Cool video. But i have to ask , whilst vlogging on the streets of big cities with a action 4 should is it possible to add an external mic that records front and rear. For example when i flip the camera away from me or towards me then the sound still is even. What's your thoughts? Or should i just use the built in mic and fix in post? Thank you so much as always

POV shots did u use the standard, wide, or super wide option? doesnt look so wide in comparison with gopro? is this the widest it goes? thanks

Great job on the video! Nice use of settings to get the most out of the camera. It does look good overall.
One thing I haven't seen in videos so far is related to the UVC webcam mode. Does it still have the ability to use stabilization in that mode? The previous model added UVC but didn't add stabilization with it. There are some situations like with IRL streaming backpack setups where that combination could be very useful.

I am actually in the middle of deciding what to buy now as I’m going back to Japan and going Disneyland etc. on the rollercoaster and all the rides what mount did you use to film? Chest? Wrist mount?

Loved this video showing the features of the DJI Action 4! I plan on bringing it to Disney World in March next year. Did you use it handheld the whole time? I want to bring the DJI mini extension rod but I’m not allowed to bring that even though it doesn’t extend that far out huh?
FINALLY someone reviews and action cam at Disneyland for us that are not into action sports.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Something better than my phone, but not as big as my mirrorless and pro glass.

Great question! The few JPEGs I snapped looked pretty good but I haven’t tried RAW. I always treated these as purely video cameras so I don’t have the best answer for this 😢

Would you use Rock Steady or Rock Steady +? I’m confused by the difference and not sure which to use for a majority of my shots. Also, what ISO is the highest you would push the camera?
For these scenarios, I found rock steady to be plenty enough. ISO wise: I used 6400 as max for the Star Wars ride
Will they be bringing D-Log M to the Mini 3 Pro? It seems silly to have the same sensor/sensor size in the Action 4, but D-Log M…
You sure made this theme park video fun and covered a lot of questions/answers on the Osmo Action 4. It all made sense to me since I've been using the DJI Action 2 and now kinda understand action cameras. ❓BTW, in my hobby-personal videos, is it legal for me to use B-roll like you in the clips from movies, cartoons, Lone Ranger music, etc? Does it fall under a spoofing category or something? I don't post them to social media or sell anything. Thanks for sharing this video, loved the plastic poncho segment! 🤣🤣

Do you have a break down of what you can bring to film in disney?? We have a trip planned and I just got the action 4. I want to capture the best I can but don't want to get stopped at the gate for anything not allowed.

Did you recommend 60fps for shoots that you are not going to do slow-motion? Or 30? or 24?
Doubt any action camera is going to best the Pocket 2 for a while in low light. A slightly smaller sensor but at f/1.8 and mechanical stabilization allowing for 180 degree shutter (1/50th at 24fps) rather than the high shutter speeds required for digital stabilization. Please give us the Pocket 3 with this sensor (i.e. the Mini 3 Pro's camera).

Interesting! - I didn't know 1/120 is enough for digital stabe, I thought you need more like 1/250. I'm going to film more at 1/100 now I think (pal) and see how well that stabilises :)

3:43 🤣 lol!! That's why DJI's so popular!! They create small cameras with large sensors that others don't event know ur recording... purrfect.
We all know plenty of action cams deliver great shots in good light. The trouble is always low light shots. The Action 4 moves the needle some, but still not enough from my perspective. I don't know what DJI is waiting for because they have this technology now. DJI wouldn't be able to keep them in stock if they upgraded the Pocket Osmo with a bigger sensor. Perfectly stable footage all the time because you aren't relying on software to figure it out for you (i.e. motorized gimbal) in low light AND with a bigger sensor you could get those low light and night shots. Come on DJI, take my money. :)
Is it me or is this 100x better than GoPro in low light? (except in auto mode, the shutter speed is way too low)

Yes, another day at Disney playing with a new camera! I’m about to take my new ZV-E1 to Disney World this week and I can’t wait! I recently took a GoPro chest mount on the new Tron ride, looks like this would have done better in low light! Big cameras are nuts to take on rides, I’ve filmed quite a few on my a7iv 🤪 fun day!
