Ones again Peter you did a amazing job. And I have to say some of the video recordings of the cars sound amazing with good headphones. So if they sounds very good on video recording, it must sound amazing in person

Peter love the vid i had one of those jl8w3 in a sealed box powered off a jl audio 6 channel with focal 6.5"k2 power in the front on a eclips comition single din in my ek9 rep 10 years ago very precice hit of these subs set up correct would love to build this style box in my current astra h was it a open baffel between each sub how would i best calculate the volume please keep up the good vids and advive thankyou.
Between this, the trip at Simplicity in Sound, and probable some Porsche Nick is working on, seems like a good week for Porsche installs HAH

@@pssound9749 Whats your take on mids in the door in this manner? can a true center be achieved? Its very difficult for me to do A pillar pods like in most installs. Not a fan of widebands either. Im afraid it either door mounded mids like this or maybe Valicar Pods
I know the doors are a soar topic but what about the tweets here with the 3-way? Better staging/tuning with them in sail panels or in dash more forward. I know that separates them from the mids but those sail panels put them so close!

Peter, for competition use do you prefer to have each sub with it's own channel, or multiple subs wired together on a single monoblock?
Multiple amps are more difficult to match.
I'm curious where the mirror adjustment controls are now located. Were they not in the sail panel before the tweeters?
Also curious about this. Not the first I’ve seen it but never where the controls went.
Would using smaller midbass woofers that are angled towards the driver better than using larger midbass woofers facing each other if there is no space in a kick panel to mount a midbass driver and the only available space is the door?
Angling midbass drivers make no difference if you play them below 500Hz. In 2way configuration where they have to play above 2kHz it does make a difference though. It’s all about beaming point of a speaker.
So I'm guess that's where a wideband speaker comes in?

Funny, owner of a local, quality, independent Euro shop told me he’s never met a Porsche owner with money. Lol. Private aircraft owners are the exact same way, IMO. Quality work/safety at any system price point is key.
For me, though, it’s “what can I justify?” rather than “what can I afford?”.

I would have a tough time deciding whether to listen to the sound system or listen to that amazing sounding inline 6 cylinder motor
Not trying to be a jerk. But that car doesn’t have a inline 6. It’s a boxer 6 cylinder.
