    Beading in the brakes right ✅. The new slotted and drilled rotors make it look 👌🏻.

    Wasnt sure between silver and black but never thought that the black inside the holes would be more contrast, good thought!

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Years later and 60k miles the holes are still black and the rotor hat. Nothing has worn off yet.

      @@CarsWithKeav damn, bummed now because I can't find em in black for my car haha. They have the set in silver but somehow not in black?
      Anyways, are your set still working well?

      @@MrSwaggernaut83 Working great only thing is I changed out pads at 40k miles on them. When I was shopping R1 concepts for my cars even with them supplying them it was very hard to get what I wanted. I wanted these in black for my 335, but could only get the silver and had to pay extra for the Geo Carbon series to get that color. It was around Covid so supplies were real bad then.

      @@CarsWithKeav gotcha gotcha, glad you got what you wanted eventually, and yea the pads def wear quicker, can get a few sets in before the rotors get too bad probably. Take care 🙏🏽

    Good stuff! Just ordered some for my Honda fit. Drilled and slotted rotors will look great behind my Konigs and super affordable.
    Thanks for the break in process steps too. Video is much easier than reading it.

    How are the rotors holding up? R1 told me to go with OEP pads for racing/street compared to ceramic pads. Hawk brakes don’t make pads for my car unfortunately.

    • @CarsWithKeav

      I am unsure as not too long after this video they changed how they distribute their brakes using Amazon and other sites. I never orders these as they sent them to me for the video. @@WhiteBeardDetail I’m not sure my knowledge on brakes isn’t that great. It’s possible as a track car, but it is longer and modifications for the 440 are limited compared to a 340. B58 is solid from what I hear on the track. Oil starvation doesn’t seem to be an issue like the previous N55.
