I've never trusted my neighbor either. My dad looked up his criminal record and just a few of his charges include; several DUI s, domestic abuse, and *HOME INVASION!* My dad has also caught him looking at me weird so I'm scared every time I'm home alone. Sometimes when I go outside I feel like I'm being watched and I'll look at his house and think I see a curtain move. I carry my pepper spray just to go get the mail, that's how paranoid I am!

My neighbours constantly break into each others houses. A while ago a group of my neighbours tried breaking down my door while I was home alone, I was terrified so I ran upstairs and hid in my wardrobe, phoned my boyfriend and panicked.
My boyfriend phoned the police and rushed home, luckily they got here before my neighbours could break down the door. Their excuse was that I had set fire to their house because they had steam in their bathroom... They had had a fucking shower and thought the steam was smoke from my house.
I developed anxiety because of this and ever since then, when anyone knocks on the door I get a bad anxiety attack. Even the postman.
So I understand what you're going through and it sucks.
No one should be terrified in their own home.
Damn sorry that's crazy where do you live I thought I had a crazy ass neighbor nothing compared to yours though

This is why I haven’t spoken more than 5 words to my neighbors lol. I remember one night it was like 1 am and there’s banging on my door & I thought someone had the wrong apartment so I ignore it. It continues and I hear a man yelling (I’m 20 and 5’1 so I wasn’t going to answer obvs). Finally the door STARTS TO OPEN, it was the 24 hour maintenance man who took it upon himself to nearly break all three locks on my door cause there was a leak...like he should’ve called me or something instead of scaring me half to death 😭
