hi there, nice big layout! For the new C-track Märklin turntable, you have 2 roundhouses. One ist the Märklin lasercut (and cardboard) roundhouse. The other is the Faller 120281 (plastic) roundhouse. Both have 12 degree like the turntable, not 11 degree. The old turntable (7186) is slightly bigger in diameter, so it uses 7.5 degree intervals or 15 degree if you use every 2nd... Why they decided to build the smaller turntable, I don't know. Maybe to sell more roundhouses. In Germany you've had the smaller turntables (22m diameter istead of 27m) on a lot of smaller Bahnbetriebswerken (depos) because they were cheaper tu build. You might have noticed it is a little tight for some of the bigger Lokos.

Nice video and layout. I have the Marklin turntable on order - not sure when it will be back in stock. Which roundhouse kit is that? Some of them have 15 degree track intervals, which doesn't match up with the 11 degrees of the Marklin turntable.
Hi Bruce. I bought the roundhouse second hand as 2 x 3bay units already assembled. It is in poor condition with broken and some missing parts but it was cheap. It is Vollmer brand. I don't know about more modern Marklin turntables but mine is a 7186 with 24 x15 degree intervals. I have modified it extensively to achieve fully automatic operation.

I just bought a MARKLIN 3000 89006 & marklin 23014 & PIKO 553784 used for $100. Wasn't sure the value, so may be overpaid....but they looked nice :)
