That looks awesome. This would look crazy as a gaming monitor or as a tiny game set up with a snes classic or ps classic. Definatly on my list of things to buy.
It could be very cool if you install Emuelec and test retro games from that firmware

I must say, this one is full of inspiration for a DIY project... generally i'd love to see it with a 7" 4:3 display and stereo output... but i really like the colour controll and dip-switch ideas 👍

I’ve had a fair number of trips to the hospital, and this would be a great addition to an overnight bag. Less likely to get lost in the sheets and dropped, or swiped by anyone there, but small enough to perch on a tray table. I’ll have to give this a second look!

Anoustly there needs to be re-creations of old 80s wood little TVs in this form with Android smart functions or retropie installed into them. And still have something like Composite and HDMI in the back
I do widh if they were alittle bigger. Like a 10 inch size tablet

Seeing a smart TV menu on a CRT (even though it's not CRT) reminds me to when I used to play the Xbox 360 on my old CRT, it was the only TV my brother and I had as children in our room

Yes, you could set-up a whole mini entertainment system. This has been my dream ever since they started releasing all those mini consoles.

Although I have to agree that it’s not worth what they’re asking for it, kudos to them for the novel design. I expected the shell to be purely decorative; very clever of them to make the knobs serve a useful function. Hopefully they make an even better (and more affordable) version in the future.

Just subbed! Been watching alot of your vids lately. Great content. I would love to see you test a Mclassic dongle on a Pandora Box. I think that would be a great video to see if it lets you do 4:3 aspect and upconvert to 1080p

Why on earth would you hook the Switch up to it, when the Switch already has a bigger screen built in? That doesn't make sense, to go from a bigger screen to a tiny one.
Mini TV with HDMI input is nice but I wish they also include HDMI output as well.

I'd like to see the PCB of this thing to see how they included the hdmi input, as I'm pretty sure the S905 can't natively support hdmi input, so it must have a separate board for it.

This thing would make a awesome desk toy this would be a cool way to display some system hardware monitor software then flip a switch u basically have a android TV box with a screen built in.

With a resolution of 640 x 480 this thing has a really good screen for playing old PC titles through DOSBOX. While it looks great, it would make much more sense if it was in a handheld form factor.

Tempting little machine. As someone who grew up gaming on a 10 inch CRT tv this has the nostalgia for me. It would probably be too small for some games to be easy to play. I wonder if it would be perfect for PSP games maybe.

That’s a cute little toy, but it makes me think, it’d be cool if we had a more life-size product like this. Something small-ish, like a 31cm TV, like most of us would have had in our bedrooms as kids. Throw an OSSC in the box and have the analogue inputs accessible on the back. Reproduce the feel of an old TV. CRTs are in short supply, so we have to learn to make do, and it’d be nice to have an LCD in a retro package.

it's awesome as a collectable device and in terms of mobility its fun having it too imagine going outside in car carrying this or carrying this in the gym during work out and having lots of fun while work out I think if bluetooth might be inbuilt in that it would remove the con of less sound in its speaker wicked gamer and collector @kindly mention it have bluetooth or not regards
I think they should have added a coaxial port to fit the "tv" gimmick, second best option is to download vivatv or something
Hey wicked is the hdmi in go to a control board to the ips or does it go into the 905 board? Or is it all the same board? It would be nice to have an internal pi4 and a battery pack to make it portable. Would be fun to tinker.

@@WickedGamerCollector it started 2 days ago when I wanted to see if there was any preloaded "accessory consoles", in the past I found a guy who took a video game light gun and modded "gun games" into it. Same guy took a wii golf club and modded "golf games" & a fishing pole, etc.
I can't find it this moment, but I swear I saw it.... Maybe it was on Etsy... Seems like an etsy thing.
With hardware scanlines emulation and stereo speakers this thing would sell like hot cookies.

@@westmcgee9320 There's plenty of positives CRTs have. Better at multiple resolutions, input lag to name a couple. I almost exclusively use CRTs
