Are you using the stock pinion? If so that's your problem..the 0808 has a 2mm shaft, the stock motor has a 2.3mm...castle actually put a statement on their website about it
@@juliart yes it will take a break inbetween batteries I ended up blowing this motor out I now have a 1010 motor in this will be finishing video and running it today
@@canceledczech457 Yeah, same. I did try a Kingval 2835 motor but that also still runs super hot. probably should have juist gotten the 1010, or maybe the 1007...

how are your motor temperatures? I have the same system but 4100KV and mine runs HOT.

Put the 0808 in my typhon yesterday, definitely not enough torque for a 2lb 4x4 buggy..gets pretty hot...1010 here i come
