  • When we took this Rolex Sky-Dweller apart, we didn't expect to find everything we did!
Watch us take a look inside of the Rolex caliber 9001 movement only to display the amazing details and intricacies of the watch, but also to bring the watch back to life with a little watchmaking magic!
The Sky-Dwellers 9001 movement is breathtaking to say the least, and is comprised of the most individual parts of any Rolex movement...380 components to be exact, which include the bidirectionally set annual calendar system called SAROS, named after the eclipse cycles discovered by the Babylonians long before modern science and technology!
To take the shattered stainless steel Sky-Dweller apart we turned again to our preferred watchmaker, Yuri Lopez from Chrono Sky (see Instagram and website links below).
    / chronosky
We take you step-by-step through the repair and overhaul process of the watch, showing each piece of the most complicated model of the Rolex brand, while making the video both easy to understand and educational.
Let us know what you thought of the video in a comment below and also how you think so many pieces of glass found their way so deep into the watch!

Great video CRM! Now I can see why Omega Hesalite version made it out in space. The danger of shattered sapphire is definitely a deal breaker in space. I am thankful to God for CRM educating me in the world horology. Thank you 🙏

@@Crmjewelers yes, I can see now that when a glass breaks it is just not a replacement of glass alone but almost a complete service to avoid any further movement damage. I can clearly see the advantage and disadvantages of sapphire vs. acrylic.

@@b.peppercorn739 We are all responsible and accountable what we believe. For me, I believe in God placed knowledge in each one of us to give. CRM gave of their knowledge to others such as this video. They will prosper because it is the way God planned for each one of us to prosper. It is called the Law of Giving. As you give, you shall receive. It is all from the Bible.
No one gets knowledge from by themselves, knowledge is passed on from one person to another. Is our responsibility to teach and show others those we love. In my eyes, CRM really demonstrated loving their clients by showing.
