I’m not gonna lie when the adoring fan came up for a split second I thought this was alternate dialogue Until you shamelessly plugged ofc but the AI voice recreation did not falter at all there
Well, back at it again! And twas stood the adoring fan, a bright and young soul shattered by the cruelty in the shape of a person that he once worshipped as a hero. His grand champion stood in front of him, his dark sword hiding the blood that coated it from tip to pummel, dripping the crimson liquid on the snow and leaving spots of it, contrasting against the white pure blanket of frozen dew. The man he once worshipped as a great and honorable warrior now had the stench of death all over him, a putrid smell that seemed to mimic a miasma of decay, his eyes looking like the deepest abyss of oblivion... Staring directly at him. Through out all of this, the young wood elf kept wondering why? Why did this... Thing keep him alive, he tried to rationalize it in any way shape or form, either a act of kindness or a scream of help from the light that was trapped within the grand champion's soul. The adoring fan's eyes widened as he saw the monster lift his sword arm, he tried to call out to his idol, trying to remind him one final time of his most loving fan, the one that considered him an inspiration for all... Yet his calls fell on deaf ears as he finally realized why the grand champion kept him alive... He simply wanted someone to watch the end of cyrodil, the end of the empire. In that moment the once bright elf snapped, letting out a smile of insanity in the end as he was struck down by the sword of his hero, his inspiration, his body falling down the cliff as it hit the snow below, his final resting place as the cold enveloped him. The once champion of cyrodil, now nothing more than a catastrophe greater than the Oblivion gates, greater than merunes dagon, would watch the one person that tried to see kindness in him even throughout his systematic massacre fall like all others, his body fated to be consumed and mummified by the show... Hed lift his feet as a moment of clarity took him... It was time for the last soul in cyrodil to perish... It was time he joined the sea of souls he created... And part of him... Wished his most adoring fan would be there to greet him with that same bright, dumb smile.
You were soo close, but there's at least 2 NPC's that I know of that you soft locked out of the game during prep. In the DB, there's a quest that when started spawns an argonian in the marshes outside of Lewiin, but you kill the male argonian in the DB before you got that quest to spawn the other argonian in the woods. And in the arena, if you talk to the gray prince before challenging him, you'll be directed to a vampires lair. I did leave details out cause they're both easy to miss but both are highly rewarding. And nonetheless, a valiant effort! ***Edit*** Scratch that. There's at least four you missed, as there are also a few quest in Bruma that won't spawn until after the quest had been started. There's one that spawns a unique bruma guard. One that spawns a dunmer and another unique bruma guard along with a Brenton woman. There's also a quest also in bruma where you encounter multiple ghosts of ackivire soldiers (ik I butchered the spelling, idc) but they're hostile and im not sure if you'd count those.
If what I've heard is correct, the Cowl of Nocturnal is the most useful item in the game for a evil character. Going to commit a crime? Simply equip the cowl while stealthed, commit the crime, and run out of aggro range before removing it. Congratulations! Your crime is now The Grey Fox's crime, and you don't have to worry about the guards!
I can't wait for a Starfield NPC genocide run Edit: I love your use of classical music here, it really gives an exquisite appeal to the carnage, you're a proper God of madness now
I actually like the way the durability was handled here (i hate just losing the weapon when it breaks breath of the wild and totk) you can actually repair it stupid easily as long as you are out of combat and at max skill you only need one hammer on you. also if you are playing normally yes the class does matter as only the major skills will contribute to your character level , and yes Martin is voiced by sean bean Oblivion has quite an interesting voice cast. One last thing if you talked to the argonian chick you wouldve gotten feather scrolls for the quest
either your cheating your whole way through every step of the way to reach your goals faster, or you’re actually reading guides and putting in hours upon hours of effort for your videos, which either way takes dedication. in short, i’m impressed either way
That's why i love The Elder Scrolls games. It gives you more possibilities than average game. What game would allow you to do such atrocious acts? Probably not many...
theres an in universe reason why prisoners in elder scrolls end up fulfilling prophecies: the prisoner. you play as someone who, somehow, achieved chim in universe and thus escaped "the prison" that is video game reality. this is a thing for some reason
I like to imagine the reason you were imprisoned at the start was because of murdering countless people, but due to the whole Dagon situation, nobody really remembered what you did and kinda let you go
Man, that opening felt like a love letter to this game, so having that followed up by "so I never played this game" and some negative remarks about how it looks and plays makes me hurt that being said "fuck yeah I want an extra 20 points of speed" is mad relatable If you want another challenge run, you could do a run where you clear out every Oblivion gate in the game. [if you do that though, you may wanna crank the difficulty down to like 20 or 30 percent. It's not a skill thing it just changes enemy health and makes progression generally faster so the game feels more fluid that way] On my current run I'm playing a hand-to-hand build with the steel gauntlets since they look like metal boxing gloves and I've just been fisting my way through the forces of hell as I close shut the jaws of Oblivion one gate at a time. I'm up to like 32 or 34 gates closed by now and I've been having a fucking blast.
