I bought WRC 9 on the nintendo switch store for $2.99 because I had a long flight overseas. That game is mad! Addicting as hell, one of my favorite racing games I have every played. I can only imagine playing on a wheel.
It's insane on a wheel very fun.

What I love about the WRC series is the super special stages like karlstadt and Barcelona a nice brake from the driving through the countryside every once in awhile

Just bought WRC 9, have played Dirt 4, Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, Generations, and Dirt 2.0 all for many, many hours. Gamepad for all. Have WRC 8 but haven't played that much. Recently just took a break from generations to play SLRE for a month and enjoyed it thoroughly. All the rally games have something redeeming. I really like Generations, but I'm pretty sure if they just had the 2011+ WRC cars on DR2.0, it would be the winner.

Wrc 9 is hands down the best version especially when it comes to the sound of the cars

i buyed 7 because lately im being interested in watching rally racing, now that you said 9 is standing out i will get 9 also. but i will finish my career first in wrc 7 thanks for the info!
9 is significantly better than 7.
the reason why i buyed wrc 7 so i can get to know how the game works back then. and to know what it feels of the older version of wrc games. so when i will play the newer versions i can get a grip on it and feel better XD. @@frogboyx1Gaming

What about the s*** e-brake physics and asphalt having no grip on tires no matter what tires you choose. And also how the hybrid cars only really throttle at 80%

WRC 10 best Textures ever. Look at the Tesselation of little stones. WRC G have broken Reflections and broken Rain FX. To sad they abandoned the game. No Updates since December.

You will have to adjust the controller settings on either one you choose

The new WRC from EA is going to have 30+ kilometer tracks. Right now I highly recommend getting Dakar Desert Rally it has very long races. You can play it pro or arcade like motorstorm.

Generations is definitely the best on wheel, for controllers I’d stay on 9 .
I swear 10 is a tad bit better on controller
From playing wrc 5 and up not including generations. But 5 to 10 id say 10 is the best. I think youre throwing toooo much shade on 10! 10 is great! It has so many tracks! Granted it might have lost some yes but it runs the best on controller in my opinion. I do need to play generations tho to really speak. But ive been playing 10 more than rally 2 and and forza lol

I agree. I love Wrc 10. The anniversary mode was awesome and really challenging!! Ive got 6,9,10 and generations and 10 is definitely my favourite.

From 7 to generations which should i get to play with my friends, both of us are using controller and sometimes we do some couch gameplay too?
I would say 10 or Generations both are decent with a controller I can make a Video showing you how to use a controller on them if you would like.
I've been revisiting the Kylotonn games because of course EA just had to rugpull all Linux users with their "anti-cheat" bs a.k.a. spyware in EA WRC. I only own 8 because that was the only one my old potato PC could run when I got it and I have to say I think it still holds up as one of the best rally games out there. Dirt Rally 2.0 is definitely much better on the audio and the selection of historic cars but WRC 8 has much better stages that are longer and feel more authentic to real life. If you care about career mode that's much better in WRC 8 as well. Not to mention performance, Dirt Rally 2.0 would just barely run on low FPS on my old potato PC with only 2GB of VRAM even on lowest settings while WRC 8 performed beautifully even on medium. And you also don't get the DLC hell that DR2 has.
I Recently went back and bought every KT rally game on PC simply amazing games

Yeah all camera settings are the same you can adjust them all

I bought EAs WRC...and oh jezz....SiMRaCers will love it, but i just cant not stand those bland and lifess maps.
TK wrcs maps have a lot more atmosphre.

@mickeymike8723 yeah they are much better on a wheel setup but you can adjust the sensitivity to make them playable on a controller.

Generations is very good on PC and PS5 with a wheel setup The Xbox version still has a throttle issue but works great on a controller.
I recommend Generations due to the sheer amount of content you get with it. A lot of cars and tracks spanning the series from 8 to Generations.
