Im having issues with the cable on mine being loose. The backlight for my heating control unit seems to have a mind of its own. Nightmare trying to use those dials at night. Going to take that side panel off and have a look when i get a chance
Hi, no i have not fixed it yet. Looking at the dash i suspect that the center section of the dash including around the glove box might be separated from the main part of the dash, with a combination of screws and clips, which would give you easy access to the cables, but i have not had a go it trying to separate it yet.

i am contemplating trying to dismantle part of my dash to, just need to be in the mood to do it lol
well i have finally figured out how to disconect the cables and get the switches out, i have just uploaded a second video.
Did you manage to fix it? Because i have the same problem right now and i can find how to fix it.
