1 - stage 1 is well worth the money, and the Cobb OTS 91 octane tune is a great value i.e. free. 2 - the rear motor mount improves the 1-2 & 2-3 shifts, which help launch car so much better 3 - short shifter kit is a must have and easy to install 4 - I'm not a fan of noisy cars. Instead, I spent that money on Raceland coil-overs which lowered the car a bit and made the handling much better. 5 - the K&N high flow filter is a nice compromise over the standard OEM filter and cheaper than a full intake.
Short shifter 100% greater feel to an already great gearbox. My no.1 mod though is tyres, ditch finders need to go bud, all them mods and power held on the road with cheap nastiness. Car will transform with ps5, eagle as5 or conti prem6
I share your enthusiasm with the ST. Mine is now stage 2 with some pretty neat additions. It never fails to put a smile on my face. A mate of mine had mixed views on them before I made him test drive mine. He now has a new found respect for them. 😊
Hi Josh, I know you've sold the fiesta now, I own the exact same car but in white. The engine noise making that clicking/ticking is that normal at about 6:37 is it anything to worry about? Or just noisy fords 😂
I have a st 2014 , when i bought it nine years ago i took it to graham goode motors , they tuned it for me which made itdrive like a different car and so much faster
I’ve owned mine for near 8 years,it’s stage 3 now. But personally I think a quaife diff and a Collins performance lower gearbox mount/ roll restrictor are the best mods
can you put the same short shifter into a fiesta metal edition 1.6, its a 5 speed and comes under the zetec s model. cnat find anywhere that will tell me
Alright mate how much you paying for insurance each year on the car? Looking at the same car as my first, obviously not as modded as yours but don’t know if I’ll get shafted on insurance
I dont know about the ST but I have the 1.6 Diesel and boy, I dont like the transmission and flywheel weight. About 1% are smooth shifts or you have to keep your foot on the gas a bit and let the clutch out slowly and kill your clutch... In some gears you have to be constantly be a racing driver to get a smooth shift because RPM can drop fast. In other the other way around and the gears are so short. If I am at a traffic light and speedlimit is 70kph (should be around 45mph) and you are in 5th gear and constently shifting...
Really enjoy you videos and great car mate! I reckon you've found the sweet spot for mods, still looks classy. Keeping mine stock though as they're still totally brilliant as left the factory and I really love mine's standard look in Spirit Blue. Honestly doesn't matter if you have a stock or modded MK7 ST does it as they're so engaging to drive. Best car buying decission I've ever made!
High quality video. Nice transitions, good commentary, and simple presentation. I'd continue to trim and polish your script. Either justify a longer run time with more in-depth details on the mods or scale back the dialogue and feature more of the great visuals. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
CHAV! Induction kits just allow you to hear the sound of air being restricted. They do nothing for BHP or torque, they just make a noise. They are much smaller in surface area, so the holes need to be 12 times bigger than in a correct unrestrictive paper element. They don't filter, they can't do because the holes are much bigger than a manufacturer specified filter panel, they also block up much faster due to being smaller and degrade performance, but at least you can buy endless cleaning kits. The World of Boy Racer parts is a scam as they are easy targets. A neighbour has the most hideous sounding car, a Golf R. It sounds like my old car when the exhaust fell off at the front, similar to a spitfire. He drives it up and down trying to set off neighbours car alarms, being a right nuisance. It is slower now than new.
Appreciate the paragraph mate. I like the noise the induction kit makes and I can tell you for a fact the car is quicker than it was before I put these parts on (even without the tune). Driving around purposely trying to annoy people is not something I do and I agree that it is unnecessary especially in housing estates.
That pop and bang map sounds awful
It is very annoying after a while
All pop and bang maps sound awful unless you drive a world rally car with antilag 😂
Aint that bad, but I wouldn't have it so often and not as many
I really feel like it’s ur opinion
How do you get pops and bangs?

Can confirm the milltek non res race is the best exhaust. No drone, quiet when driving normally, but amazing when you put the foot down 🖤
I have to agree!

I have currenctly Nankang NS2R . Are the Ps5 or eagle asy better?

