is from Sinaloa and I’ve never been there but always wanted to go but damn now idk 😂
Rosy Araujo haha don’t be left alone mija👀👀
Vane B I saw you in another comment saying you were kidnapped in another state..mija, are you making this up?? 😂🤔
👏
It’s so sad that you can’t see your family there but honestly I’m not sure I could ever go back after an experience like that.
Those are the type of things that scare me to go to Mexico.
It doesn’t MATTER if you flirted with him or “gave him the wrong impression”. That doesn’t make kidnapping you okay, and more than likely rapping you. I’m glad you’re ok and now you can use that experience to be more cautious.
NEW SUBSCRIBER!! First video of yours I am watching. You are SO pretty. 💜
Amber Velasquez aw thank you doll🙈💓
guuuuurlll ALWAYS say something when you feel uncomfortable because your instinct is usually right! it can save your life
Wow I go to Mexico every year and nothing like this has happened to me or people I know 🤔 my family is from Jalisco btw
Claudia Contreras 👏👏👏 bravo. Looks like you’ve been lucky!
Girlll Cant Relate !! Im Also From Jalisco & Crazy Shit Has Happen To Me 😩
A woman should never have to go through this, there’s such cruel people in this world 😭
this makes me scared to visit Mexico, plus where my dad's from it's not the safest place.
