- Update: Its been a year now since the video went up and today Jan 1st 2019 it will be monetized. I have learned my LIFE lessons and have no hard feelings toward NOBODY involved I wish Cardi B and her Team all the best and I have moved on. With that being said and after a lot of thought I will recoup my fees and put it towards my business. Even though I didn't do this for financial gain a year ago Ive learn when life gives u lemons make lemonade. At over 7million views I see my voice was heard, this cautionary tale was taken into account, and my point was made. Thanks the those who support and for those who don't thank you anyway your opinions are still of value.

I've had the exact same thing happen to me with a celebrity. But I was doing her hair not makeup. Keep your head up. I'm sure you're an amazing makeup artist. People can just be cruel. I had the same reaction to the situation that happened to me. Sorry this happened to you! But now you'll be stronger than ever when it comes to dealing with these clients. The high pay is to replace money the hair, clothing or make up artist could make while not servicing some other clients at that time & for their professionalism & availability for the client I travel I hotel I food, confidentiality too.

Getting highly paid for your craft & skills is work & can help you retire quicker or be more financially stable in any field & that dosnt mean you did something wrong. Being a top surgeon or athlete or make up artist or political speaker & being paid extremely well isn't wrong or worship. She is an expert in the makeup field j should level up. She could of had a similar event with any nonentertainer clients too who like to trip j step on people!! That was a false accusation you made in this situation!! It helped solve nothing it's wrong advise on how to handle or deal with problematic clients this or with any client!!!!😒😒😳

I started doing makeup in LA almost 20 years ago. As a resident and professional I’ve seen it all. This scenario sounds spot on. Makeup artists and hairstylists are always thrown in the trick bag because a lot of these celebrities show up late and act like divas. I’ve actually had a few steal makeup from my kit (yes, even with all that $$ in the bank). I was lucky to not have anything this extreme happen but they tend to be extremely self absorbed. You did not deserve that at all. Your tears are valid. I think the lesson is to NEVER put anyone on a pedestal. We are sovereign beings. Our value is our birthright and is not defined by any person, relationship, status or monetary gain. Period. I moved to LA at 19 and have partied with A listers and I can tell you that not being star struck kept me from being swayed or impressed (or pardon my French- it kept me from getting screwed literally). Some of these folks really do believe they are above you and that you should serve them in more ways than one. Don’t believe the hype.

Some of them are freaking bossy kept telling me what to do, questioned why i do that, stuck to their handheld mirrors that prevented me from doing makeup. I am make up artist too. Sometimes smaller clients give us more bless and good vibes than the biggest.. Maybe they only give us lil money but they apreciate everything that we've done to them. We go home peacefully, no tears, no pain, they are so gratefull. Money can't buy attitude hun..

It’s so easy to judge half finished work. It’s like trying to read the first draft of a book and telling the author it’s trash. I used to get so frustrated when I draw because I would judge myself on how I draw the guidelines. Like creativity is so stressful because theres no right or wrong and people will always see things differently.
The fact that you didn’t get paid is a lawsuit. You deserve compensation for your time and the work you did complete.

I saw some of the stars on LHH Hollywood & ATL and first off, they're ugly as shit in person & they look like walking plastic inflated barbies.
