Part of the problem is that many men view that kind of community and vulnerability as feminine or gay. They're raised to fear adopting anything feminine; that's a threat to their definition of masculinity. Because parents are the weak link. Stop trying to be your child’s friend, male or female. Be a parent! Tell your children to ignore social media. Put some effort into parenting and restrict the access. Stop giving kids smart phones at young ages. They just need a basic communication device. Make them go out and interact with their environment! Also, don’t be afraid to critique them and ask for better, not mediocrity. Everyone isn’t going to be a winner. He’s right about young people have not had to sacrifice to be able to survive.

My biggest fear is that the history always circles and after all this progress it really looks like war is just behind the corner and in 5 to 8 years the purpose might me a war again. People never fucking learn! 😂😂😢😢😢😢😢
We were given purpose by war for a few 4 to 10 years at a time. The other 65% of our time we were finding purpose in work and family. We've been forced out of male jobs and female jobs alike. We've had our children taken from of us after our wives got bored and left. We've had our purpose taken from us and if society doesn't care about us there's no reason to keep going. I appreciate that the host understands that situation better than most. The only thing people like Trevor Noah is a condescending attitude and untrue left wing talking points. He mentions crying in front of men and getting assulted by them for as if that happens without mentioning a woman's reaction of disgust when you do it in front of them. "I spent all of my time with women." Yeah we can tell.
I'm sitting here trying to empathize with you, but I'm sitting here wondering why you expect to be taken seriously when all you do is lie and hold a hate for women that's visible in your words.
It really seems like being able to be open about what’s going on inside requires a level of strength that feeds back into the given ability. The ability seems to be promulgated by a relationship with someone a “younger” man respects
But men can’t speak about their emotions… at least not to women. You don’t believe me? Sit and cry to your girlfriend for 6 months a few times per week, tell her how hard your life is, all the stress, worries, cry a little and see what happens… she’ll say things like I just don’t feel the spark anymore etc and inevitably leave you.
If you’re that upset you probably need therapy, which is awesome and you should get it. Women can’t take on their partners mental health load too, a lot of times men need professional help and that shouldn’t be stigmatized at all, it’s healthy.
