- Season five is coming out super soon! We know this season is going to be Prince Lotor focused. He's coming for a discussion with the paladins and as we see from the trailer and clips he does end up joining them. But who were the ones willing to trust him? Lance definitely is weary of Lotor. He's matured a lot over the past few seasons. He's not going to be as trusting as he used to be.. Shiro is the most willing to talk with Lotor and let him join them. Him being a clone made by the galra is certainly one of the reasons why. Allura doesn't like Lotor... not simply because he's galra, but because of what he's done. Yet she'll take on the situation diplomatically. Hunk is not quick to trust anyone. Lotor is no different. Pidge is analytical. If Lotor wanting to join them doesn't make sense she'll not listen to him. Especially if he comes between her and her family.

I think "Shiro" bring Pidge and Matt because of the whole idea that he's being controlled by the galra. He probably knows that Pidge is the most likely to give in and want to get their (her and Matt) father back. Matt would probably be skeptical however like before Pidge will act off of her own will and impulse. She cares for family and overall will try to get her father (some she TRUSTS) over Lotor who has easily tried to kill and trick them before. That's why I think Shiro took Matt and Pidge to talk/negotiate with Zarkon.

It was honestly so evident that this is clone Shiro because of Roy from Young Justice who didn’t even know he was a clone but was handled by Sportsmaster and was used to infiltrate the Justice League. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing was happening with Shiro
