As far as I'm concerned, this was the video for me. It was random that it came across my page. So I watched it, and liked it. So now he has another new sub!! 😊
Im a Mustang based channel but ive been hooked on the cts-v content. I literally binge watched all of it in a few hours and im now like a junky waiting for more.
Stumbled across your channel and can’t get enough of it. Finally a channel that gets straight to business and shows the struggles of being a car enthusiast. Keep up the great content
I know the channel is the car but has anybody noticed he looks even more riveting with the shave?? Mrs. gotta love that!! Wish I could afford to buy a car done by you!!!!!!!!! Incredible work!
As the owner of an 06 STS for the last ten years & now she's got 206k on her and still strong. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and you have gain a sub from your hard work and dedication to your car.
That came out really nice and you got a great deal on your V. I bought mine with 130k miles and it had a lot of small issues (almost the exact same ones you had) and paid 11.5k a year ago. Great job man!
Chris, awesome job on the Caddi. You can also take just a regular beard trimmer with no guard and it’ll take care of the peeling on those seats. Also, you can find some regular old spray paint for plastics that match your color of seats, dip a corner of a rag into acetone and spray that same spot with the paint and touch up those stains. There’s a video on TH-cam of a guy who does this with his vehicles and it looks stellar considering cost and effort that goes into it. Looking forward to your future videos!
Hey Chris I've. Been. Watching u're videos. For. About. A week. I have. A 1968. Camaro. R s convertible u're 1969 Camaro. Drew. Me in. I love. What u do. U should. Verry proud. Of. U're self. I've. Watched. Almost. All. I think. I love what. U do. Great videos. Thank. U
Well done. You do an excellent job. Great tutorial on how to do. It is excellent to see Yankee ingenuity. Be safe and blessings to you and your family.
Mad respect for being able to not only do the work, but be able to document it and put together great editing. I am pretty handy at restoration and restomod work, but I can't do a video to save my life! Lol, great work!
@@ChrisSullivan69 This video was filled with nothing but WIN'S. No corner was cut and it seems you have worked out every kink. I too bought a 16 year old car this year. A 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT and I will say I also got one hell of a deal. Not nearly as cheap as you got but no way could mine be built for what I paid for it. I'm loving the channel brotha man and the direction it's headed.
Nice work it's amazing how well it came out and how much newer the car looks now that it is been completely detailed, yes the later model looks good but you can see that the V1 was the start of something special, and it is what started it all !!!
awesome transformation. Only things I would do if I were you is paint-less dent removal for dents Grey mats for the interior and Clyde’s leather balm to clean up the dye and cracks in the leather seats. All these imperfections fixed would make the car perfect In my opinion
I was throwing a MAF code on my V1 a few weeks ago, and after cleaning the MAF, checking all the clamps, it was still coming back. I read online that sometimes the intake mani bolts just need to be tightened a 1/2 turn. It worked for me, been 3-4 weeks since. Might be worth checking out if it comes back on you.
Man, you did an excellent job on this car! You have inspired me to work on my 2003 INFINITI M45! It needs paint, valve cover gasket and carpet (the only bad place is the driver's side carpet and seat).
This video is a pillar of what it means to put in a little hard work and get something amazing on the other end. This went from side of the road shitbox to one of the cleanest 1st gen CTS-Vs out there. Love the content brotha!
Playa! I have two give you 2 thumbs up ! I don’t even like Cadillacs and you got me watching you make so incredible that I am actually considering looking at one . Good Job ! Keep it 100 .

Love your videos brother. Very detailed and you explain it all very well. Little Rock Arkansas here and I’m tuned in. Waiting on completion of the ole skool.
Stunning! Way to bring it home. If you're worried about the small dings I'm sure they could get pulled pretty easy from a shop who does hail damage for a few hundred bucks.
I totally missed you working on this car. I guess because i didn’t start watching you videos when you had the red Vette. I really like the what you do when you do what you do, car wise. 😀😀😀😀
3 m double sided foam pads for quick release/ buy the adapter/ 3 m 36060 compound. Them nu finish with a palm sander / da with 6” black 3 m foam pad to apply the wax and remove swirls. You’ll save sooooo much time you’ll actually start smiling and being happy while you polish. Just letting you know my little tricks from 43 years of experience and trying products over the years
Chris, first time viewer and it won’t be the last. Great job on the car. There is a great product I’m seeing out there for leather restoring which is not expensive and does a great job. It’s called Clyde’s leather restorer. It dyes and colors the Hyde’s. Keep up the good content.
Well done, Chris. Love your videos and they are SO damn interesting. You are a talent, my friend. Keep up the great content. Videos are well put together and you make even novice car guys understand what you are doing and why. Awesome!
I've been following this project from the beginning and it makes me mad. Here's why. I had a gen 1 CTSV. I saved up enough money for a down payment and a little for some mods. It was my first dream car. I had it for almost three years. Then tragedy struck. My wife lost her job, we had a kid, and I had to take a lower paying job at work. The easy way out was to get rid of the V for something more practical. Because of our situation my credit had suffered and could only trade it in at a sketchy dealership. I only owed 8k for and still had to pay them. It hurt and still does. Now I'm ready to get my dream car back and I can't find one under 13k. In my search I found your videos. To find out you only paid 5k makes me mad. For real congratulations on the car. It's turning out amazing. I hope some day I can get another one.
'were talking four hundred and fifty dollars in emblems, which to me, for this right here, absolutely outrageous' lmao. truer words have never been spoken. good grab with the Amazon badges. they look mint
It looks soooooooo damn good! Have you thought about black floor mats? Would hide stains easier and contras well with dash, shifter boot and door panels. I really enjoy these videos! Looking forward to the next!
Loved watching this build. I am actually looking at a 06 for 6k. For sure needs clutch no other info guy bought it at an auction so as long as everything looks good when I go check it out tomorrow it will hopefully be comming home with me. It has 109k miles not sure what cam it has but it does have one long tube headers and corsa exhaust. There'd also an 04 I'm looking at for 11k with 120k miles if this 06 falls through. Been watching a ton of videos learning all I can about them and learning what to watch out for
This channel is absolutely going to blow tf up soon. I feel it. Great content. Great production quality. Maybe slightly long for some people, but I enjoy it. Just everything I want out of a car youtuber. The only thing I'd recommend is maybe a gopro or something to avoid covering the mic. Keep it up, Chris.
I recently sold my cls550 had k&n filters, box riser mod, aluminum charge pipes and exhaust man i miss the sound of that mercedes v8. Now im just trying to figure out what i want to replace it, been heavily thinking about a v thanks to you.
Looks fantastic. Wish I could say I’d never been there; buying an accessory in the moment, only to realize I’d overlooked a small detail (like color match).
A master of many trades! As a detailer, when you said you were going to buff and polish the car In my head I was like “oh gawd”.. but to my surprise you have a lot of attention to detail and patience. Great work all around brother, don’t stop doing you 🤙🤙
Rebadge design makes inlays for the badges all the way around including the crest so that way you can keep the oem badges super awesome transformation!
This channel is going to have one video that’s going to be his big break and this channel is going to get the real recognition that he deserves.
Just in the passed month or so he's nearly doubled his subscribers. He's definitely on the come up.
He definitely deserves it
I'd say he got it lol! It was when he bought the car. That video has 163k views
