I have the blue skydweller . Both the DJ41 and Sky are stunning and be dressed down or up

Very well presented as per usual Jonathon. Both the DJ and the Sky Dwellers are beautiful in most formats. I prefer the DJs at 36mm as I am a bit of a traditionalist. I also like the sports (professional) models larger at 40mm plus with the exception of the Explorer which I prefer at the 36mm size. Although you mention the steel v bi-metal the Sky Dwellers even on the steel have the 18k White Gold functional bezel so is still Rolesor.
The 36mm Datejust does look a bit small on your wrist but around 7" wrist is a sweet spot to wear both sizes. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks, Jonathon.
Of course 36mm is “the” traditional Datejust but that 41mm rolesor Datejust with the silver dial is a real knockout. Classy yet modern it combines the best attributes of old and new in my opinion
Johnathan , I’m thinking of buying the blue alligator strap for the aqua terra you’re wearing . With a blue suit do you think it would match better with brown or black shoes ?
Black is safe. Brown perhaps a bit trendier

Very tempted by the black dial sky dweller atm. Can't quite understand why they haven't fitted a double clasp on the bracelet? Would it be due to it being aimed more as a dress watch rather than sports range? Great video cheers.
Thanks Stephen. Yes alike the datejust that is the style of clasp more suited for a dress watch with the secondary clasp reserved for sports models.

How do you feel about yellow Gold watches Johnathan ? For example a day date 40 or a two tone DJ41 ? Are you more of an all gold or two tone person?

Dj41 wins 🏆 that 1 slimmer lighter more elegant not to busy cheaper more varieties fantastic movement etc ..
DJ41 is amazing
Not really fare comparison. Two completely different models. Sky Dweller is more complicated watch, in fact the most complicated Rolex reference and that reflects in the price difference as well. Not to mention, Sky Dweller is a lot more rare watch especially with a blue dial.
A Datejust 41 looks on your wrist looks like a Date on my 6.5 inch wrist.
The date just is not in the same league as a Skydweller. You might cross shop a DayDate 40 and a Skydweller, but never a Datejust
