Lots of useful stuff here, if you set video to dewarp on Action4 then in Davinci Studio I have to go into Fusion Tab and add Lens Distortion dialed to 0.523 to curb the vertical distortion on the left and right sides of the video. Also for images Lens Distortion dialed to 0.596

Great vid, quick question, the action 4 in video mode breaks down the video into segments, does this mean that when you put the 3 files(let’s say) there will be a slight gap between recordings and not a seamless video

It works best with the DJI selfie stick, but only because of the narrow pole diameter. If you buy any pole with a similar diameter, it would work the same.
What is the best editing suite to use with this camera, for me go pro 7 i use action director but for this camera it loads some files and the rest sound only, my video's can be upto an hour long. thanks

Gopro 12 has this feature, but do you know if DJI Osmo Action 4 and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 have such a feature? Have you encountered situations such as heating up and shutting down? I have been researching for almost 3 days, but no one has shot video for long-term live broadcasting, and I am afraid of making a wrong decision and ruining the whole job. I would be very happy if you could help me, I could not find this information anywhere.
Hi, thanks for the message. With all of the good action cam options, it can be really hard to figure out which camera will work for what you need. The Osmo Action 4 and the Pocket 3 can livestream through the DJI Mimo App. From my experience with the Action 4, if you stream outdoors at 1080 (the highest res for streaming), you should not run into any overheating issues. I hope that helps!
hey jordan...nice video. thanks for maing it. i want wide angle shots, 4k, cinematic footage...for my youtube shot films...my budget is very limited only dollar 400...so is action 4 good option to buy. please reply. and what about heating issue. some says it records only 24 minutes in one go. In other, beginer level, low priced dslr and mirror less cameras ...i am not getting full frame better footage recording cameras. that's why, i am thinking of action 4. Also i will have to spend few more on kits for bigger cameras.
Overheating should not be a problem, just check other channels testing Action 4 for it, looks quite decent. I remember David Manning recently tested it and it was somewhat over 100 minutes

Great question! No, there won't be any gap in recording when you edit the videos back together. It's a continuous stream. Hope that helps!

You can download the apk of DJI Mimo from Google. I just bought DOA4 today.