OH ALSO if you do the _all oblivion gates_ run, remember there's a max of 60 gates per playthrough, but technically there's a total of 100 possible gates since there's 90 possible randomized locations for gates to spawn honestly it's a little disheartening to me that I can't clear all 100 gates on a single vanilla playthrough cause after a lil while you get into a groove for how to hunt down the gates like there's a pattern to it I won't tell you what that pattern is right now though, it's my hope that you'll pick up on it just by observing your surroundings as you clear each one. That is of course, assuming that you try this challenge at all. If you do, I wish you the best of luck on your journey to *CLOSE SHUT THE JAWS OF OBLIVION.*
Doing this in Morrowing is not only possible, but the game will tell you with a popup "Bro, your progression is broken now. Load a save or have a broken save". But it lets you kill everyone, no matter how important they are to the story.
Can you just imagine being someone from the provinces while this was going on? It sounds like the slaughter phase went pretty quickly here, so while everyone is still cleaning up after the chaos of the Oblivion crisis (which apparently messed up everyone who wasn't an Argonian living in Black Marsh) word gets out that the emperor is dead but the crisis is over and then... ...nothing. No messengers, no traders, no instructions to imperial legions, just... nothing. The initial celebrations give way to deep unease and nervous waiting. And then the scout reports begin to come back of city after city filled with already rotten corpses culminating with the nightmare of a dead capital. The chaos after such an event would be indescribable. Of course the Thalmor would be happy. They'd have an incredibly easy time taking over with Cyrodiil essentially annihilated.
The Adoring Fan's ad segment was so weird and I absolutely loved it. Such a good idea... But man, seeing that face, move weirdly realistically just.... *shivers*
at 16:54 the game congratulates you for killing everyone without anyone knowing it was you, which is impressive given you openly murdered every single npc with a fucking two handed sword lmao

I was such a good kid. This was my first immersion into an RPG world and I never had the thought to kill any random people.
I think New Vegas was the first time I realized I could just start unloading on the peasantry.
IVE WAITED FOR THIS FOR SO LONG
14:20 someone had so much beef, with a five-year-old girl they hired a hitman on her
Pelinal is a good choice for the video thumbnail. That being said- couldn’t do this myself
I’m not gonna lie when the adoring fan came up for a split second I thought this was alternate dialogue
Until you shamelessly plugged ofc but the AI voice recreation did not falter at all there
Oblivion's dark brotherhood is so much better than Skyrim's.
I agree. I actually liked most of the family members in Oblivion.
@@britt6184 having to kill them all sucked so bad (especially since it was a mistake)😭
Also Lucien Lachance is an icon
Excellent, more death and despair. Cant wait.
The classical music while chopping down everyone in your way really does look great. Been on an Oblivion watching binge lately enjoyed it
crazy how I was watching the other kill all NPC videos and then you post this today while I was watching them. love this stuff
This guy has an insane body count... I don't want to know what he does outside of gaming
Bruh, where are my taxes gonna come from now
I was really confused until I saw the name and pfp lol
@@dumpykong The assassination was a hoax so I am still alive
Thank you for the flashing lights warning before the rapid clips at the end, and the general lack of flashing cuts before that.
4:34-Ahh don’t worry, it’s just Todd Howard silently plotting his revenge against you for fucking with his game.
"2200+ dead npc's" or as the Mongols called it, "A slow day."
This is very well put together. I really enjoyed watching it ❤
If what I've heard is correct, the Cowl of Nocturnal is the most useful item in the game for a evil character.
Going to commit a crime?
Simply equip the cowl while stealthed, commit the crime, and run out of aggro range before removing it.
Congratulations!
Your crime is now The Grey Fox's crime, and you don't have to worry about the guards!
That end montage with the deaths in beat with the music was so satisfying, thank you good sir 🎩
I can't wait for a Starfield NPC genocide run
Edit: I love your use of classical music here, it really gives an exquisite appeal to the carnage, you're a proper God of madness now
I actually like the way the durability was handled here (i hate just losing the weapon when it breaks breath of the wild and totk) you can actually repair it stupid easily as long as you are out of combat and at max skill you only need one hammer on you. also if you are playing normally yes the class does matter as only the major skills will contribute to your character level , and yes Martin is voiced by sean bean Oblivion has quite an interesting voice cast. One last thing if you talked to the argonian chick you wouldve gotten feather scrolls for the quest
either your cheating your whole way through every step of the way to reach your goals faster, or you’re actually reading guides and putting in hours upon hours of effort for your videos, which either way takes dedication.
in short, i’m impressed either way
think i had about 150 hours of pure video game footage for this one
That's why i love The Elder Scrolls games. It gives you more possibilities than average game. What game would allow you to do such atrocious acts? Probably not many...
