Don't you love the baby pictures shown as each member of the bands sings? Roy Orbison still alive when this video came out. This band is the best of the best!
Roy Orbison had asked if he could come and watch the rest make the video! George Harrison said are you kidding? If your here you are going to sing too!
Jeff Lynn is one of the best music producers of the modern rock/pop era, he's produced for pop royalty like the Beatles and others Roy Orbison burst into tears of appreciation after Jeff Reformatted few of his numbers for him when he was in a bad way roy had such a tragic life (in his Wife's words Jeff rescued his career and in my opinion his poor health took him away from us far to early, many modern day artists who could not quite put there finger on the produced finished number Jeff helped them out, the guys a musical genius the likes of come along now and then, a raw product of the sixties and seventies, a time when the music came from your instrument and the voice from your vocal cords no digital correction devices just wonderful artistic creation and natural talent and still going strong last i heard, there is so much amazing music down Jeff Lynn's particular rabbit hole you wont be disapointed and may not come out the same as you went in
Hap, you put a lot of emphasis on the song, and that's great, but what's really astonishing is the fact that we have 5 "legends" here. Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison., Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne. Among the group, Roy was my favorite, and was a huge influence on many great musicians. Looking forward to more of these reactions.
And Bob Dylan! Not sure about the cloaked person, but I am intrigued now. I told you, this is a MUST LISTEN song! You have two albums worth of great songs with this supergroup. Unfortunately only two members are alive nowadays. Listen to INSiDE OUT or NOT ALONE ANYMORE. TWEETER AND THE MONKEY MAN is a great one, and is full of Bruce Springsteen catalog references, hard to spot if you're not a deep fan. Thanks you, great reactions!
I really liked this song. The voices that stand out to me as unique are Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. Of course all here are legends. Absolute Legends. 🌻🌻
George is a legend as well. I miss him, Tom, Roy. These guys meant more to me in 1988 than, dare I say it, Guns n Roses, George Michael, Whitney Houston.
There’s a great documentary on TH-cam about the Wilburys. I love their two albums, especially the first. Just a bunch of famous friends messing about. The album was recorded in the kitchen & other rooms....not in a studio at all. One song has lyrics with them just reading random words out of a magazine
Yes right that's what I meant. End of the line, played that song twice a day when I had relaxing moves for shoulders and backs with co-workers before I retired.
George got the name of this song off of a cardboard box in Bob Dylan's garage that read, ( Handle With Care)! Just love these lyrics written by each one of the 5. George Harrison Beatles) Jeff Lynn ( ELO ) Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and, Tom Petty! It was wrote in Bob Dylan's home in California!
Both Jeff Lynne and George Harrison formed the Wilburys. The full group wrote this song, though Jeff is known to combine darker lyrics with upbeat music. Another classic FU lyrics and chirpy music combo is Jeff’s collaboration with Tom Petty on “I Won’t Back Down” from Petty’s Full Moon Fever.
In between this lovely video and the one you reacted to last time (End Of The Line) sadly, Roy passed away shortly after recording with the other guys, and that's why they included a rocking chair with his photo on it in the video as a tribute to his contribution.
FANTASTIC SONG BY THIS SUPER GROUP!! DEFINITELY A PICK ME UP! HAP, YOU HAVE A UNBELIEVABLE EYE FOR DETAIL! THAT CLOAKED IMAGE WAS SO SMALL, BUT I'M NOT 😮 SURPRISED.YOU CAUGHT IT GREAT REACTION AS ALWAYS!💜🎶🎶🎶👍
Never noticed that cloaked figure before. Good catch! I'm interested in your question, too. Jeff Lynne produced a few of these artists around this time - George Harrison's Cloud Nine and then Full Moon Fever by Tom Petty.
Thanks for appreciating my commentary Rob!! Yeah not sure why that cloaked figure was there, and whose walking across? perhaps symbolic 🤔 Like it was for End Of The Line for Roy. But everyone is here for this one.
Harrison needed a B side for a single. He got together with these other guys and recorded this. Written in one day at Bob Dylan's house. He asked Bob for some lyrics and Bob asked what the name of the song was. George saw a box in the garage that said "Handle With Care" so he just said that. Too good to be a B side, they decided to make an album. Bob was going on tour so they only had 9 days to write and record 9 other songs. So, they did that. Every song on the album is solid. Tom, George, and Roy have passed on, but they left an amazing legacy. Jim Keltner, the drummer, rarely gets mentioned but he provides that rock solid beat. In one song, he played the refrigerator. Seriously, he played Bob Dylan's refrigerator for the unique sounds.
It was George Harrison & Jeff Lynne who started The Travelling Willburts ..but they asked Roy to join in, then went to Bob Dylan's studio in his garage to record & Tom Petty was there so as all were friends in one wa or another, the super group was born. Try reacting to the Tribute to Geo re ge Harrison, starring Jeff Lynne, Prince, Tom Petty, Dhani Harrison (George's sin) when George & Prince were inducted into The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame (& the last image shows Olivia Harrison - George's widow & Dhani"s Mum, watching & applauding in the audience. (p.s. sorry for typos, U am nearly blind & only see everything very faintly. 💞
This 'super group' happened completely by accident. And when you consider the talent and success of each individual, there were no egos in this group. Love their music.
Roy Orbison died after the first record. George Harrison put the Band together. Jeff Lyne was sound engenier/producer of most George Harrison's records. Also some Tom Petty's songs
This song started out to be a B side for George Harrison's upcoming single. Everybody involved on all levels said it was too good to be a B side of anything.
They use the term supergroup too often but in this case they truly were a supergroup.. Funny that you should have mentioned the postal service because they go the idea of the title when they saw it stamped on a box
Wow 😯 even that shows how much Hap is linked in 'The music do the talking' right there! But good back story to know. Thank you for sharing it Theresa. 🎶
The second singer is the late great Roy Orbison. One of the best voices ever. Roy was a quirky guy, but incredibly talented. These are the five original members. Three are gone, George, Roy and Tom Petty. They are greatly missed. The last guitar solo was Georgie playing slide if you watch the guitar players George is the only one moving up and down the neck. Roy Orbison, the second soloist this is who the rocking chair was for in the first video. You really should listen to his hits. To really get an idea of his vocal ability and range listen to, 'Running Scared'. That isn't a falsetto voice at the end either. Thanks for a great reaction.
The cloaked figure is just one of the camera men... you see them many times. You see many people on the side, Mike Campbell (Heartbreaker) and Olivia Harrison the most famous.
After Roy’s passing live She’s My Baby official video Rock There is also a documentary that came out titled The Story of the Traveling Wilburys that you should watch.
AND Bob Dylan. The songs are good because essentially "Beatle" tunes. George sings and plays lead guitar lead on this. Harmonica: Bob Dylan. The song is about the experience of fame by people who've experienced. "Oh, the sweet smell of success" is certainly an inside joke.
Busca la versión en directo de Tom pettyy en directo, soungarden, precio, aunque ya no esté el.lavetsion es precioso, perdona solo es un consejo y te lo digo en español, thank you 🎶👏
George Harrison did the guitar solo And the vocals of Tom Petty Jeff Lynn Roy Orbison And u missed the legendary Bob Dylan And these gentleman hated the term super group
The great jim Keltner on drums!
Don't you love the baby pictures shown as each member of the bands sings? Roy Orbison still alive when this video came out. This band is the best of the best!
Bob Dylan was also part of this “supergroup”.
Check out Wilbury Twist. Really fun high energy song.
Thanks! 😬
As a child we created a dance to it. Such a fun song.
Hello..Bob Dylan!!!!
Roy Orbison had asked if he could come and watch the rest make the video! George Harrison said are you kidding? If your here you are going to sing too!

