I weigh 126 kgs. I started ketosis diet I will start my fasting from 4pm everyday to 2pm the next day with just water. Between 2pm and 4pm I would eat just veges, chicken and 1 apple then start fasting again from 4pm to 2pm the next day.
I have lost 6kgs in just 1 week.

I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. thank you for your video it's time to make a change.

I went from 265 to 180 in 8 months by eating olive oil, spinach, rice, steak, and chicken every night while drinking water and protein bars during the day. I just didn’t think about food. I had dying dog and a lot of other things to deal with other than staying a fatty. I know it’s harsh but it’s the truth. My family would constantly tell me I looked sick and to regain weight. Years later, I understand now they just were not used to me being at that weight. Don’t let anybody discourage you. It hurts too don’t aim to be skinny. Once you get to your desired weight according to your height then please eat accordingly and try to put on muscle. Best of luck my friends.

I started a 16:8 after visiting my doc who recommended it.
Until my doc suggested it, I thought I.F. was a fad that was like so many others.
At first it was a bit daunting but after a few days it felt routine and not dificult at all. My mental clarity has increased and have even felt euphoric at times.
I noticed yesterday that I was using a new belt hole and my clothes seem more loose.
Ive lost 11 pounds in 2 and a half weeks.
This is an eating style I can stick with.
    One recommendation:
Commit to this for at least a couple of months. It will reinforce a great habit within you.
For me this diet feels revolutionary.

Green Tea on the other hand tends to dampen hunger pangs.
I have lost weight and the reason i post this comment, is not to brag, but to say that i was a total slave to a diet high in sugar and never imagined that i could have the strength to curtail my appetite, eat healthier and loose weight.

@@ashantic6171 Hey, I never fasted. I ate 5-6 meals a day. You could fast without exercise, but I would recommend you do strength training to prevent muscle atrophy during your fast. It is also important to drink a lot of water during fasting.
In general, I would not recommend intermittent fasting in the first place because there are better and more enjoyable ways to lose weight and still get the same benefits.
Intermittent fasting in my opinion has more disadvantages than benefits, especially if you’re alternating between bulking and cutting.
Perhaps you could still exercise, but focus more on upper body exercises and machines if you have a bad knee?

However this is how I've naturally ate since as long as I can remember..3 years old and up. The times in my life where I worked longer days so ate over a longer period and fasted shorter, was the ONLY time my weight began to climb. It was a temporary work assignment. Once it was over and I reverted back, it was gone in about a month or so. I just sleep 8-9 hrs solid every night and don't have an appetite until afternoon.

Best advice on this matter! I’m pretty tired of videos on intermittent fasting that push keto dieting and extreme dieting. I do 18:6 and calorie counting and I have lost so far 12 kg. I still need to loose 3 more kilograms to reach a healthy weight.

I’ve enjoyed my time transitioning to fasting. Currently eating once a day around 6:30am, Greek yogurt, almonds, macadamia nuts, pistachios, chia seeds, quinoa and blueberries all in a parfait. Lost 26 pounds in a month while having a very physically demanding job.

I was 240ibs when I started at Christmas 2022 and currently, now I'm 207ibs I only consume 700 calories a day sometimes 100/200 calories and even some days I do a fast I eat at 6pm and only eat 1 meal per day eat at 6pm every day and you always on a 23.5 hour fast remember trying this type of diet means it's ok to have a cheat meal 1/2 times per week but don't go overboard I will come back to this comment in 1 year if I remember to keep you updated on my progress I hope to be 160ibs.

It's important to avoid all ultra processed foods liek bread, pasta, biscuits, junk foods, fast foods, all sweet and baked items containing sugar and all canned and contained food items filled with preservatives and emulsifiers.
    Focus on whole foods.

After 7days now my weight is 64.9 kg. First two days was difficult but now I'm feeling very energetic but don't eat anything during your fasting period except water. I tried many exercises but nothing worked as fast as this fasting and one more thing I want to mention that I didn't follow diet advice because holiday is going on so had pastry, biryani, rolls and all . I only followed the strict fasting 16hrs time didn't have anything during that period. I have no digestive issue. I use to do 45 minutes yoga everyday but no gym

290 TO 240 Only thing is that i eat Tuirkey sausge in the morning with a keto wrap and an egg with cheese on it. also for dinner i usually switch up between Fish/Chicken and rotate that every other day with brown rice or Brussel Sprouts.

I’m 48 and fast regularly 16:8 but don’t lose much weight. Yes I feel good and less inflammation and brain fog is diminished. Glucose levels are controllable but no weightloss. My body is less bloated but the scale 😢 is not moving

Its very unusual not to lose weight on intermittent fasting. Are you certain that you've eliminated absolutely all sweets, (both natural and artificial)? Also, could you be on a medication with a weight gain side effect?

It works in many good ways! You feel more stronger and happier . I feel satisfied and at peace with this practice. My religion always promoted this but never took it seriously. It really help clear out the whole system along with loosening weight . I lost 7 lbs in 1.5 month.. i also did low impact exercise 4 days a weeeks, mostly my lower body as i had central obesity.. I am really happy most of the time.. less allergic incidents. Good GI system, intially it was little unexpected and uncomfortable but now its so organized. I highly advocate for this unless contraindicated by your doctor based on your health situation. 🎉🎉 BTW it makes you look younger and hydrated.

Thanks Doctor. I just recently had a baby & need to lose 30 pounds. I’m starting intermittent fasting today but I’m Muslim & next month is Ramadan so I will be fasting 14-16 hours a day for a whole month. So would that incorporate with my intermittent fasting or not?

So if I eat one meal in the morning with whole-grain bread, and say for the rest of the day I fast until the next day is that a healthy method? I will also eat trail mix or fruit if I get hungry throughout the day..?

If your overweight, no. If you're normal weight, yes. Find an alternative particularly one that involves an activity that'll keep you healthy and fit.
