Thanks for the video on 45’s! Earlier this year, I bought 20 boxes of records with a total of approximately 12,000 45’s at an estate sale. I’ve sold a few boxes since and have tripled my original investment. I still have about 10,000 to go! I don’t think I have any of those you mentioned in the video but I’ll have to go back through the remaining ones again. Lots of duplicate rock from the 50’s thru the 80’s, some with picture sleeves, and a few hundred promos, which I like the best. It’s just like looking thru baseball cards! I think the guy had a jukebox business several years ago. Thanks again for the info!

I have loads of promo LPs as my dad, later me, worked @ NBC (30 Rock used to be so beautiful, they ruined so much like the lifts😢) & the DJs would put out piles of records they were culling. Both of us would pick up stuff for me😉! I worked in nightclubs & booked bands so I’d get promo EPs (omg just recalled super old Beastie Boys & Duran, Duran) so I’d get stuff that way. Then there’s all the 45s people would throw in when I’d do a clothing buyout, no sleeves though. Discogs drives me crazy! It keeps telling me my “Ziggy” album I purchased back when it came out is from Canada, should be printed on both cover, sleeve & album- nope it’s made here & I bought it here, crazy! Always like your record videos. First live I ever watched was the one where you bought a bunch if vinyl and you and your wife randomly pulled out albums and talked about them. I have a jukebox and a few thousand 45s. When I look through a large number of 45s I mainly just look for unusual labels.
IMO, that's a good way to choose 45s to purchase at yard sales. You can land a rare garage band, or a promo copy of some track that never got much distribution.
I'd add "Line & Track" by The Aquamen to your list. I've seen this only in a promo pressing; sold a NM copy four years ago to a UK collector of "northern soul" 45s for about US $700.
Speaking of novices! As a novice record buyer seller, I inadvertently, listed a 45 as having a title strip. I thought the title strip was the center of the record. I was dressed down royally by a prospective eBay buyer. He called me names and told me I was too stupid to sell on eBay! I probably am too stupid to sell a record! However, I do now know where the title strip is. This might be a good topic for a future video.

Have recently found, but have not bought yet (It will be my Christmas present for myself ha ha) so after looking for this 45 for over 46 years+, I found a super clean copy of one of the rarest group records...a 1953 red wax pressing by the Spaniels "Baby it's you" on Veejay the first label, and it was released on Chance also, as the Veejay pressing was # 101, and Veejay was just a small organization in 1953, so Vee jay contracted out to Chance for major distribution..Chance copy sold many, but Veejay did not...which makes this 45 rpm on of the rarest group records of all time.
I found a Nikon L35AF Japan Film Camera at the Goodwill Clearance Center. I paid $1. Highest ebay solds showing $300. I don't know if it works. But it's at least in very good condition.
One I’d like to mention is the song black Betty by Starstruck-sung by the original singer and lead guitarist (Bill Bartlett)of RamJam band .starstruck’s is the original version (before his later version on Epic with RamJam).It is on the Truckstar label from Cleveland Ohio, I think. it is a lot more rocking and raw ;also much rarer.
