Thank you Jess, I really appreciate you making this! I've found myself wanting an alumni page or something similar to talk to other parents that have gone through the program. Currently going through the program and seeing soo much progress but it's hard! We are starting step 7 (check-ins) and I'm so intimidated. Wake ups can be long and hard with my 11 month old baby. Did you have any hard nights too and how did you get through the long and frequent wake ups?
It's so hard and you're not alone! Step 7 is a big one for sure. A big key for us was stay connected with your spouse emotionally. We tried to alternate as much as we could with check ins and talking on the monitor. If one of us was burnt out, we would switch.
The hardest part for me was not to go back to how we did things before when she was upset. Stick to the steps as much as you possibly can because then your baby knows what to expect when the boundaries are clear. ❤️ you got this!!!
do you have any overnight support? Or just daytime chat with Batelle?
@@FinancialCoachJess thank you for the encouragement, it really means a lot to not feel alone or like your child is the only one experiencing this. We do not, just day time. But now that they have the option to purchase some I might if it gets too hard
@@kaseybrady3846 yes, it got intense on day 7/8 but after just a couple nights, she understood this was the new boundary and it's been so amazing ever since. trust the process, i know it's hard, but it's going to be so worth it!
