      Namaste, Ragi, Foxtail Millet, Bajra and Barnyard Millet are heating millets which means they should ideally be consumed during the winter season. On the other hand, Little Millet and Proso Millet have cooling properties and can be eaten during the summer season

I have seen many nutritionists and ayurvedacharyas talking about the risk of adding salt to yogurt from the perspective of health benefits. Can you please make me clear?

      Namaste, You can consume millet at any time of the day, preferably in the morning, at noon and at night. It is best to consume millet in moderate amounts; three or four times a week is ideal. However, it is not recommended for people with hypothyroidism.

    I have a question. Can u please answeer it? I eat sago with custard ,chia seeds, cashews ,dates amd banana. Is there any possible way my health is effected by it. My mother always soak it in water in night before the day i am going to eat it

    • @theyogainstituteofficial

      Namaste. While the combination of sago with custard, chia seeds, cashews, dates, and banana might be nutritious, soaking sago overnight in water can potentially lead to a combination of incompatible foods (viruddha ahar), potentially causing digestive issues for some individuals.

      Perform a taste test with new foods or drinks to check for reactions and ensure compatibility with your body. Continuously monitor how your body responds for informed decision-making. Also, substitutes, such as quinoa, amaranth, and sorghum, offer similar nutritional profiles, with higher protein content than millet.
