One account that shares gold! Andy your one amazing and enlightening teacher I’m so grateful I found your platform I’ve learned a lot being that all my previous work history as a young entrepreneur stylist in the midst of a career change that has never experienced a formal interview can be a terrifying experience to embark on.
I got my current job by applying your teachings to my interviews. 3 years later I'm ready for a new challenge and need bto learn interview strategies again. Interviews are next week. Thanks Andy !
Hi Andrew, it's Liz again! Have an interview coming up next week and this talk is exactly what I need! Thanks so much for your great work. Love the cue cards!
Andy, it is this (telling the right stories) and these steps to investigate what stories need to be told, that will land the position. I've got more homework to do. Thanks again!
Hi Andy, I agree with your suggestions but what if the “right story” is from the time I worked at Playboy? I’m sure you’re aware that Playboy is just like any other company except that it focuses on adult entertainment and the interviewer might get offended even though I won’t mention anything inappropriate. Am I over thinking this and should I just tell the story?
@@andylacivita Thanks Andy! I’m proud of the experience that I gained at Playboy, and I appreciate to have worked and represent a brand that’s recognized around the world. I just needed to hear from a professional recruiter that it OK to talk that experience when it’s relevant.
Hi Andrew, I hope your doing well. For the career change, the LinkedIn headline should be written with the job position that I have now or the one that I am looking for? Doesn’t matter if doesn’t reflect my present job title? Also, all the career profile and career highlights narrative should be directed towards the target position? Target position is really close to my education but in the last few years I had a slight change, now I would like to go back. Thank you so much!
I have tons of stories. But a lot of times it seems like my stories don't fit what they are asking!! Amazon has a question bank of like 140 different possible interview questions.
Put in the work consistently and then you won’t need to worry about the physical prep. Mentally, I run the mile I’m in. That is, my mind is where my feet are. When it stays there, you can accomplish anything! 🏊🚴♂️🏃♂️👊
Thanks for the motivational tip. Sorry this was an off-topic question. You have also helped me prepare for my upcoming interviews. Much appreciated on sharing your trade secrets and job hunting techniques.@@andylacivita

Thanks.

So glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for making this video. This is a very good video with great content that I think many folks don’t take advantage of.
You’re welcome!
Hello Andy,
Any suggestion on the best way to answer the question:
What would we miss out on if we dont hire you?
Cheers
Eiad
Great stuff....
Thanks!
This episode is gold 🌟
THANK YOU BETH!
As always, answers to questions before I asked. This one gets me the job if all the other ones get me the interview🤞🏻
Just in time for my phone interview on Friday. 😊
Perf. :-)
@@andylacivita I'm binge-watching (more like binge-listening to) your interview videos. 😁
@@NanceeMarin congratulations

Thank YOU!!

I’d use it. If an interviewer doesn’t get that, I wouldn’t want to work for that company!

Good 👍

Andrew, I want to buy your index cards 😁
😂❤️👊
I wish you gave examples for this. Very good content but without examples it’s only theoretical and harder to apply.
Check my interview playlist. it's filled with examples.
How do you mentally and physically prepare for an Ironman? 😅