I became an adult during this period and this was the song and group. Love everyone of them.
Cheers man!!! Roy's voice is something else.
And Bob Dylan! Not sure about the cloaked person, but I am intrigued now. I told you, this is a MUST LISTEN song! You have two albums worth of great songs with this supergroup. Thanks and ✅ noted Liliana. 🙂
The band members were Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, George Harrison. Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne
Geoff Lynne, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison are playing and singing.
Roy Orbison’s “Crying” is iconic. And his later duet with kd lang is great too.
I really liked this song. The voices that stand out to me as unique are Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. Of course all here are legends. Absolute Legends. 🌻🌻
They can really tell a story and make it sound fun! That's a skill in itself, let alone keeping it comical.
@@HAP3SPEAKZ It gives the illusion that they are just playing around. But they are truly performing a genuine song. Great reaction also!!
George is a legend as well. I miss him, Tom, Roy. These guys meant more to me in 1988 than, dare I say it, Guns n Roses, George Michael, Whitney Houston.

Love the sound of that 12 string Bob is playing.
Roy Orbison died, the guitar in the chair represented him
Yes in the video, End Of The Line.
Yes right that's what I meant. End of the line, played that song twice a day when I had relaxing moves for shoulders and backs with co-workers before I retired.
Que grande seslbknsifad!! thank you
George Harrison put this band together, played the guitar solo and co-produced the recording with Jeff Lynne.
Absolutely love the Wilburys ❤️ Great. Crusin music😎
Hap, I've listened to Roy since the 50s. He has a gorgeous voice.they are all good but Roy's is outstanding. 👍👍👍💖💖💖💖 good pick hap, 🍻💞💞
It was George, not Jeff, who actually brought the group together, though Jeff was the one who suggested Roy be part of it.
Jeff Lynne is so massively underrated in everything he has done.
His nickname is Jeff the Genius. I don't think he's underrated at all.
Jeff Lynn produced the last #1 hit by the Beatles in the USA called Free As A Bird in 1997. Must see music video!
Your choice is always great. Thanks!!!!
Great, great musicians.
The super-group to end all super-groups.

My friend, you HAVE to listen to "YOU GOT IT " they're greatest HIT ☯️✌ PEACE

Take a look at the Wilburys video of "Last Night" and try to work out who is on it?
Don't forget Bob Dylan
The guitar on the chair in the other video: Roy Orbison had died.
Please do / Roy Orbison - I Drove All Night. / There was something special about his voice.
Busca la versión en directo de Tom pettyy en directo, soungarden, precio, aunque ya no esté el.lavetsion es precioso, perdona solo es un consejo y te lo digo en español, thank you 🎶👏
What other rock group has a noble prize winner in it. Bob Dylan has a noble prize for literature. No it was George Harrison that got them all together
Do some steely Dan mate!
Dont forget Bob Dylan
ok thanks, still learning.
George Harrison. Beatles..hello..lol
And Bob Dylan.
Bob Dylan
I thought the couple walking away looked like John Lennon & Yoko Ono
George Harrison did the guitar solo
And the vocals of
Tom Petty
Jeff Lynn
Roy Orbison
And u missed the legendary
Bob Dylan
And these gentleman hated the term super group
After Roy passed, they offered Del Shannon an opportunity to join the group, and he killed himself.
Wow... he took the group invitation that badly, huh?
I think it was George Harrison.
