For the max sneak glitch, you can perform it right inside your cell when you first start the game. Sneak into the table. The game doesn't start until you walk up to the door.

There is something so absolutely satisfying about the physics systems in the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games... specifically Oblivion. God I miss the joy of using these for the first time.
I have vivid memories of duping lightning scrolls in a corner of the Sanctuary in Cheydinhal. I will forever treasure these games, even if Bethesda has become... somewhat unsavory.
I killed the unicorn yesterday and when he ragdolled, he went spaghetti and crashed my game lmao
The permanent effects glitch actually does work with amulets you just have to equip/unequip an item from a different slot (I.e pants, shoes, chest piece, helmet, gauntlets or rings)

Headcannon: Some pissed off mage, who was salty about the Levitation Act, cursed every paintbrush in Cyrodiil to ignore thr laws of physics
It was probably Master Neloth or Divayth Fyr. Those two are some of the most saltiest bastards in the game lol
There's the sigil stone dupe. Just save before grabbing it and if you don't like what you get, reload. Duplicate glitch stones to make a 100% chameleon or reflect damage suit, and you are invincible.
A cool thing to know if you own one of the newer Xboxes and you play Oblivion it's available on the game pass and upgrades it to 60 frames per second with a better draw distance it's the closest we're going to get to Oblivion remastered on consoles

Also on that sneak one, if you get their attention you can block all their attack and heal while doing so, then let them attack you while wearing light armor picked up of the skeleton, then again while wearing heavy armor from the room after that, all jumping while doing so. Sneak 100, Block 100, Light & Heavy Armor 100, Athletics and Restoration, up there.

@@GamingExploits thanks, I played this game wayy too much growing up. I rewrote the letter given to us, written by the Grey Fox, aged the paper and passed them out to my friends, I did the same thing with the "We know" letter in Skyrim.

@@borger298 "best" depends on the person, and what you can get your hands on. For efficiency, I'll do gemstones since they weigh very little. But late game I sell the very scrolls I use to duplicate since high level scrolls can be over 200 gold a piece, and I'm carrying them anyway.
@@borger298 I've been selling the rings I used to max out my attributes. Made a good bit of gold doing that.

You can also max out *heavy* and *light armor* and also *block*
Just let the rats hit you and heal yourself with (heal minor wounds)

This is best done as an Argonian. This is because rats in Oblivion have a 10% chance to give you up to 3 diseases.
@@Unchainedful Fk that, get diseased, exit the sewers and dupe for enough gold to max out Frostcrag Spire and also buy 2 magetallow candles. Now start a new save as an orc. Load up your main save after that, and bam, you have Drain Attribute as a spell effect. Craft a spell with Drain whatever Attribute so you'll know the spell effect for the rest of the playthrough. Then cast a spell that drains 100 health and 100 endurance for 1 second, on touch. You only need 25 destruction to cast this spell, and it instantly kills anything as most things don't have Endurance higher than 100. Your spell temporarily changes the Endurance of the enemy so it only has 100 health so you can 1 tap anything. Dk if it works on Dagon but would be funny if it did.
Yeah, I love Oblivion. Not more than Skyrim. I love them equally. I tried picking a favourite between them, and I just couldn't decide.

@@OreganoParsley I've tried to get into Morrowind but I found it challenging. If you played it back when it came out, you would enjoy it. But it's very hard to get into it nowadays after playing all these technically advanced games with new great game mechanics

There's an even easier way to max out sneak even sooner! Create your character, but don't run forward to the front of the cell. If you start any dialog with Valen Dreth, start over. Crouch and walk into the corner with two hanging chains, to the left of the secret exit. You will be close enough to Valen to level your sneak, and not start the beginning events.

This comment is 100% correct. I recently find out that steam will allow the controller to work and I was talking to my friend who told me about it and I like damn this game looks damn good for how old it is.
If you want to know about the steam controller, you will have to go to the game properties in steam and then activate it. I aint going to the great detail. Cause it's, it's not familiar to me. It works good enough. You'll have to get used to how it's different.
For the arena you can actually exploit it even harder by jumping at the walls and letting the enemy hit you will be sent upward, on the wall and out of range where you can arrow or spell them to death. The spikes are for show and dont hurt
Or just use a summon spell as the summon is ignored completely
If I’m remembering correctly you can get daedric items through bound summon and somehow drop them. Something to do with the standing stones.
I actually know this one! All you have to do is summon a bound item (whether through spells, scrolls, or the appropriate stones) damage the item by attacking or being attacked by something, repair it, drop it, wait for the spell to time out, then just pick it up. The items have no weight or value but keep their damage and defense. Interesting though certain parts of the bound armor set are considered light armor even though they're daedric.

@@GamingExploits use the daedric bound armour and get a bit damaged to it or be able too use armourer too get its hp too 125 not 100 and you're able too repair it and then drop it then wait for the bound affect too clear, just waiting 1 hour should get rid of it and when picked up u keep it with no weight too it

I figured out how to do the dupe glitch, and it still works as of June 5, 2023. The best absolute best thing to do is dupe a bunch of Rings of Transmutation, and then sell them to Palonirya at Divine Elegance in the Market District of the Capital City for $1200 gold each at 80% disposition. That way you're getting the most bang for your buck in terms of weight value, because each ring only weighs 0.2 for $1200 gold each!

