Just from what I have seen in your videos, it's apparent that you are a gifted mechanic. I thought I was pretty good but you can do more with one hand than I can with two, and I've been working on cars for almost 50 years. Take a look at 'rollsroycenut' youtube channel....Ronny Shaver...he owns Ronny's Garage in California....he started as a mechanic in a Jaguar dealership, he now is regarded as one of the best Rolls Royce mechanics in the country (the old 'real' Rolls Royce, not the new, overpriced plastic version). He holds informational meetings at his shop and then puts the video on youtube.
@@VITOSGARAGE You should always. Every nozzle has tolerances and i assume you never checked the opening pressure with the old ones. It takes great impact on the overall performance of the engine. It should be around 115 Bar and not differ more than 5 Bar over all the nozzles of the engine. Trust a german with a 200D ;)
@@clayton9136 I understand. Let me go back 10 years so I can redo it. I’ve been working on these cars for many years and I have a feel for how tight the injectors need to be. If I’m doing major engine work such as cylinder head replacement or piston change, I’ll use a torque wrench for sure. If you are new to these cars and don’t know how tight certain components need to be, I advise you use a torque wrench

Shoulnd you check and adjust the opening pressure of the new nozzles before installing them?

@@VITOSGARAGE Absolutely imperative that diesel injectors get torqued to spec. Whether it has a clamp, or its threaded like these are.