I find it hard to believe that gaming channels like CohhCarnage, Grolhvana and Dumpykong have a low sub count.
Lord Dagin: TREMBLE BEFORE ME MORTALS! I WILL DESTROY YOU AL- .... Wait, where is everyone?
Dumpathan: Aloha! :D
theres an in universe reason why prisoners in elder scrolls end up fulfilling prophecies: the prisoner. you play as someone who, somehow, achieved chim in universe and thus escaped "the prison" that is video game reality. this is a thing for some reason
I like to imagine the reason you were imprisoned at the start was because of murdering countless people, but due to the whole Dagon situation, nobody really remembered what you did and kinda let you go
You should definetely do Morowind soon.
great choice of music, love to see it.
I was listening to an angry man complain like a child about knives and cereal and this feels great
Can’t wait for I killed every NPC in starfield
I can't wait for "I Killed Every NPC in Daggerfall"
Can’t wait for Dumpy to bring this series into the real world!
"It's old."
Oh. Oh, Dumpy.
You should do this for Daggerfall, preferably the Unity version.
Bro that would be torture
oh my god
The adoring fan AI as a self advertisement
I am both horrified and impressed
Man, that opening felt like a love letter to this game, so having that followed up by "so I never played this game" and some negative remarks about how it looks and plays makes me hurt
that being said "fuck yeah I want an extra 20 points of speed" is mad relatable
If you want another challenge run, you could do a run where you clear out every Oblivion gate in the game.
[if you do that though, you may wanna crank the difficulty down to like 20 or 30 percent. It's not a skill thing it just changes enemy health and makes progression generally faster so the game feels more fluid that way]
On my current run I'm playing a hand-to-hand build with the steel gauntlets since they look like metal boxing gloves and I've just been fisting my way through the forces of hell as I close shut the jaws of Oblivion one gate at a time.
I'm up to like 32 or 34 gates closed by now and I've been having a fucking blast.
OH ALSO
if you do the _all oblivion gates_ run, remember there's a max of 60 gates per playthrough, but technically there's a total of 100 possible gates since there's 90 possible randomized locations for gates to spawn
honestly it's a little disheartening to me that I can't clear all 100 gates on a single vanilla playthrough cause after a lil while you get into a groove for how to hunt down the gates
like there's a pattern to it
I won't tell you what that pattern is right now though, it's my hope that you'll pick up on it just by observing your surroundings as you clear each one.
Can’t believe you didn’t do the one DLC that mattered…
can't believe he forgot the ebony warrior
HUBBY!! WAKE UP, DUMPY KONG POSTED
based
wow, that mouth-bluescreen-thingy is very cool^^ nice video
Thanks for giving Oblivion the respect it deserves! Favorite game of all time and has been since I first played it when I was a wee lad.
God im now excited for morrowind, its gonna be a bloodbath
I can't wait to see you do Morrowind and Starfield
The Adoring Fan's ad segment was so weird and I absolutely loved it.
Such a good idea...
But man, seeing that face, move weirdly realistically just.... *shivers*
Didn't wander the empty streets of oblivion when it was done 0/10
21:22 This effect requires GPU accelerations
Lovely editing and music choices - well done!
at 16:54 the game congratulates you for killing everyone without anyone knowing it was you, which is impressive given you openly murdered every single npc with a fucking two handed sword lmao
If my memory is correct, isn’t Lucien Lachance’s corpse literally just a typical in-game zombie model?
Morrowind and every galaxy in Starfield, your next.
The cinematic shots while classical music played was absolutely *chef's kiss*
Normally id skip the member join discord bs but that was so well done i just watched and liked it
This video has everything. Comedy, murder, oblivion, murder, classical music, murder, Sean bean, murder, and of course a happy ending.
That was fun! Oblivion was the only TES game I've played until recently when I started Skyrim and I gotta say, yeah Oblivion is more fun in the way it doesn't take itself so seriously. I'm walking through the mountains of Skyrim and it looks so pretty, but so far it doesn't seem to have the heart that Oblivon has.
Also this was very entrtaining because I'd never do it myself (I chat with the Oblivon NPCs meet to make them like me, I can't hurt them :D ) but I was curious to see it done!
23:00
I mean, technically, one of the recommendation quests teaches you the spell "weak fireball" so... definitely archmage material
