Lisa ,I turned 60 this year and have blonde highlights and my hair is to the middle of my back,and people in my family hound me about having long hair, put it up in a " messy" bun yesterday , and although it is supposed to be messy I spent time making it look good, my daughter said you try to hard what difference does it make you're 6o! Yes I'm 60 been divorced for 4 yrs, have no desire to date and put all my energy in to my granddaughter. and I work full time. I wear a full face of makeup and do my hair, what is wrong with wanting to look nice? My response was I'm 60, not dead! I loved this video you are a true inspiration to be your authentic self!

I love that you are so authentic! I think the reason you get negative comments is jealousy. Most women WANT to look and act younger, but don’t want to put in the effort. I’m a hair stylist and I see it every day. ‘I want my hair to look like ________, but I want to wash and go’.

Great Video! Funny about people saying you want to look younger. When I decided to let my hair go gray, you wouldn't believe the nasty mean comments I got. Like: People will think I'm my Husband's Mother, or It's really going to age you. Or women would say that they will NEVER go gray. I've been gray since I was 50. I'm now 59. I get compliments all the time on my Silver hair. I've learned that you just need to please yourself.

I could not love this more! I am 58, & you have shown me how to dress for ME, by setting the example yourself. I did not even realize how much I have learned until recently…I cannot run into the grocery store or run into my adult children’s friends without getting compliments. I am always surprised because I am certainly not trying to draw attention. I do not enjoy shopping & getting dressed for work everyday has been the bane of my existence…until I started following you 3 yrs ago. I also have never felt you are trying to look younger or whatever your critics might say…I always leave your videos feeling inspired to be the best me I can be today. I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy watching you, how you dress, how you share about yourself but keep other things to yourself like your lovely family. I love how you have introduced me to different brands, perfumes, makeup. I found you through Ms. Tammy long ago when she lived in Buffalo. Boy have you two gone through a lot of changes. Watching you has allowed me to be more accepting of myself and the things that I love and interest me because we are very similar in so many ways, but I have always felt guilty about loving clothes and makeup and jewelry and wanting to always look my best. When I was going through my divorce at age 56, I felt like life was over for me, but you watch Lisa and she's so sweet and kind and beautiful and caring , it's like sitting down with a friend, I started trying new makeup and said hell ya why not grow my hair long and go blonde , so I did and started getting some confidence, she did that for me and she doesn't even know it, but most importantly if she did she wouldn't take credit for it! I ASSUME she that gracious.

Thanks for all of your hard work! I really enjoy your videos. I started watching in the beginning of the pandemic. I love fashion, beauty, and shopping too. I had someone make a comment to me at work a while ago about dressing younger than my age and it was hurtful because I dress professionally but fashionable (and I’m not dressing that way to look younger. ) I made a promise to myself as a teenager to always look and dress how I want to look and not how society wants me to look (for reference, I dressed goth in high school and was ridiculed on a daily basis.) It has nothing to do with wanting to look younger, but has to do with who I am as a person. I already look younger for my age - I don’t need to try. It’s really sad that some women feel the need to tear other women down because deep down they do not feel good about themselves.

Great video Lisa! I have been a follower of yours for a few years now. I love your fashion risks that you take and I love all of your suggestions and ideas! For me, it’s very hard to find influencers that inspire me and you do just that. I’m 63 years old and when you get into my demographic, it gets even tougher to find influencers That combine edgy with classy. I have long blonde hair and I’m a size 2, and I don’t wanna wear boxy oversized stuff that a lot of older influencers seem to encourage. You are a joy and a delight and I love your beautiful loving spirit. I have a routine with your new videos that come out. I go upstairs and take my shower and then I sit down in front of my mirror and apply my make up while I watch your latest video. It’s just a fun way to feel like I’m sitting and having a chat with a girlfriend.

I got my husband a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for Christmas, and she is the sweetest puppy. It has been 15 years since we last had a dog. We have 1 velcro cat, and this dog will go everywhere with us. She is a lot of work, but she is a small breed that will mature fast. And I really can't stand people spouting negative. It is rude... you be you... I love your videos... I’m 52 and love watching your videos. Some of the outfits you put together is not my style but I still enjoy watching them. I would hope that we all wear things that make us feel good and I thank you for trying to give different options to us when you do the hauls.

I’m 57 and fairly new to your channel, but we have a few things in common. I have a 23-year-old daughter, am 5’6”, wear size 4 or 6 in jeans, size 8 shoes, and am a down-to-earth homebody. Just like you. I love how genuinely excited you get when you open your packages! So I think I’ll keep watching. 🙂

Lisa I absolutely love your style and your inspiring outfit ideas... I am 51 years old and LOVE being able to pull together black sweatpants, a bodysuit, a Walmart furry yeti coat with cool girl slides and feel FABULOUS running around getting stuff done. It makes me so happy and yeah, I guess when you're happy and comfortable it comes across as "trying to look young", lol. There are other channels that can do Chico's and Coldwater Canyon stuff, but please keep doing your authentic, wonderful, cheap and cheery "with an edge" content! You're my favorite! ❤❤❤ 😊

WOW, You amaze me! I love the way you think. Keep up with what you are doing! You look great! I am a carnivore too and I'm loving all the clothes I can now wear it's so much fun!