How much did they charge you?
Louder exhaust its always "look im handicapped" :D
I do have a muffler and resonator delete currently on mine and was wondering what your opinion would be on doing a cat delete as well!
Keep the backbox/muffler as a full straight pipe with a decat makes the car sound AWFUL
@@jjg724 will do! i might throw in a high flow resonator as well
What is the induction kit Called
ITG
What wheel spacers you running ?
I wasn’t!!
@JoshBatesYT really wow they look out nice 👍
Hi mate always love the vids, where did you get the steering wheel re trimmed?
Did it myself but bought the material from wheel finesse
I’ve owned mine for near 8 years,it’s stage 3 now. But personally I think a quaife diff and a Collins performance lower gearbox mount/ roll restrictor are the best mods
Hi mate where can I get the steering wheel cover from? Also the badges?
Hi mate enjoying the videos, where abouts is the short shifter from
You can get them on the aet motorsport website for a good price. Plus you can use my code JoshB5 👀
can you put the same short shifter into a fiesta metal edition 1.6, its a 5 speed and comes under the zetec s model. cnat find anywhere that will tell me
White wheels in England? That’s universal. Agree with the short shift and exhaust though.
Look stock = feel modified.
Whats the steering wheel?
Thanks for this video man, I have a blow out valve which makes my fiesta st sound like a beast, but I love this exhaust upgrade you did
how are these wheels called and what size are they?
Great mods and great car. With all that wheelspin my number 1 mod would be a set of sticky rubber all round and 2 some track pads for stopping!
What size wheels do you have?
I’ve been debating chucking focus RS at my fiesta and making an absolute demon of a track car
Does anyone know if the Uk spec Fiestas have the same engine bay as the US based STs? I want to buy the induction kit but don’t know if it’ll work
Yes it will fit
hiya mate, what alloys are on your fiesta atm there looking smart 👀
The brand is XXR. And they are 17inch
@@JoshBatesYT cheers lad 👍🏻
I had white wheels on my Fiesta but they were always dirty
Alright mate how much you paying for insurance each year on the car? Looking at the same car as my first, obviously not as modded as yours but don’t know if I’ll get shafted on insurance
Don’t get one for first car in uk, insurance is crazy due to them being stolen. I payed 2k insurance at age 20
And I passed test at 18

how many bhp you running with stage 1
Should be around the 215/220 mark
what is a good first car cheap insurance ?
Citroen c1, maybe Kia Rio 1.25, Coursa always a shout 1.2, seat Ibiza 1.2
Depends how rich your parents are 😮

what insurance are you with? just because i can’t get insured on an st at 20?
im 20 and my st was my first car u may have to get your mum or dad as the main driver or u will be paying 8k a year mines 2.3k a year
looking at getting an ST, im 19 with a claim, 1year NCB and im bein quoted 1.6k
I’m 45 with one claim, live in east London, paying £1,800. Cheapest quote I got … last year I was paying £1,300
@@SPcrypto79 tbf i live in the middle of nowhere in quite a nice area so it probably helps tbh. But paying 1.8k at 45 is just criminal.
I’m an old man 51 but the good thing about that is I pay £419
Dude, I have a SE automatic with the S mode so I can pretend I'm stick shift. That thing is zippy.
I’ve added hood and truck struts to my st260
guy has the Recaro's but the little screen 😂
1: Coilovers 2: lighter wheels 3: remap 4: LSD 5: proper tires
This kids hair is taking me back to 1998.
Just sold my golf R and I’m picking my black ST2 up on Saturday! Can’t wait as people say these cars are a riot to drive. 👍
How is your golf r?
The white wheels look good
I'm not gonna hate on the guys car...he's young and it's his 🤷
That steering wheel cover is minging
Knob??
Just take the money that you would have spent on this stuff and go s280 🤷♂️
First modification I'd do would be to take off the ST badges
Can I ask why?

Boy racer noise mods BS.
The whole car screams boy racer??
Short shift waste of money,
I have to disagree. I loved my short shifter. Made it so much more engaging
Bet he's on daddy's insurance
My 5 five top mods for a Ford Fiesta:
No 1: Get a new car..................
Hating for what reason
😂😂😂 that’s a good mod to be honest I should of thought of that
funny one😬
You can only count to 1. Bless you.
I need white wheels ❤
