Excellent job! I know it's a ton of work but it would be awesome if you could add at the end of this videos a side by side selection of systems as you shortly do for the intro. In this case, for example, it could be one of 8 bits, one of 16, etc., and show one of the deaths (entirely) in a side by side edit, similar to the intro, but one of the deaths fully, with the selection of systems at the same time, as a "wrapping up things" at the end. Just a thought. Great work anyway!

Nintendo: "So as you know, over here we have strict rules and policies to ensure that our games are family friendly, so you can't show any blood are we clear?"
    Arsys: "Understood"
    Nintendo: "Good."
Arsys: "By the way for this port we're thinking of adding 10 more levels and we've come up with this fire based area with flame traps that immolate the player, is that okay?"
    Nintendo: "Sounds good."
As a side note I do think the SNES is the best version of the game to get, it doesn't have any shortcomings excluding people who might have liked the blood, though I've gotta say I love the gritty atmosphere in the NEC version, and although a lot of versions have good music let's just remember that the original Prince of Persia had no music at all, so it's always a nice added bonus to these versions.

Prince of Persia is one of the few games that more content and updated visuals make it worse. Amiga and DOS version are the definitive way to play. Visuals are simple, but they were ahead of their time, having modern look by today's standards.
POP 2 had also much more content and better graphics, yet it never got as popular as the first game on PC. While everyone had Prince of Persia on their computers in the 90's. First time I've played PoP 2 was in early 2000's, when I've downloaded it from internet.

Man, Prince of Persia Classic is one of those games I always keep in my heart cuz of how unknown they are, played for the first time the SNES version with 8 yo, sadly it was emulated through a SNES emulation disk for the Ps2, but still enjoyed it, later on my teens years on PC I tried to emulate some of other versions to compare and well, replay that game in other way, big was my sueprise seeing the SNES version was...not "superior" but highly different, ¡but for good!, kind of making me proud of introducing myself onto that game with the SNES ver. and made me appreciate more the work Konami did on Nintendo with this game.
Now, I have seen lot of this type of videos, Im pretty surprised seeing SEGA CD there and GB versions!! Didn't knew bout their existance, ¡¡thanks!! Now I have some games to try theese holydays, must give a try to those versions, aside of course the Sega CD by being more powerful, ¿wich version do you recomend me to try? The OG Game Boy or the Game Boy Colour? ¿There are significant differences or it dosen't matter that much?
Amazing video btw, ❤ long live the Prince of Persia.
PS: I would love to get the mobile ver but don't know where or how to search for it :'v.

For Prince of Persia Classic, I think it would have been better to include the PS3 and XB360 versions separately instead of letting the PS3 represent them both. If you compare the two, you can see that the XB360 version has better lighting and shadows; in any case, it’s a more significant difference than the Game Gear and Master System versions lol

Nintendo had such a big grip on the console market that companies had to keep things censored. That way, if their games actually were good on the PC, They wouldnt have to tone down graphic images to appease Nintendo. Nintendo didnt care how good a game was on computers or what the game was called on other computers, you had to conform to their standards to get them to manufacture the game for you on their console. Actually, if you originally designed a game on the NES, you couldnt release it onto other systems for 2 years as part of the licensing agreement.
Actually, if you want to see blood in early games, play Castle Wolfenstein or Forbidden Forest (games released before the NES came here).

Ha ha, the SNES version might not have the blood but holy shit does it have the most ways that the prince can die in the game. It's not even a contest. There's also a bonus death during the final fight where if the prince gets caught up by Jaffar's magic, he gets lifted in the air and basically dismembered.

All the Nintendo versions have no blood at all when the Prince dies mostly because Nintendo aims the game to be family friendly and back in the day Nintendo was notorious for censoring blood in their versions of games that have blood in it.
