I lost my hair, eyebrows. Everything I loved about my appearance was taken from me by cancer. My hair is growing back but it will be a while until it is long and blonde again. Your videos have given me joy and helped me this past year. Thank you.
So sorry to hear about your cancer. I hope you are recovering from whatever treatment you received and wish you all the positive thoughts to help you through it all. Long ago I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and suffered a reoccurrence months after surgery so know how hard it can be. It did make me stronger and it made me a fighter for myself and my body meaning I took control of what a doctor can or cannot do to me. In any case, I agree that watching someone positive like Lisa can make anyone's day a better one.
I’m a 63 year old who still loves all the makeup, clothes and styles that I did years ago. I still cut up my tee shirts and wear ripped jeans and flip flops and bikinis. The best thing you can do for yourself as you grow older is be true to who you are and what you live!

I’ve been thinking. Lisa. Some may look at you like you’ve had a charmed life. Things have been easy for you. I have looked at others like wow they’ve had it easy. But then last night as I was praying, God spoke to me about that. When you put God first there’s help there’s peace there’s community. I was brought up in church with large extended family always present. But my parents took me to church sent me to catholic school and prayed to keep me safe. There’s something to be said for that. Family!!!! You can start today by letting God in. He will bring you family peace opportunities love safety and hope. Even if your completely broke and alone. You’ve said over and over “I’ve been blessed so I bless!”. I love that!!!!! Keep using your voice in this space to help us learn truth and what’s important. God Bless.

Love your authenticity! I would love to see a video for us older gals with hooded eyes that can’t afford surgery. Like you mentioned how you used to apply darker eyeshadow before the surgery, or how we could help disguise it. Also, any suggestions for crows feet. I’m a teacher so can’t afford Botox either lol.
One thing I found, is to put some tretinoin just above your eyes, under the brow bone. Let it sit for a few minutes. Then apply some moisturizer over it for the night. It actually will lift your lids over time.

Yesss; love the idea of how you & John are the Power Couple: Redefined!!! My husband and I - of 33 years - are separated and have been for a couple of years. We still love one another but cannot live together harmoniously. There are certain ‘issues’ at play but I believe any tips you have could only help. We both hope we end up together in the end and I’m praying for that but I’m not codependent on him for happiness anymore and that is a blessing in and of itself!! Thanx for everything!!💘💘💘

For the person who sees this and asked about self tanner, Coola face as well as the gradual lotion is amazing for daily or occasional use. I can use this once or twice and it’s enough color for me especially outside of summer. St Tropez. Classic is good for when you need a darker tan. I stopped tanning in the Sun it at age 32. I have tried every self tanner they make and these are the best. Always wash your hands though.

Thank you Lisa for this Q&A. I have tried to explain to my husband about eating low carb. I can order food to be made a specific way. He is always trying to accommodate and say “you can’t eat this or that” or “what are you going to eat?” I told him not to worry about it, my choice to eat a restricted diet and I will learn to work around these restaurants and get togethers. As long as there is a protein, salad and oil and vinegar for dressing I can make it work!
On the talk about your daughter's temper tantrum and how you just let them be who they were. My dad told us kids multiple times that he liked being around us so much that if we weren't his kids, he would want to be our friend. That's a testament to how he raised us. He also wanted us to be smarter than him. These 2 things that dad always wanted for us is what I have and love about my kids. I like them for who they are, and I love hanging around them. And they are definitely smarter than me. And by the way, I loved hanging around my parents! Love that!!!

Hi Lisa, I love your channel and your fashion sense! My husband does the keto diet but splurges on Saturday. I actually feel that there are some flaws in thinking that people can just eat beef and get all the nutrients they need because for one thing, when cows eat plants (usually not fruits and veggies) those are converted into muscle, fat and other tissues. Humans and cows have different digestive systems and nutritional requirements. Cows are ruminants with a specialized stomach that allows them to digest cellulose from plants and convert it into nutrients. Humans, on the other hand, have a single-chambered stomach and cannot derive the same nutrients from plant matter that cows do. Fruits and vegetables contain essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber not available in meat. But then, if it works for folks, then I guess it does. My life changed when I stopped eating gluten which is in so much food these days. After stopping gluten, I never get sick anymore. Keep up the good work, and thanks for all the fab videos!
I agree with Brooke I have tried so many self tanners and the Loving Tan Mousse, I always go back to. Has the most natural color for me and easy to apply because it is colored.

Love your authenticity! I would love to see a video for us older gals with hooded eyes that can’t afford surgery. Like you mentioned how you used to apply darker eyeshadow before the surgery, or how we could help disguise it. Also, any suggestions for crows feet. I’m a teacher so can’t afford Botox either lol.
One thing I found, is to put some tretinoin just above your eyes, under the brow bone. Let it sit for a few minutes. Then apply some moisturizer over it for the night. It actually will lift your lids over time.

I’d love to see a video about you and John being a power couple. I remember in a video about a year ago you said you’re not paranoid or worried about John cheating or passing away. You said you’d be sad but it wouldn’t destroy you because you wouldn’t let it. That has always stuck with me and I’ve often wondered how you developed and maintain such a strong and confident sense of self.

Yesss; love the idea of how you & John are the Power Couple: Redefined!!! My husband and I - of 33 years - are separated and have been for a couple of years. We still love one another but cannot live together harmoniously. There are certain ‘issues’ at play but I believe any tips you have could only help. We both hope we end up together in the end and I’m praying for that but I’m not codependent on him for happiness anymore and that is a blessing in and of itself!! Thanx for everything!!💘💘💘

For the person who sees this and asked about self tanner, Coola face as well as the gradual lotion is amazing for daily or occasional use. I can use this once or twice and it’s enough color for me especially outside of summer. St Tropez. Classic is good for when you need a darker tan. I stopped tanning in the Sun it at age 32. I have tried every self tanner they make and these are the best. Always wash your hands though.

Thank you Lisa for this Q&A. I have tried to explain to my husband about eating low carb. I can order food to be made a specific way. He is always trying to accommodate and say “you can’t eat this or that” or “what are you going to eat?” I told him not to worry about it, my choice to eat a restricted diet and I will learn to work around these restaurants and get togethers. As long as there is a protein, salad and oil and vinegar for dressing I can make it work!
On the talk about your daughter's temper tantrum and how you just let them be who they were. My dad told us kids multiple times that he liked being around us so much that if we weren't his kids, he would want to be our friend. That's a testament to how he raised us. He also wanted us to be smarter than him. These 2 things that dad always wanted for us is what I have and love about my kids. I like them for who they are, and I love hanging around them. And they are definitely smarter than me. And by the way, I loved hanging around my parents! Love that!!!

Hi Lisa, I love your channel and your fashion sense! My husband does the keto diet but splurges on Saturday. I actually feel that there are some flaws in thinking that people can just eat beef and get all the nutrients they need because for one thing, when cows eat plants (usually not fruits and veggies) those are converted into muscle, fat and other tissues. Humans and cows have different digestive systems and nutritional requirements. Cows are ruminants with a specialized stomach that allows them to digest cellulose from plants and convert it into nutrients. Humans, on the other hand, have a single-chambered stomach and cannot derive the same nutrients from plant matter that cows do. Fruits and vegetables contain essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber not available in meat. But then, if it works for folks, then I guess it does. My life changed when I stopped eating gluten which is in so much food these days. After stopping gluten, I never get sick anymore. Keep up the good work, and thanks for all the fab videos!
I agree with Brooke I have tried so many self tanners and the Loving Tan Mousse, I always go back to. Has the most natural color for me and easy to apply because it is colored.
