    I got the same rotors but different pads let me know how those feel cause the ones I got had a lot of brake fade but for the record it wasn’t ceramic

      @MotoRevs  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Well, on a daily driving basis, I experience no fading whatsoever. However, on some fast backroad twisties, I do get a significant amount of fade. To be fair, the F10 weighs more or less 5,000 pounds, and I don't have the stopping power of an M5. With hard, spirited driving, fading will occur - I just pull over and let them cool down a bit, nothing major!

      Hey! Just an update on this comment. I said the brakes had a lot of fade - but at the time they weren't really broken into. After driving for a couple of months with them, they do not show any fade in spirited driving. Driving hard and fast in the twisty roads, I don't feel fade anymore. I feel very confident in their stopping power and cooling, so I guess they just needed to be broken in a little more!

      @@MotoRevs thats good info! Thanks for the follow up man. I was looking at these pads, akebeeno, and brembos...it's definitely a toss up between the bunch 😂

      I'd say so! I also have to say, I'm extremely pleased and impressed with the Optimum OEp pads. They feel great, but that's just my take. Experiment, and see which you like most!

    I wonder how these rotors would stack against the bison performance rotor kit?

    • @MotoRevs
      @MotoRevs  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not too sure, I haven't seen or heard any reviews of them, nor have I personally had any experience with them. To be honest, I haven't really heard much about the Bisom brand at all.

    Hey I’m trying to get rear rotors for my f10 mine is 2011 msport but would it still be the same size? Or would I get the 345mm?

    • @MotoRevs
      @MotoRevs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, I'm not sure. I'd say your rear rotors would most likely be the 330mm option, as the fronts usually are 345mm.

    Hi, I was going to install the same brakes on my f10. Do you think they're worth it? Are these brakes good?

    • @MotoRevs
      @MotoRevs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I absolutely would say so! They have been nothing but amazing thus far. They stop great, feel great, and I always get questions and compliments about them. The main thing, of course, is the stopping power. It seriously feels like a race car sometimes with just how good these things stop - literally on a dime. Impressive stuff. All-in-all, I am so happy with them, and I'm sure you will be too.

    Are this better than powerstop?

    • @MotoRevs
      @MotoRevs  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't tried PowerStop first-hand, so I can't say for sure. I'm sure someone has compared the two, but I haven't. Thanks for watching!

    The used ones weighed less because they’ve lost material over the years

    • @MotoRevs
      @MotoRevs  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow, you know I never really thought about that. That makes complete sense! I'll see if I can weigh a new OEM rotor in the future... thanks for the insight!