I did the dupe glitch over Christmas so I can confirm it does indeed still work :)
Just go to the all item category in inventory menu, double click a scroll with a higher number than the item you wish to dupe (must be at least two. If the dupe item has 15 items of it, the scroll used to dupe it must be 16 or greater. You have 1 grand soul gem, go to all items tab in inventory. Double click the 2+(insert spell scroll), then drop the grand soul gem. Two grand soul gems will be dropped. As long as you can drop an item, you can dupe it. Double click a flash bolt (100), drop a gold emerald ring, boom 100 gold emerald rings. Its seriously that easy.
Iirc if you're swimming you gaing Athletics at a faster rate. So you can get a dip in one of the ponds in Imperial City, hit autowalk into a corner and get it a bit faster

It's definitely worth joining the thieves Guild before attempting to rob Dorian for infinite gold. The only way to remove a bounty that high is to go to prison or pay off your bounty with a thieves Guild doyen.
(I ended up having to escape from jail and run around the countryside being attacked by guards the whole time trying to initiate the thieves Guild quest line, and then had to run around Imperial city dodging guards to complete it, just so I could pay off my bounty and not lose stats)

It works good on PC.... except for as op said, the only options (for me) the guards gave was resist or jail. If you are part of the thieves guild will paying off that way show up?

I've known of these already but still fun to watch, I started playing again last night I'm already level 18 with most of my minor stats bumped up to 50 and most of major above and beyond 50. My character is Beavis lol.

I'll have to try the duplication glitch later today. There's a dremora shield I have that doesn't seem to take any damage, so I'll try duplicating it.

@@GamingExploits it's worked wonderfully so far. I've duplicated 3 shields, 44 weak potions of healing, and 16 strong potions of healing. I remembered I had strong potions after I duped the weak ones, but oh well. More septims for me.
(Edit) I just made 780 gold off of 30 weak potions.

Also note on the arrows if you pickpocket them take all there arrows and give them one arrow of type you want they will shoot endless arrows of that type.....
That's skyrim. Npcs don't have unlimited arrows.

You can actually do the permeant effects glitch with armour aswell, done it with my character in vanilla oblivion on my Xbox 360 and PC

You left out the shrine with paralyzed people that don't die. You can get all your offensive skills up there. Just make sure to put difficulty to high so they don't go unconscious too often

In the arena you can climb un the wall left and right and just shoot the arena foe. The gold one is faster if you get your disposition to 0 then bribe him to the max that you can.
I done rings, necklaces, shoes, pants, shirts,robes, hoods, HELL even shields for enchantment stacking. No excuse to limit to even rings.
hey did the fix the trainer glitch withbdrain skill on the newer console?
Do you need to be in a certain difficulty to have Dorian drop more cause he only gives me 9 and and when I click it to pick it up it takes it all and I have to reload my save data
Use the speech mini game bribe him and then purposefully lower your disposition with him to keep bribing him then use paralysis and he will have a ton more gold to take
Let it be known! Any method of paralyzing Dorian will allow you to infinitely collect his gold. I used my mage staff of Paralyzation and it worked for me

You should bribe Dorian before using paralysis since that increases the amount of gold on his person. Rinse and repeat. Plus you can repair damaged bound armour/weapons for weightless Daedric armour (which you can drop). You must drop the repaired items and wait for the spell effect to elapse.

For the unlimited gold exploit, brine Dorian with a bunch of gold first before doing it. That way he has more gold to pickpocket. I had him up to 603 gold to pick each time. Sooooo much faster than his usual small amount he carries
Has no one ever discovered what are possibly the best glitches in the game?
1) Steal item without it being marked stolen or triggering arrest. (I stole all gear from all Imperial guards and they all ran around in just under clothes)
2) Make summoned daedric items PERMANENT. Best armour rating and weapons almost no weight added to encumbrance and no time limit.
I discovered a glitch that could do both as well as infinite duplication of any item including nirnroot if I remember correctly. Only unique items could not be copied. Basically any item that triggers a game alteration. Also i made a potion that put on an arrow would deplete all stat meters and kill multiple ways. Imperial guards shot with 1 arrow at furthest visibility dead before they reach the stationary shooter.

Correction on permanent effects glitch. You can use a hood, shirt, pants, necklace, ring, pieces of armor, and shoes.

I used to cheese the arena by jumping up on the spikes surrounding the arena and use magic or ranged weps, the enemies cant really hit you at all unless they have magic or bows.
Gold glitch still works and it unlocked the dark brotherhood for me so it’s a win win

Hey my ring worth 1000 gold can't be equipped after dupe. What happened? After thinking about it I may have done the Stat glitch by mistake.

Hey man, do you know any way to get a grand soul filled gem early in the game??
1. Buy from Aurelinwae or Calindil in the Mystic Emporium, Imperial City Market District.
2. Most Mages Guild Halls will have at least one grand soul gem for sale. These may also be pickpocketed from the merchant.
2. Four gems can be obtained via the quest "Sins of the Father”.

Im on Pc, Goty deluxe, i dupe quest item when using staff of worm and staff of corruption. I dupe ton and ton of azura star. Scroll method for the black soul gem is not working for me. I can only dupe empty black soul gem.

I think the Dorian potion of paralysis gold glitch is patched.
Money glitch does work he has to have at least 100 gold in his inventory to work so bribe him before you use the potion

But how do you get Fortify Attribute?
Any fortify skill will open that up for spellmaking / enchantment. Can buy it from mage guilds or spell stores
Not true you can use hoods as well with the Perma enchant glitch
