Thanks for the information. My wife's mk7 doesn't work on 1 anymore. Waiting on a new resistor to arrive tomorrow from Amazon. Looks so much easier than my MK2.5 focus, that was a pain!!
One of the most patient guys on TH-cam! Most of us, the second we'd plugged the loom into the replacement resistor, would have immediately turned it on to see if it works. Not screw it in place, then replace all the trim, before testing 🤣
Nice video - thanks; Clear and simple to follow. I have this exact problem on my wife's Fiesta and have bought a new resistor module for less than a tenner on eBay!! Better than Ford's £37.95 and then I guess I would be charged an hour's labour if I'd taken it into a garage!! Cheers!
Update! All good, I was looking in the wrong side. On left hand drive cars it is in the passenger side or the right side. Many thanks. Blower working on all speeds now.

what does the resistor do for work is it only blowing that creates hot air the stove fan or the resistor
