You always knew something was cooking on the Amiga with the dreamlike slowdown. Best death howl! PS:I did not know there was an NES version! and I have always wished there was an option for the snes/Md versions to shut of the hokey music!
Gotta love the Amiga version - especially with the digitized falling scream sound 😺👍. It even reminds me of IMPOSSIBLE MISSION on the Commodore 64 and IMPOSSIBLE MISSION II on the Amiga 😺👍🕹️. A big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
I really can't stand the moire dithered pattern in high resolution of old Japanese computers. I know it was done in that way so that you'd think you see more colors on a CRT, but hell, it looks like old garbage on a modern screen.
🎮 Check out the final battles and endings of very Prince of Persia 1 version: th-cam.com/video/3-Q-8MAhQWg/w-d-xo.html
Prince : "Hey! Check this out!"
Princess : "Uh, okay."

5:17: Game Over
Missing Prince 2 version, where (in the Temple) a maximum possible fall would run through seven (7) screens!
I remember being in a computer fair so long ago... this game so wow me at the time😮
4:22 Jeez... So creepy.
I Enjoy Seeing These Death Scenes In Prince Of Persia From When It First Came Out Months Ago And Especially Like The Death And Game Over Music.
Atari XL looking pretty great
It is one of my favorite conversions

Life Lost

It's one of those occasions when it would be a good idea to use the TV/scanline filter settings on emulators.

True, but “old garbage” is kind of an aesthetic
